Race 1 - 2YO & OLDER UNQUALIFIED MOBILE PACE.
Licensed stablehand A Hartley admitted a charge under Rule 403(3) in that she started SLIABH RUE in a workout when the gelding had not been in the hands of, direct charge of and care of a licensed trainer for 28 days prior to the event as required under Rule 403(2)(h). After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicator imposed a $300 fine. SLIABH RUE was also disqualified from 2nd placing under Rule 403(4).

Race 1   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY TROT
DIMITROV - broke near the 1100m losing all chance.
PYRENEES - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
ATMOSFEAR - broke entering the first bend losing all chance. Broke again near the 1400m when trailing the field. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer J Abernethy.
YEAH NAH - broke entering the first bend hampering trailing runners losing all chance.
MAJESTIC TRIX - lost contact with the body of the field near the 900m.
STINA BLACKSTENIUS - late scratching at 7.40 am on veterinary advice.
REBEL CASTLETON - Driver A Harrison was issued a warning to start wider on the track when drawn unruly in future. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Ms Harrison advised that the gelding had cast the near fore shoe near the 1600m.
Race 2   HOARDING SIGNS AVAILABLE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOB PACE
IM ALL IN - paced roughly for several strides shortly after the start. Locked wheels with an inside runner passing the 100m.
BENSON DUDE - broke near the 1700m checking trailing runners losing ground before settling. Weakened from the 1100m and was not persevered with. It was established that a hopple side carrier had come adrift causing the gelding to break with Trainer J Kriechbaumer being issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to ensure the gear was affixed so as not to come adrift. A post-race veterinary examination revealed some soreness of the left side gluteal muscles.
RIVERGIRL BELLA - checked by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Over-raced middle stages. Contacted several track markers when disappointed for a run in the passing lane early in the home straight before then locking wheels with an outside runner passing the 100m losing momentum. When questioned regarding the tactics adopted and in particular his decision to shift back to the marker line approaching the 1100m Driver A Poutama explained that it had been decided by connections to drive the filly with cover in tonight's event given the 2700m distance and this runner's moderate form line. Mr Poutama was issued a warning in relation to contacting the track markers early in the run home.
MOENUI MISS - locked wheels briefly with an inside runner passing the 100m.
BUGALUGS - checked by a breaking runner near the 1700m. Held up briefly passing the 100m when locking wheels with an outside runner.
Race 3   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
MODE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
EAGLE HANOVER - locked wheels with an inside runner near the 100m.
TRIFOLIUM - broke at the start losing ground. Held up throughout the run home when disappointed for a run in the passing lane to the inside of KISS MY PIXEL.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke at the start losing ground. Broke passing the 200m losing its chance.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - locked wheels with an outside runner near the 100m before contacting the sulky wheel of BROTHER JOHNSON late in the run home despite the efforts of Driver K Coppins when held up for clear racing room.
Race 4   BOOK YOUR XMAS FUNCTION AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOB PACE
KING TIDE - a post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to the off fore leg which was treated.
BLACKLAZ - out of position at the candy pole. Driver S Phelan was issued with a warning. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Phelan advised he was disappointed with the effort.
BELL FIRE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
CLAUDE - over-raced when being restrained early.
Race 5   DAILY DOUBLE HANDICAP TROT
YA EEJIT YA - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 600m. Weakened leaving the final bend.
KAWARAU LIL - late scratching at 8.41am on veterinary advice.
CAVIAR NOIRE - Driver O Gillies was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ONE MORE MOMENT - when questioned regarding the performance Driver M Purdon stated that the mare had failed to handle the bends and in particular the final bend when trotting roughly before then having to shift ground early in the home straight to secure clear running.
VERY MAJESTIC - held up final bend. Driver P Ferguson reported that a sulky tyre deflated near the 200m.
Race 6   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HANDICAP PACE
MIKI'S MOMENT - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
BETA PREPARE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Over-raced middle stages.
LOUEZYANA - raced wide early.
Race 7   19TH NOV TRADIES NIGHT @ CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
THE MIKI TAKER - slow to score up after Driver E Johnson lost her whip when leaving the pre-race formation.
SOUNDSHELL - paced roughly shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Checked when locking wheels with an inside runner rounding the final bend.
RAVENS SHADOW - over-raced middle stages. Lay in rounding the final bend and broke locking wheels with an outside runner. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
LAS VEGAS - paced roughly in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Paced roughly late in the run home.
