Stewards questioned drivers C Hackett and N Chilcott regarding this incident. After taking evidence from both drivers, reviewing all available footage and considering their own observations, Stewards established that Miss Chilcott's shift was slow and gradual. Although Miss Hackett attempted to shift wider in response to the movement from her inside, GEORGIE BEST was slow to react and simultaneously lay inwards, resulting in its hind leg making contact with MESSENGER BUOY's sulky. After considering these factors, Stewards took no further action other than to note the circumstances. | |
