BLAZE CRAZE - paced roughly in the score up. Held up early in the run home.
SANTIAGO - over-raced for a distance near the 600m.
GUNSLINGER WILLY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ST PADDY - lay in at various stages throughout the run home.
CAROLAN QUESTRO - over-raced middle stages.
Race 2   CONGRATULATIONS MEMBERS WINNER "LESTER COOK" TROT
MONTARA - broke after 100m losing ground. Held up final bend. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
TAMSIN TROUBLE - broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ASPIRING BEAUTY - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of connections.
FERNANDO - broke at the start losing all chance.
THE ARISTOCRAT - hung inwards final bend striking and dislodging track markers.
HONEST WAL - broke passing the 1000m losing ground. Broke again near the 500m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

HARRY'S GIRL - weakened in the run home.
CAPTAIN KIWI - weakened in the run home.
WHATA IMPACT - co-trainers G & B Hope were issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified pacifier which was fitted prior to the start.
TOMOGALAK - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DELIGHTFUL BESS - late scratching at 9.27am on Veterinary advice.
NIKOLAI RAY - raced wide early.
EASTON DOLL - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1300m. Over-raced middle stages.

VERONIQUE - held up final bend.
PLUTONIUM BOY - briefly lay out on the bend near the 900m. Held up leaving the final bend.
CHILLI GOLD - raced wide early. Driver C Markham advised that his left sulky tyre deflated shortly after the start.

ONE EL - lay in leaving the final bend and early in the run home. Again lay in over the concluding stages.
BRETT'S MATE - held up middle stages of the run home.
RACHMANINOV - weakened in the run home.
GEORGE ELIOT - trotted roughly rounding the first bend. Lay in and became awkwardly placed near the sulky of RACHMANINOV near the 1100m. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 70m.
TYRON EROS - broke in the run home hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
Race 7   HILL, LEE & SCOTT CANTERBURY SILK ROAD FINAL (MOB PACE)
OKIWI BAY - lay in at various stages throughout.
LOUS PINUP GIRL - held up rounding the final bend. Again held up early and middle stages of the run home.
LILAC LUXURY - held up early in the run home.
ARINITTI - over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MOLLY MAEVE ESTELLE - lay in at various stages throughout and contacted several track markers near the 1000m. When questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised that the mare had been hanging on the bends and she would be recommending gear changes.
Race 8   LATHER UP - WORLD CLASS SIRE, REAL WORLD VALUE MOBILE PACE
FRANCO LOMU - held up final bend.
COMMANDER JOE - driver H Douglas advised he sustained a punctured sulky tyre rounding the final bend. Stewards spoke with junior drivers D Williams (KOWHAI STAR), assisted by S Tomlinson and H Douglas (COMMANDER JOE) regarding this incident and after hearing their explanations, Stewards issued a charge against Miss Williams, alleging she drove carelessly when shifting ground near the 400m and striking the sulky wheel of COMMANDER JOE which punctured. Miss Williams admitted the charge and after viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
TABASCO - raced wide early.
SEASIDE BRUCIE - over-raced middle stages.
KOWHAI STAR - held up early in the run home.
Race 9   AVON CITY FORD HANDICAP PACE
COMMANDER BEN - broke at the start losing ground.
BLACK MACH - trainer K Barron was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified and were removed prior to the start. Broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SCRUNCH - driver R Harrison advised she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MALAKAI - paced roughly over the concluding stages. Driver R May was spoken to for the manner in which he drove leaving the final bend after his horse shifted outwards. Mr May explained that the gelding had shifted outwards when unsuccessfully attempting to activate the removable deafeners with his foot before he was able to activate this gear at his second attempt. Stewards noted Mr May's comments and reminded him of his obligations to ensure he does not allow his runner to shift wider on the track at this stage of the race.
ESMERALDA - broke in the run home losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
J T BOE - pre-race warmed. Slow in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner at the start.

WHYAMIHERE - held up leaving the final bend.
