A false start was declared when THE SEAMSTRESS broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver M Holbrough elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
THE SEAMSTRESS - placed in restricted room when held up behind the weakening WHATSUPMAN and locked wheels briefly with ELLIE ROSE rounding the final bend checking a trailing runner.
WHATSUPMAN - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner.
HARRY'S GOLD - checked and broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
CARRERA BRAVO - raced wide early.
PERAKI LAD - lay inwards early in the run home and struck a track marker. Again lay inwards and shifted into the passing lane in the run home. Driver R Harrison was issued a warning to make a greater effort to leave the passing lane clear for trailing runners.

SKY NEWS - the overcheck became detached in the early stages.
COURAGE MACHETE - lay inwards rounding the final bend placing inside runners in restricted room.
ELLIE ROSE - placed in restricted room by an outside runner and locked wheels briefly with THE SEAMSTRESS rounding the final bend with a trailing runner being checked. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 4   METHVEN SEEDS TROT
ROYALGLOW - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again leaving the final bend near the 300m losing all chance.
ZHUTEE - broke at the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of connections.
SCHOEMAKER - slow to begin.
WHATS UP THE HILL - trainer P Nairn advised the gelding would be racing without shoes. Broke leaving the final bend near the 300m losing all chance.
REGAL SPIRIT - raced wide early. Broke near the 150m losing all chance.
