SKEE PRINCESS - pre-race warmed. Held up throughout the run home.
MANCHESTER'S MOMENT - lay inwards early in the run home and shifted down into the passing lane briefly but was immediately corrected.
SHESGOLD - raced wide early before being steadied to the rear.
HILL BILLIE BUNDY - back from position throughout the score up despite the efforts of Driver P Ferguson. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Commenced to improve wide from the 1100m. Forced four wide briefly approaching the 950m before racing wide with cover thereafter.
SO MYSTIFYING - pre-race warmed. Raced wide from the 1000m.
Race 2   LINCOLN FARMS HERE FOR THE HORSE MOBILE PACE
OLYMPIC KO - paced roughly near the 1850m when racing wide before crossing to the parked position near the 1500m.
FRANCO MIKI - raced wide with cover early and then wide without cover from the 1500m. Weakened leaving the final turn.
CATHY FREEMAN - late scratching at 12.22pm on veterinary advice.
OHOKA ACHILLES - held up briefly rounding the final turn.
MIKI MIRAGE - over-raced middle stages.
TASI AHNAU - lay inwards leaving the final turn.
Race 3   NZHAT CELEBRATING 10 YRS 10 AMBULANCES HCP TROT
YEAH NAH - gave ground rounding the final turn.
STINA BLACKSTENIUS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
STEP BY STEP - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
IM A ROCKSTAR - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground.
MAJESTIC WHIZDOM - mixed its gait briefly on several occasions over the early stages losing ground.
VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - Driver S Abernethy reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
TIKI - held up throughout the run home with Driver A Pyers not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
EYES TO HEAVEN - lay inwards rounding the first turn contacting track markers.
Race 4   WOODLANDS STUD HERE FOR THE HORSE 2YO MOBILE PACE
JOLI GARCON - over-raced middle stages.
LEON GALLEON - over-raced briefly and had to be steadied off the back of DONTGETMESTARTED near the 1100m.
DINO - raced wide early when being restrained to the rear but was then taken forward to lead near the 1050m.
Race 5   GOBBLE & GO SUPPORTING THE NZHAT HANDICAP TROT
SCOOTS - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the home straight.
CHESINOV - slow to begin losing ground.
STASH THE CASH - pre-race warmed.
KISS MY PIXEL - held up throughout the run home.
KENNY HILL - when questioned regarding the performance Driver C Hackett advised she could offer no reason for what she considered to be a disappointing run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
LUCA - pre-raced warmed. Raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Unable to be driven out over the final stages due to trotting roughly.
Race 6   DE MELLO COSTA & IVANOW FAMILY SUPPORTS NZHAT MOB PACE
RAVENS SHADOW - lay in rounding the first turn and broke passing the 1800m checking a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
NEVER WRONG - lost contact with the body of the field entering the back straight the first time. Broke near the 1000m when trailing the field losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
COPY TEN FOUR - raced wide early.
CEE WHATABET - checked by a breaking runner near the 1800m and paced roughly for several strides.
TERE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 7   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS SIRES STAKES 2YO FILLIES HEAT 1 MOB PACE
PEBBLES - over-raced briefly middle stages. Weakened leaving the final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer/Driver S Phelan advised that he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a grade 3 heart murmur. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
LATHERED IN LOVE - over-raced through the front straight the first time when being steadied to take cover.
BELLE BIDDY - raced wide early.
AS ONE WISHES - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the home straight.
Race 8   TARDINA STUD HERE FOR THE HORSE MOBILE PACE
SHOWTYM GIRL - held up final turn and throughout the run home with Driver N Chilcott not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
COLONEL LINCOLN - raced wide early.
Race 9   SOUTHERN BRED SOUTHERN REARED SUPPORTS NZHAT HCP PACE
The start was delayed at the first attempt with the field being turned out of line after the Starter was not satisfied with how the unruly horses on the front addressed the barrier.
UPSTAGE - tangled away for several strides at the start.
LEO LINCOLN - commenced to over-race middle stages before being taken out to improve wide passing the 800m.
BLAZING LOUIE - lay inwards despite the efforts of Driver N Chilcott contacting track markers near the 450m resulting in two markers being dislodged with one contacting DAVE DULEY and then Driver B Butcher (TWISTA).
AMERICAN ME - held up final turn and until passing the 100m. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver M White reported that he was satisfied with the effort after having started from the 40m handicap but had been unable to make up much ground with the fast closing sectionals recorded.
Race 10   DIAMOND RACING STABLES SUPPORTING NZHAT HANDICAP TROT
WHATEVER IT TAKES - tangled away for several strides at the start.
YA EEJIT YA - over-raced middle stages.
STONE COLD - lay inwards approaching the 200m when attempting to shift out off the back of TATANKA with Driver S Abernethy then electing to shift back to the inside of TATANKA however was held up over the final stages when unable to obtain clear racing room. When questioned Mr Abernethy confirmed that the gelding had been on the outside rein leaving the final turn and had lost momentum so he felt it was his best option to shift back down the track to attempt to improve however this resulted in the gelding being held up over the final stages. Trainer J Teaz advised that he was surprised that STONE COLD was so well supported in the market given its recent form and it was his intention to restrict this runner to right handed racing for the immediate future. Stewards noted the circumstances and respective comments and took the matter no further.
REDPARK WARRIOR - tangled away for several strides at the start.
LORD POPINJAY - weakened leaving the final turn.
Race 11   NI TRAINERS & DRIVERS ASSOCIATION SUPPORTING NZHAT MOB PACE
MARA - Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into the manner in which Driver D Ferguson used his whip shortly after the start. Lay outwards in the run home and shifted wider.
SEA THE CASH - raced wide early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear near the 1100m. Lay inwards near the 300m contacting a track marker.
B ENVIOUS - Driver J Stormont reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
KING TIDE - raced wide with cover early and middle stages before obtaining a position in the running line towards the rear.
AMARETTO DELIGHT - back from position throughout the score up despite the efforts of Driver N Chilcott. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
