Race 1   HARNESS EDUCATION & HEALTH TRUST JUNIOR DRIVERS MOB PACE
TIPSTAR - broke in the score up but soon settled and was in position at the start. Lay inwards striking a track marker near the 400m. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
COSMIC STAR - weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver H Moralde Sands was issued a warning for using her whip on a runner out of contention.
BAILEYS PITCH - weakened final bend.
JAHI - over-raced in the early stages when wide on the track. Driver K Denifostova was issued a warning for crowding an inside runner shortly after the start. Miss Denifostova was also spoken to advisedly for the manner in which she shifted ground near the 600m briefly hampering a trailing runner.
COMMANDER LINCOLN - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
MESSENGER BUOY - raced wide early.
MIKI MIRAGE - briefly hampered near the 600m. Lay inwards and broke near the 250m briefly hampering a trailing runner losing ground before settling.
CYAMATE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - Driver N Delany was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and outside the sulky confines on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.

SHARDS AVATAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 100m.
FLEUR DE LIS - over-raced middle stages.
KC'S PRINCESS - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Broke again near the 800m when trailing the field. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
POPPYS JEWEL - broke in the early stages losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
IRON ROSE - broke near the 100m hampering trailing runners and failed to settle. Cast a bell boot in the run home. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the mare had broken in excess of 50m in the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and IRON ROSE was disqualified by Stewards.
MISS KAWAII - raced wide early. Trotted roughly at various stages throughout losing ground and trailed the field.
SHARP N SMOOTH - hampered by a breaking runner near the 100m.
MONEY MAYWEATHER - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
NORMAN THE CONQUEROR - raced wide early. Weakened near the 600m.
SWIFT - pre-race warmed. Broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Broke again in the run home when trailing the field.
Race 3   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY NON-WIN MOBILE PACE
GLORIA STEINEM - weakened leaving the final bend.
CANNED HEAT - raced wide early. Checked near the 900m losing ground.
THE MIKI TAKER - checked near the 900m losing ground. Held up early in the run home.
UNDER ARREST - checked near the 900m losing ground.
LOVE IT - checked near the 900m losing all chance.
ARRIGO - when questioned regarding the improved performance Driver M White advised the horse had benefitted from a gear change with having blinds on tonight and had received an economical run with cover throughout.
ARTISTIC ROCK - required assistance from an Attendant and the Clerk Of The Course prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke in the early stages of the score up losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 900m with ARTISTIC ROCK (M Hay) locking wheels with RAVENS SHADOW (K Coppins) resulting in both drivers being dislodged from their respective sulkies with trailing runners being checked to varying degrees. Both drivers were examined by St John personnel with Mr Hay being cleared to fulfill his remaining driving engagements. Miss Coppins was stood down from her remaining driving engagements due to injury and transferred to Waikato Hospital for further assessment. Miss Coppins is required to supply a medical clearance prior to resuming driving. ARTISTIC ROCK was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination of both horses revealed no abnormalities.
Race 4   TFS HORSE TRANSPORT SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS HANDICAP TROT
TRIFOLIUM - tangled away.
TIKI - broke approaching the first bend losing all chance.
AND REMEMBER ME - weakened rounding the final bend.
PRESIDENT FLYNNTIN - C Hackett was an authorised driver change replacing K Coppins. Lay inwards rounding the bends.
SON OF PATRICK - slow in the early stages losing considerable ground.
Race 5   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
SEA THE CASH - over-raced middle stages.
SEASIDE CHARLIE - lay inwards at various stages throughout.
BIG WHEELS - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
TAYLOR MADE - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home. When questioned regarding the tactics adopted Driver M White advised that after initially improving three wide near the 500m SEASIDE CHARLIE had shifted outwards ahead of him, however failed to progress forward in the three wide line resulting in his runner being held up. Stewards noted Mr White's comments.
WYNBERG BELLE - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
Race 6   DAILY DOUBLE HANDICAP TROT
SCOOTS - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
EYES TO HEAVEN - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
WHATEVER IT TAKES - broke passing the 400m losing all chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the near fore pastern which was treated.
KAWARAU LIL - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke near the 300m losing all chance.
SANTAPAZIENZA - broke at the start losing ground. Driver R Downey admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
NIAMH - Driver T Mitchell was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 7   HOARDING SIGNS AVAILABLE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOB PACE
ON THE MARK - lay outwards throughout the run home.
BRUNO BRIGADE - over-raced middle stages.
OLYMPIC KO - held up final bend and throughout the run home with Driver S Abernethy not activating the removable deafeners in consequence.
DEBRIEF - raced wide with cover throughout.
AMARETTO DELIGHT - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
HEAVEN HIGH - raced wide with cover throughout. Driver O Gillies admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion rounding the final bend and in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Gillies' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 7 August 2026 (3 days).
WALTZING WITH MIKI - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Raced wide with cover throughout.
MIDFREW LUCRE - raced wide without cover throughout. Weakened final bend.
SHOWTYM GIRL - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND SILK ROAD F & M FINAL MOBILE TROT
SKEE PRINCESS - pre-race warmed. Crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend.
BRIENNE - trotted roughly and broke near the 850m losing ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing all chance. Connections advised the mare cast the near fore shoe during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - Driver H Moralde Sands was issued a warning for crowding an inside runner racing into the first bend.
KISS MY PIXEL - raced three wide with cover in the early and middle stages before being forced to race four wide from the 800m.
ELIZABETH HILL - pre-race warmed. Raced wide throughout. Driver D Butcher was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion in the run home.
TINKERBELLE - held up final bend.
SANS AU REVOIR - raced four wide with cover from the 600m.
HILL BILLIE BUNDY - raced wide early and middle stages.
MAD MARY - raced wide early. Driver C Hackett was issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
Race 9   STALLION EXPO 25TH JULY AT BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE
BIG HERB - over-raced middle stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
SECRET BEACH - raced wide throughout.
KINGS WATCH - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1100m. Driver T Mitchell admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500.
LOUEZYANA - held up for the majority of the run home.
BLAZING LOUIE - over-raced middle stages.
ULTIMATE CULLECT - lay outwards throughout the run home when attempting to utilise the passing lane.
VILLAGE REBEL - held up throughout the run home.
Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the photo finish for 3rd placing along with Judge T Thompson who amended his initial call by declaring a dead heat between CHANEL NOIRE and HOORAY HENRY.
Race 10   SKYLINE LOUNGE OPEN ALL RACE NIGHTS HANDICAP TROT
PARAMOUNT SPUR - pre-raced warmed. Lay outwards approaching the 600m which enabled the trailing STONE COLD to improve to its inside. Lay inwards throughout the run home and shifted down into the passing lane over the final stages. Driver J Dickie was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home in future. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections and was treated for muscle tie up.
YA EEJIT YA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
LUCA - C Hackett was an authorised driver change replacing K Coppins. Broke rounding the final bend losing all chance.
FERDINAND - broke at the start losing all chance.
STONE COLD - Driver S Abernethy was issued a warning for starting wider on the track than his allocated position.
REGAL GIRL - late scratching at 8:17 am on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
Race 11   2026 - 2027 RACING SEASON DATES OUT NOW MOBILE PACE
OHOKA ACHILLES - weakened rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner. Driver O Gillies reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre during the running. Mr Gillies was spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove rounding the final bend when MIKI'S MOMENT became awkwardly placed close to his sulky.
THE LAST YARN - Driver A Poutama reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to the clip breaking.
MIKI'S MOMENT - over-raced middle stages and struck the sulky wheel of OHOKA ACHILLES near the 700m despite the efforts of Driver D Ferguson. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Continued to over-race rounding the final bend and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of OHOKA ACHILLES which was weakening.
CALL SECURITY - over-raced in the score up. Briefly hampered near the 700m. Held up for the majority of the run home.
REET PETITE - raced wide from the 750m.
DEAR GOD - raced wide early. Briefly hampered near the 700m.
