Race 1   FLUIDMASTER - METRO PACERS HEAT 1 MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt when AUNTY ROSE broke early in the score up checking TREASURE COVE which also broke and was unable to regain its position prior to the start. Driver K Coppins elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart. A warning was placed on the barrier manners of AUNTY ROSE.
TASI AHNAU - weakened in the run home.
WAT NEXT - lay outwards early in the run home having to be straightened by Driver M Purdon.
FRANCO SALAH - raced wide from the 800m.
BENSON DUDE - held up early stages of the run home.
GOTTA GO MIKI - raced wide for a distance middle stages.
LA CONCHA - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dickie advised he was disappointed with the effort which he could only attribute to receiving mid-race pressure which may of taken its toll.
CLOUDING OVER - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1400m.
TREASURE COVE - paced roughly early stages. Raced wide for a distance middle stages. Lay inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry advised that the gelding had tended to over-race during the running.
Race 2   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS HANDICAP TROT
MISS KAWAII - broke at the start losing all chance.
FRANCO RONALDO - Driver T Herlihy reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
IM A ROCKSTAR - stood on the mark losing all chance and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
FLOSSY POPS - the overcheck became detached after the clip broke in the early stages. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Lay inwards at various stages and in particular rounding the final bend.
Race 3   THE MICO AUCKLAND MOBILE PACE
PRINCESS KREKA - lay inwards rounding the final bend.
ENVY OF ANGELS - checked by a breaking runner approaching the 500m.
SEA YOU NOW - checked by a breaking runner approaching the 500m
AWESOME CHOICE - broke approaching the 500m checking trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 4   BRECKON FARMS - METRO TROTTERS HEAT 1 TROT
TRIFOLIUM - Driver L Neal was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
CHESINOV - lay inwards leaving the final bend. Driver L Chin was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he shifted ground early in the run home which resulted in an outside runner being briefly hampered.
AND REMEMBER ME - shifted out on straightening for the run home but was corrected by Driver C Hackett.
KAMILLA - broke shortly after the start checking trailing runners and lost ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of Co-Trainers M Wallis & B Hackett.
SKEE PRINCESS - pre-race warmed.
KISS MY PIXEL - raced wide without cover from the 1300m when unable to gain a position in the running line. Weakened leaving the back straight the final time.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke shortly after the start then checked by a breaking runner losing ground.
SHARP N SMOOTH - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke losing ground. Briefly hampered by an inside runner early in the home straight.
Race 5   PIPEWISE PLUMBING JUNIOR DRIVERS COND MOBILE PACE
BLACKJACK - shuffled back during the running. Forced wide when attempting to improve rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver C Hackett advised that after getting back in the running the gelding had found it difficult to make ground up from that position however she was not disappointed with the run.
MISS BRABANT - weakened leaving the final bend.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - weakened leaving the final bend.
MIDFREW LUCRE - over-raced middle stages. When spoken to regarding the perceived improved performance Trainer J Abernethy advised the gelding was racing in a lower grade and suited by the slower tempo of tonight's race.
Race 6   HYDROFLOW - METRO TROTTERS HEAT 2 HANDICAP TROT
KAWARAU LIL - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
HAYLEY MHOR - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. Broke on several more occasions shortly after losing all chance.
EMILY BAY - weakened in the run home.
EYRE I WILL - weakened in the run home.
TWO FRANCS - trotting roughly leaving the back straight the final time losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance Driver L Neal advised that she was unable to get into the race from her draw and confirmed that the gelding had trotted roughly at various stages throughout.
Race 7   JEFFRIES PLUMBING - METRO PACERS HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
JUST US TWO - Trainer N Purdon was issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification of Driver M Purdon.
BETTOR BE SPECIAL - lay inwards when being steadied to take a trail near the 1100m.
ARRIGO - shifted out leaving the final bend contacting an outside runner. When questioned regarding this incident Driver M White explained that his drive had been travelling well at this stage of the race and it was his intention to shift the outside runners wider when the opportunity was presented, however his runner had raced greenly and had shifted out sharply when being corrected. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
ALWAYS A SPRINTER - over-raced middle stages.
Race 8   CHESTERS PLUMBING & BATHROOM CISTERN CUP MOBILE PACE
MIDFREW LANDO - lay inwards rounding the bends contacting track markers on several occasions. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
LOUEZYANA - raced wide early.
SECRET BEACH - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position approaching the 1000m.
THE JOLLY ROGER - back from position at the candy pole. Driver J Dunn was issued a warning.
HOORAY HENRY - contacted track markers leaving the first bend with trailing runners also contacting markers.
Race 9   PLUMBING WORLD EXTENDED SMOKO HANDICAP TROT
PANTANI - broke passing the 150m losing all chance.
BOLT FOR THE HILL - briefly trotted roughly near the 50m.
YOUNEVERKNOW - broke near the 200m losing all chance.
BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER - weakened rounding the final bend. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
LORD POPINJAY - weakened in the run home.
BELLE NEIGE - broke passing the 400m losing all chance.
Race 10   PIPE FIX PLUMBING MOBILE PACE
YANKEE FLYBYE - paced roughly entering the first bend and broke briefly losing ground. Held up leaving the final bend.
SRIRACHA - lay inwards early in the run home before shifting down further into the passing lane near the 150m. Driver D Butcher was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home in future.
SPIRITED BELLE - broke early in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch before trailing the field throughout. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - lay inwards on the bend near the 1250m contacting and dislodging a track marker. Held up throughout the run home with Driver B Butcher not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
MUCHACHO - lay inward on several occasions in the run home with Driver H Orange not activating the removable deafeners as a result. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
