Race 1   MID-WINTER XMAS DINING 17, 24 & 31 JULY BOOK NOW MOB PACE
LONGVIEW TUI - held up final bend and again late in the run home.
TOUCH N GO - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
ESTER LUCY - held up final bend and early in the run home.
GIMMESOMELOVIN - raced wide from the 1250m.
FEAR GOGH - held up early in the run home.
BRONSKI - became awkwardly placed to the inside of LONGVIEW TUI near the 1700m having to be steadied.
Race 2   AVON CITY FORD TROT
VELOCIS - began awkwardly. Trainer/driver C Butt reported the filly had been making abnormal respiratory noises during the running. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no abnormalities other than a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MOONLIGHT GAZER - broke briefly shortly after the start.
MARIKIT - lay in leaving the final bend and throughout the run home.
TYRON EVEREST - placed in restricted room by an outside runner rounding the final bend.
RADIANT - weakened final bend and trotted roughly in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities other than a high respiratory rate.
B D VOLTIC - trotted roughly in the early stages. Lay inwards and struck track markers near the 2100m and continued to race greenly for some distance. Lay inwards rounding the final bend placing an inside runner in restricted room.
TAMSIN TROUBLE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
DAZZLED - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
GIMME THREE STEPS - broke near the 650m losing ground. Broke again in the run home losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on two occasions prior to resuming.
Race 3   ITALIAN THEMED TRACKSIDE DINING 19 JUNE BOOK NOW MOBILE PACE
SCOTLYNN FORTRESS - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
TUPPENCE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up early in the run home.
MIDSUMMER DREAMING - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
THE GANGSTER - driver P Davis was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
ULTIMATE DREAMER - briefly placed in restricted room near the 150m when inside runners shifted outwards marginally.

SADIE - broke after 100m losing ground.
HEAVENS ARE HEAVING - paced roughly shortly after the start.
ALWAYS B MINDFUL - slow to begin. Raced wide with cover from the 800m.
MAJOR MISS - paced roughly at the start losing ground. Raced greenly near the 900m having to be steadied hampering a trailing runner.
PRETTYBOYNITE - hampered and raced wide from the 900m.
EASTWOOD COMMANDER - held up rounding the final bend.
TITAN - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
LIBRICI - broke after 100m losing ground. Held up near the 150m.
BABY COME BACK - hampered by a breaking runner over the early stages. Raced wide with cover from the 800m before being forced to race four wide from the 600m. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

PRINCE TEKA - weakened final bend.
TERRY WEBSTER - raced wide with cover from the 800m.
SWITCH ON - broke near the 700m losing all chance.
OUR PINOCCHIO - forced to race wide from the 850m. Weakened final bend.
MONARCH PRINCE - raced wide early and over-raced when being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
SILVESTER - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide from the 800m. Weakened final bend.
NOAH MAGNIFIC - raced wide with cover from the 800m. Weakened final bend.

ULTIMATE PERFECTION - over-raced early stages. Held up final bend.

DEAL BREAKER - broke briefly at the start.
TEE BALL - driver S O'Reilly advised she did not activate the sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
NORMIE STEAD - tangled away. Held up in the middle stages of the run home. Driver R Harrison advised she was unable to activate the hopple shorteners after becoming entangled.
CLASSIE LINC - fractious prior to the start.
CARLIN - broke briefly at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
THE BETTOR MAJOR - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
AUNTIE DEB - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide from the 700m.
STYLE COUNCIL - held up early in the run home. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
TEMPO WARRIOR - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
Race 8   MATARIKI TRACKSIDE DINING 10 JULY BOOK NOW MOBILE PACE
HUGO - hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Driver J Dunn was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted when electing to shift outwards near the 650m. Mr Dunn advised that when he shifted outwards the one out line had commenced to improve and he elected to follow the improving DAWN TO DARK into the race however simultaneously BETTERWITHBLING shifted inwards to the three wide line resulting in him becoming held up behind the weakening MOONLITE CC. After hearing from Mr Dunn and viewing the replays, Stewards were satisfied that his explanation was not unreasonable at the time.
MR CASH MAN - raced wide early.
BETTERWITHBLING - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1700m. Lay inwards when being shifted inwards in the run home resulting in an inside runner being hampered.
VERDUCCI - broke early in the score up however was in position at the start.
MOONLITE CC - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery.
SALUTE - over-raced early stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R May advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
DONTTELLTHEBOYS - hampered by an outside runner late in the run home.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS TROT
NIGHT LIFE - slow to begin. Checked and broke near the 450m losing all chance.
WHATS UP THE HILL - broke then paced at the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ROBO TROUBLE - tangled away.
LIPSTICK - broke after 100m losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m.
CHOCOLATE ANGUS - checked by a breaking runner near the 450m losing all chance.
KD GRINS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 450m.
SPANISH PRINCESS - broke near the 450m checking CHOCOLATE ANGUS, PAT BENATAR and NIGHT LIFE and hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ONNAHILL - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
PAT BENATAR - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Checked by a breaking runner near the 450m losing all chance.

HAIL MARY - trotted roughly and broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 10   BOOK NOW MID-WINTER TRACKSIDE DINING 7 & 14 AUGUST MOB PACE
MELTON ENFORCER - weakened rounding the final bend.
AR GEE RULZ - lay inwards in the early stages having to be straightened. Placed in restricted room racing into the first bend when an outside runner shifted inwards.
BELMONT VALOR - raced wide early. Over-raced when being restrained to obtain cover near the 1400m.
STAR ON THE ROCKS - shifted inwards racing into the first bend placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver S Thornley was issued a warning.
MATAI HARRY - raced wide early.
KIRKMAN - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Lay inwards and struck track markers near the 1100m. Weakened final bend.
SHARE A DREAM - the anti-choke device broke at the start. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition. Raced wide early.
