FIERY ADI - trotted roughly in the score up and broke prior to the start losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
STAR INVASION - trotted roughly throughout the run home losing ground.
Race 2   LEADER BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
LUXMI - raced wide early. Over-raced when being restrained to take cover near the 1100m.
HERB - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1000m.
BY CHANCE - briefly held up early in the run home.

BAUTISTA - raced wide early. Held up rounding the final bend.

Race 4   DIAMOND CREEK FARM / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE MOBILE TROT
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed.
DELPHYNE - driver N Williamson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
XERION - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
TO THE MOON AND BACK - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
KRACKA LOOKA - trotted roughly at stages throughout.
BECKY'S GIRL - when questioned regarding the tactics he adopted driver M Williamson advised that after drawing wide he sat back on a solid early pace. He further advised he did not want to improve wide and risk being pushed even wider on the track adding he was hoping the runners in front of him would give him a drag into the race however this did not eventuate. He therefore elected to leave his run until the final bend when he was forced to race wide. Mr Williamson further added that he was pleased with the way his inexperienced filly had raced. Stewards noted the comments.
EMILY - trainer K Green was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards to the sulky. Lay out in the straights.
Race 5   DIAMOND CREEK FARM / SBSR SOUTHERN SURGE MOBILE PACE
MOON LIGHT TERROR - paced roughly rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners losing ground. Hung out on the bends throughout.
SWAHILI - raced wide early.
MACH A WISH - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend. Driver B Williamson was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion leaving the final bend.
HUNGRY BRONNIE - hampered rounding the first bend. Raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
FEARTHEDANCE - hampered rounding the first bend. Raced three wide without cover from the 1400m.
MIGHTY DELIGHT - hampered rounding the first bend. Raced three wide with cover from the 1300m.
RAKATURBO - raced wide through the middle stages.

NEK DELIGHT - raced wide early.
JAY JAY DENARIO - held up early stages of the run home.
MONEY IN THE TILL - raced wide early.
GINERVA - held up final bend.
SANTIAGO - driver T Larsen admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500.
CAPTAIN DASH - raced wide final bend.
HONEYCOMB - held up throughout the run home.
RYLAN CHARLIE - held up for the majority of the final straight only obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - declared a late scratching at 3.57pm on veterinary advice after showing signs of lameness in the preliminary. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.

The start was delayed approximately 2 minutes due to RAKAVENOM requiring a change of sulky.
RAKAVENOM - weakened over the concluding stages.
