Race 4 - CLC CONSTRUCTION COND HANDICAP TROT
Driver S Abernethy (VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO) defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(e) in that he drove in a foul manner by shifting his mare outwards early in the run home when not entitled to do so, checking CHESINOV (L Chin) which lost its opportunity to contest for its best possible finishing position; or in the alternative Rule 869(3)(f) - in that he drove improperly by shifting his mare out early in the run home when not entitled to do so, checking CHESINOV (L Chin) which lost its opportunity to contest for its best possible finishing position. After hearing the relative evidence from Stewards, Mr Abernethy, Dr L Chin (CHESINOV) and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee reserved their decision.
