Race 1   RANGIORA HRC MEMBERSHIP $35 MOBILE PACE
TERRORMYLOVE - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver M House advised the gelding had raced keenly after the removable deafeners had activated in the score up.
MONKEE MAJOR - over-raced in the score up. Continued to over-race in the early stages and was unable to be restrained to obtain cover near the 1500m.
SHADOW CREEK - crowded by an outside runner near the 1400m. Driver B Weaver was issued a warning to exercise greater care when shifting outwards near the 600m hampering an outside runner.
PUTERE BOY - lay inwards final bend and early in the run home.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - raced wide from the 800m. Briefly hampered by an inside runner which shifted ground near the 600m.
KOTARE KELSO - raced wide early. Driver A White was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground near the 1400m after crowding an inside runner. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Mr White advised the gelding had worked hard in the early stages to obtain the parked position with the effort taking its toll.
Race 2   CARLTON STANDING AT WAI EYRE TROT
SPECIAL SON - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
MISS SUNNY HILL - broke after 100m losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
SEEKING LOVE - broke passing the 1050m when leading losing ground. Broke again near the 800m losing all chance.
STUARTS BULLER BOY - weakened leaving the final bend.
GEORGIA TROUBLE - broke at the start losing all chance.
EVANGALIST - broke passing the 1500m losing ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance.
VICTOR RADLEY - held up early in the run home.
Race 3   BARNSY'S ALL TRADE SERVICES MOBILE PACE
LAZAKA - required assistance from a Starter's Attendant in the pre-race formation. Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Lay inwards and paced roughly when weakening final bend.
RAINA ASHLEY - held up final bend.
MAKE MAMMA PROUD - out of position at the start. Driver J Dunn was issued a warning.
Race 4   WORLD CLASS TROTTERS AT YABBY DAM FARMS & WAI EYRE TROT
FARRAH - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
NATIVES CULLERDAMOON - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver K Cameron advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled. Mr Cameron was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
THE GYPSY KING - over-raced and broke near the 1400m after striking the sulky wheel of JACKS POINT despite the efforts of driver J Thomas. Continued on in a break for the remainder of the race until being captured by the Clerk of the Course in the run home and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ZOE HARBOUR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Trainer K James advised the mare would be restricted to mobile starts in the immediate future.
DAZZLED - raced wide early. Held up final bend and early in the run home.
Following this race the track was upgraded to Good.
Race 5   LAZARUS & US CAPTAIN AT WAI EYRE MOBILE PACE
DESTINY'S ANGEL - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
ATOMIC - a rein burr was removed prior to the start due to warming up unfavourably. Broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Over-raced early stages. Broke again passing the 450m losing all chance. A warning was also placed on the racing record of the filly. Driver T Williams advised he would be recommending gear changes prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
HOPPY'S SMILE - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver S Tomlinson advised the filly had raced without luck two starts ago at Ashburton. Miss Tomlinson added the horse may not have backed up at its most recent start and had received an economical run today.
CANDY CRUNCH - hung outwards and broke after 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
SEMPER DENARIO - raced wide from the 750m. Weakened early in the run home.
TATTOOED LADY - held up early in the run home.
MISS WOODVILLE - raced wide early.
BEAUTIFUL CRAZY - lay inwards final bend losing ground.
MOSSDALE MARIE - raced wide from the 750m. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Hope could offer no explanation and was disappointed with the effort. Mr Hope added he would consider sending the filly for a spell.
HEAVENS ARE HEAVING - weakened final bend.
EL DRAEGO - raced wide early. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
SADIE - back from the unruly position at the start. Broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Starter D Gaffaney was spoken to advisedly in regard to the speed of the mobile early in the score up.
Race 6   JD AT PROPERTY BROKERS TROT
VAL THORENS - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up early in the run home.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer K James.
DRAGONHILL - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
SOLEMN SON - broke at the start losing all chance.
SEE NO EVIL - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke again near the 1500m losing all chance.
ONNAHILL - slow in the early stages losing ground. Weakened in the run home.
Race 7   KYLE CAMERON HARNESS RACING MOBILE PACE
ROYAL BELLE - junior driver D Williams (assisted by S Tomlinson) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
TROUBLESHOOTER - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
ZEUS - raced wide with cover from the 700m.
HERE COMES MARTY - raced wide early.
TALLANDFAST - raced wide early.
ROVERT DECISION - held up final bend and early in the run home.

Race 9   ROYAL ASPIRATIONS "FRESH OFF AN ADDINGTON TRIFECTA" TROT
The start was delayed due to the gear on JUST FOR TODAY requiring attention.
MORRIE AFTON - held up final bend and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MANAKAU BLAZE - late scratching at 10.19am due to transport difficulties.
MONARO DEAN - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 10   AUTO CAR WASH WAIMAK JUNCTION MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to the boring pole on UNICO REALTA requiring attention.

LONGVIEW TUI - driver S Ottley was spoken to advisedly regarding the starting procedures when circling in the pre-race formation.
