| Junior driver R Harrison (I'M ROCKIN) assisted by J Dunn, was issued a warning for allowing her runner to strike the sulky wheel of CAUGHT THE EYE early in the run home. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful there had been no consequential effects as a result. |

Mr Dunn advised he elected not to shift wider near the 1300m due to the solid tempo of the race and that the gelding is unsuited to racing parked. Mr Dunn further advised that after obtaining clear racing room early in the run home the horse had failed to respond to his urgings and had only battled over the concluding stages. Stewards noted Mr Dunn's comments. | |

| GEORGE ELIOT - Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1000m after GEORGE ELIOT raced wider on the track when PORT PEGASUS shifted ground outwards. After viewing the replays it was established that driver J Morrison (PORT PEGASUS) had commenced his outwards movement prior to GEORGE ELIOT reaching his sulky wheel and accordingly Stewards took the matter no further. | |
