Race 1   THE THOMAS GREEN MOBILE PACE
DRUMMERSHAVTIME - declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.42pm after being found to be lame in the preliminary. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
HAVARTI ARDEN - raced wide early.
SEARING LIGHT - weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
HAZER - raced wide early.
VAN LIBERTY - lay out leaving the final bend.
AMARULA FRANCO - declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 12.42pm after being found to be lame in the preliminary. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming. .
Race 2   TONY STRATFORD RACING STABLES MOBILE PACE
BAILEYS BEAUTY - paced roughly at various stages throughout. Weakened final bend.
HUMBER HAWK - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued with a $100 Minor Infringement after presenting the gelding with blinds which were not notified. Lay inwards in the run home. Driver C Dalgety was advised to ensure he makes a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home and to leave the passing lane free for trailing runners.
CAPTAIN WOLF - required the assistance of a starting attendant prior to the start. Paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung at various stages throughout having to be steadied by driver M Hurrell.
Race 3   DALLEN COVERS HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed when KIMBO became fractious in the pre-race formation and crowded outside runners. Sent to the outside of the Unruly by Starter B Ward. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
MAJESTIC DAUGHTER - broke over the concluding stages and continued on in a break over the finish line. Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing replays trainer R Austin did not contest the protest and MAJESTIC DAUGHTER was disqualified by the Stewards. Connections were advised the mare was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming.
FILLYOURBOOTS - broke after 150m losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
KIMBO - broke near the 800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SONNY JIM - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
PYRAMID MISCHIEF - lay inwards at various stages throughout and again in the run home being unable to be fully driven out by driver M Williamson. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Trainer M Williamson advised he would be making gear changes prior to PYRAMID MISCHIEF racing next.
JET STREAM - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Weakened final bend.
Race 4   HRT ANDREWS TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
CRACKASKY - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer C Gerken advised the mare had been working well in the lead up, had benefitted from a favourable draw and more economical trip, adding he was not surprised by the better effort today.
SENT - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Weakened final bend.
LOVE MEISTER - broke after 100m and hampered trailing runners racing into the first bend losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MEANDMYSHADOW - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
SWAHILI - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Weakened final bend.
MACH A WISH - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
BATON ROUGE - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
RAKATURBO - over-raced middle stages.
ROBYN ROCKS HEAVEN - held up leaving the final bend.
Race 5   RED'S TROT
GARONNE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
ANDY HALL - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation shortly after the start.
OUR EVIE RAE - trotted roughly in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - broke at the start losing all chance.
GEENA'S GIFT - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
DONTTELLARTY - broke near the 1500m losing all chance hampering trailing runners and was retired from the race by driver B Williamson. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
WORSETHANTED - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
ANNROSE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m.

MAGIC SIGN - broke briefly shortly after 150m.
DARE DEVIL - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
JACCKA HENRY - held up rounding the final bend.
DELIGHTINGOLD - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained.
MR CASH MAN - raced wide from 1400m. Weakened final bend.
AIRWAVES - over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
JAY JAY DENARIO - raced wide from the 1000m.
TRAIN STATION - raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
DANGER ZONE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 7   KUBALA SEEDS HANDICAP PACE
RAKAMURPH - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a small abrasion to the inside of the off fore leg.
Race 8   BAYNES FAMILY HANDICAP TROT
MISTER - lay outwards for a distance near the 1600m losing ground. Weakened from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Blood tests were taken at the request of trainer C Buchan who undertook to advise Stewards of any findings that may have affected the performance of the gelding.
THE WILL - trotted roughly and then switched to a pace near the 950m having to be broken up by driver M Williamson and returned to its correct gait approaching the 750m. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's promoted 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had paced in excess of 150m during the running. After viewing the replays connections did not contest the protest and THE WILL was disqualified by the Stewards. Connections were advised the mare was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming.
BULLIT TRAIN - broke in the run home losing ground. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing the replays driver C Dalgety did not contest the protest and BULLIT TRAIN was disqualified by the Stewards. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MOR MOONLIGHT - underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer K Green and was treated for suspected muscle tie up.
CONFESSIONAL - the required veterinary clearance was received. Trailed the field throughout and was retired from the event near the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards spoke with trainer/driver A Clark regarding the tactics he adopted during the race. After hearing the explanation of Mr Clark Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry to give the matter further consideration. The gelding was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming due to an unsatisfactory performance. Mr Clark advised Stewards it was his intention to spell CONFESSIONAL following today's run.
Race 9   REGIONAL FORD MOBILE PACE
ROBYNS ART - raced wide early.
WAIKAKA - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained. Over-raced again in the middle stages. Raced wide from the 750m before being forced to race four wide from the 650m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
KOTARE KELSO - paced roughly final bend. Weakened in the run home.
