Race 7 - HRS CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
Co-trainer D White advised Stewards on 18 August that blood tests taken from OUR HARMONY following its last start revealed no abnormalities. Mr White added that they would be making gear changes and continue with the filly's current preparation.

Race 3 - JOHNSON PANEL & PAINT MOBILE PACE
Junior driver T Borcoskie (BETTER MAN) assisted by R Holmes, defended a breach of Rule 868(2) in that he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to win or obtain the best possible placing by not utilising the passing lane when an opportunity existed in the run home resulting in his horse being held up. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from all parties, the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Borcoskie's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 23 August up to and including 13 September 2026 (6 days).

ZOOM X - lay inwards near the 1450m striking a track marker. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Struck the track marker prior to the passing lane. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised she was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days. Miss Ottley was issued a warning for contacting the final track marker prior to the passing lane.
GATECRASHER - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
RAKERO JOHN - raced wide early.
MELTON MAGNATE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
TOMOGALAK - raced wide from the 650m.

SHEEP - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.

KNOWING ME - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance, with trailing runners being hampered when obliged to shift outwards and race to the outside of this runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Driver P Davis was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to take his breaking runner clear of the field when the opportunity presented itself.
BULLET - late scratching at 9.59am on Veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.

ROSA SHARD - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver O Thornley advised that the filly was unsuited to racing in the parked position.
COURAGE MACHETE - lay inwards and lost ground final bend.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD 'ALL STAR FIVE' HANDICAP TROT
ONE EL - lay outwards through the middle stages. Shifted outwards near the 500m and struck the sulky wheel of THE ROYAL GAMBLE, resulting in ONE EL's near-side foreleg becoming momentarily caught in the top of the sulky stay with the gelding breaking as a consequence, losing ground. Driver C DeFilippi admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly at this stage of the race and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
BRETT'S MATE - driver K Cameron was issued a warning for using his whip with his foot removed from the sulky footrest in the early stages.
THE ROYAL GAMBLE - lay inwards leaving the final bend and in the run home.
PARIS PRINCE - raced wide from the 750m.

THE VISIONARY - hung inwards in the run home when attempting to shift wider on the track to obtain clear running.
OUR HERCULES - weakened final bend.
DOLLAR BILL - inclined to lay outwards at various stages throughout the running.
Race 6   NEVELE R FILLIES SERIES (HEAT 1) MOBILE PACE
CHEER UP N DANCE - paced roughly early stages.
QUEEN LIZZY - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised she was slightly disappointed with the effort however it was the filly's first start back after a spell and would derive benefit from the race. Miss Ottley defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging she drove carelessly when shifting ground inwards near the 1250m when insufficiently clear of SONG OF SEAS (R May) which had to be restrained and losing its position. After considering the evidence presented by all parties and reviewing the incident from all available camera angles, the Adjudicative Committee was not satisfied that the charge had been established to the required standard and accordingly dismissed the charge.
SONG OF SEAS - over-raced middle stages. Had to be restrained by driver R May near the 1250m when placed in restricted room by QUEEN LIZZY (S Ottley) losing its position as a consequence. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
Race 7   TYRE GENERAL BASIL DEAN FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE TROT)
RACHMANINOV - weakened from the 800m.
GEORGE ELIOT - lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.
MOSES - weakened leaving the final bend.
MIDNIGHT DASH - held up final bend and early in the run home.
MR LOVE - trotted roughly in the run home.
Race 8   ALLIED SECURITY MAURICE HOLMES VASE (HANDICAP PACE)
WILD WILLOW - driver J Cox admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Cox's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 23 August up to and including 4 September 2026 (3 days).
BETTORS ANVIL - weakened from the 1100m and was retired from the race shortly after. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
DREAMS ARE FREE - broke at the start losing ground. Held up for clear racing room late in the run home.
TACT MCLEOD - tangled away.
Race 9   TOUCHDOWN CAR RENTALS RISING STARS FINAL (MOBILE PACE)
RAZOR HORIZON - weakened leaving the final bend.
RAKERO MAXIMUS - raced wide early. Weakened from the 600m.

CRUSHER LOU - broke in the score up hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

EUN SOGNO - raced wide early.
AMARETTO FRANCO - the required veterinary clearance was received.
BRYCE'S MEDDLE - hampered early in the score up. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 859(3)(a) alleging the gelding had started in advance of its correct barrier position on the second line. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver J Dunn, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and BRYCE'S MEDDLE was disqualified from 10th placing and declared a late scratching. After taking into account all of the circumstances surrounding the incident and considering the matter in its entirety, Stewards determined that no further action was warranted against Mr Dunn.
BEACHBREAK - hampered early in the score up. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 859(3)(a) alleging the gelding had started in advance of its correct barrier position on the second line. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and driver T Williams, the Adjudicative Committee upheld the protest and BEACHBREAK was disqualified from 8th placing and declared a late scratching. After taking into account all of the circumstances surrounding the incident and considering the matter in its entirety, Stewards determined that no further action was warranted against Mr Williams.

KOWHAI STAR - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver S Ottley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
COMMANDER BEN - Stewards opened and adjourned an investigation into the manner in which Driver H Douglas used his whip in the run home.
