LUKYANOVA - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
BLUE COMAN - broke passing the 2050 metres. Shifted wider on the track to avoid galloping runners inside the 1300 metres.
FRENCH AFFAIR - broke racing into the first bend before settling midfield. Broke approaching the 1300 metres and locked wheels with CELTIC THUNDER, inconveniencing trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
INCOME STREAM - broke passing the 150 metres losing its chance.
ONE YANKEE SON - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. Broke again passing the 1300 metres losing all chance.
CELTIC THUNDER - inconvenienced and briefly locked wheels with FRENCH AFFAIR approaching the 1300 metres.
DANKE - inconvenienced by a galloping runner approaching the 1300 metres.

NEW FRONTIER, which had raced fiercely over the early and middle stages, choked down and fell to the track near the 1150 metres. Stewards sounded the siren and stopped the race for safety reasons in accordance with Rule 211A when the track could not be cleared. The event was subsequently declared a no race. A post race veterinary examination of NEW FRONTIER revealed no obvious abnormality and the gelding was stood down until it trials satisfactorily. Driver J Stormont was uninjured in this incident and cleared to fulfill his remaining engagements.

ALLONBLACK - a $100 Minor Infringement Notice was issued to Trainer N Chilcott for presenting the mare with sliding blinds which were not notified. Held up and brushed several track markers rounding the final turn.
KUNDANA GOLD - was a length out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver T Mitchell. Weakened final stages.
WOMENINLEAGUE - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
MOTU LITTLE PRINCESS - Stewards declared the mare a non runner under Rule 213(1)(e) after its behaviour was so unsatisfactory that it took no part in the score up prior to the start and was retired from the event. The mare was subsequently stood down from mobile starts until such time that it completes a satisfactory trial.
TAMARA GOLD - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record.

OWHATA ANGEL - broke entering the first bend inconveniencing trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record. Broke again briefly passing the 400 metres and paced roughly thereafter.
POCKET MISS - slow to begin impeding a second row runner. Inconvenienced by a galloping runner passing the 1400 metres.
COOL AND CALCULATING - inconvenienced by a galloping runner passing the 1400 metres. Held up rounding the final turn with Driver S Butcher shifting ground with the filly to obtain clear racing room over the early stages of the run home.
SARABI - checked into a gallop by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
SIGNSEELDELIVER - impeded by a runner that was slow to begin. Checked into a gallop by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
SHANDELIER - inconvenienced by a galloping runner passing the 1400 metres. Held up late in the run home.

BETTER THAN MOST - inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 600 metres.
DEER HUNTER - late scratched on veterinary advice at 7.05pm.
ATOM HANOVER - inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 600 metres.
LIVE REACTOR - improved three wide middle stages to race outside the leader passing the 1300 metres and was then eased to take a trail approaching the 1200 metres. Weakened inside the final 600 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. A post race veterinary examination, including an endoscopic procedure, revealed an entrapped epiglottis with surgery being recommended for treatment. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the mare resuming.
ROCK N SHARD - improved three wide middle stages to race outside the leader near the 1000 metres. Weakened over the latter stages to finish in 8th place beaten 17.8 lengths. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
CRACKARED - raced three wide from inside the 1600 metres. Weakened final stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality. When questioned Junior Driver A Fitzgerald stated that he had been obliged to race three wide after being unable to improve on the solid tempo that was being set up front.

DI'Z LUCK - broke inside the 400 metres inconveniencing trailing runners and pulled a flat sulky wheel tyre thereafter.
FORTUNATO - broke at the start but soon settled. Inconvenienced by a tiring runner inside the 550 metres.
MALABAR SPUR - inconvenienced by a tiring runner inside the 600 metres. Checked by a galloping runner inside the 400 metres.
ANNA KATE - Junior Driver D Ferguson advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners on the winner.
DANKE - the required veterinary examination cleared the gelding to start after racing in Race 1. Inconvenienced by a tiring runner inside the 600 metres.
BEAT THE HEAT - trotted roughly over the early stages losing ground.
LUNDQVIST - broke passing the 1200 metres and lost all chance.
KAI TIME - over raced in the lead during the early and middle stages.
THE LAST GAMBLE - inconvenienced by a galloping runner approaching the 300 metres. Removed from the Unruly for future stands.
GREY STOKE - raced three wide early and middle stages. Weakened inside the final 600 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.

DESTINED FOR HEAVEN - broke passing the 500 metres losing its chance. The mare was stood down until it trials satisfactorily.

ABOVE THE REST - gave ground from the 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - over-raced near the 1700 metres when GERSHWIN improved to its outside. Continued to over race before being taken forward to see if the lead was available approaching the 1000 metres. Commenced to tire from the 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
GERSHWIN - raced three wide early.
