Race 11 - NI TRAINERS & DRIVERS ASSOCIATION SUPPORTING NZHAT MOB PACE
Driver D Ferguson (MARA) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion shortly after the start. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Ferguson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 17 September up to and including 24 September 2026 (2 days).

Race 1   SKYLINE LOUNGE OPEN ALL RACE NIGHTS MOBILE PACE
SAYS WHO - Driver N Chilcott was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ARRIGO - Driver M White was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Mr White advised that the gelding may not of been suited to racing without cover throughout.
SEA THE CASH - Co-Trainers D & J Ferguson were issued a warning for being late to notify the filly would be racing without the anti choke device. Shifted out early in the run home but was immediately corrected.
KING TIDE - raced wide early before being eased to the rear.
OLYMPIC KO - back at the candy pole but was in position at dispatch. Starter D Blakemore advised that the mobile had accelerated prematurely rounding the bend in the middle stages of the score up with no action being taken against this runner accordingly. Held up by a weakening runner in the run home.
CATHY FREEMAN - briefly hampered in the run home.
Race 2   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY TROT
STASH THE CASH - pre-race warmed. Trotted roughly near the 200m when improving wide.
KISS MY PIXEL - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
CHESINOV - hampered when held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
TRIFOLIUM - Co-Trainers A & L Neal were issued a warning for being late to notify L Neal as driver. Mixed its gait briefly at the start.
SCOOTS - raced wide without cover from the 800m.
THE MERC - pre-race warmed. Raced wide with cover from the 800m.
PAT YATES - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Raced wide with cover from the 800m.
PLAY FAST AND LOOSE - removed from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 3   HOARDING SIGNS AVAILABLE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOB PACE
SOUNDSHELL - over-raced middle stages.
LOVEABLE ROGUE - broke early in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened in the run home.
CEE WHATABET - connections advised the gelding sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
RAVENS SHADOW - lay inwards entering the first bend contacting the sulky wheel of ABMAN when being steadied and broke losing ground before settling. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
HEARTS N ACES - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1500m.
ARTISTIC ROCK - late scratching at 9.20am on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 4   BOOK YOUR END OF YEAR FUNCTION @ CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HCP TROT
STINA BLACKSTENIUS - lay inwards contacting track markers near the 350m.
MAJESTIC TRIX - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Broke near the 600m when trailing the field.
REBEL CASTLETON - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
ALDEBARAN D B - broke near the 1300m losing all chance.
TIKI - Driver A Pyers was issued a warning for using his whip on one occasion with more than a wrist flicking motion and then crossing his reins for a distance in the run home.
EYES TO HEAVEN - broke near the 1750m losing all chance.
MONEY MAYWEATHER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SHARP N SMOOTH - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Raced wide with cover from the 750m. Driver J Stormont was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BROTHER JOHNSON - raced wide without cover from the 750m. Lay inwards rounding the final bend.
Race 5   TFS HORSE TRANSPORT MOBILE PACE
WALTZING WITH MIKI - broke briefly in the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Locked wheels with an outside runner near the 300m and broke losing all chance.
SHOWTYM GIRL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
CHANEL NOIRE - locked wheels with WALTZING WITH MIKI approaching the 300m shortly after Driver B Wilkins activated the removable deafeners and lost all chance. Stewards held an investigation into this incident. After hearing the relative evidence of Ms Wilkins, Z Butcher (WALTZING WITH MIKI) and viewing the replays blame could not be solely attributed to either driver or horse with no further action being taken other than to note the circumstances.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed at the first attempt with the field being turned out of line after HAYLEY MHOR failed to come up into line which would have presented difficulty to the 15m handicap runners. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
LUCA - broke near the 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
JASINOVA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
REGAL GIRL - held up for clear running throughout the home straight.
Race 7   DAILY DOUBLE MOBILE PACE
MIDFREW LANDO - when questioned regarding the performance Driver A Poutama could offer no explanation for the disappointing effort. Stewards will follow up with Trainer A Donnelly in the coming days.
ALWAYS B MAGIC - paced roughly rounding the first bend.
LORD DELMAR - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Lay outwards near the 700m when leading presenting an inside run for the trailing MIDFREW LANDO. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
VILLAGE REBEL - Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into the manner in which Driver N Chilcott used her whip in the run home.
AQUILA - weakened rounding the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
HOORAY HENRY - weakened rounding the final bend.
Race 8   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
MIKI'S MOMENT - pulled hard score up.
TUGAWAR - required the assistance of an Attendant prior to the score up. Broke early in the score up losing considerable ground before catching the body of the field near the 1000m. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
