Race 1   WOODLANDS STUD - THE FUTURE IS SWEET MOBILE PACE
ROUTE SIXTY SIX - held up final bend and early in the run home. Shifted outwards near the 150m resulting in an outside runner being checked. Driver W House was issued a warning to exercise more care when shifting ground.
BETTOR OFF - forced wider on the track near the 150m checking an outside runner.
HEAVEN - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MAJOR HAPPY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
BERRETTINI - checked by an inside runner near the 150m.
Race 2   LAMB & HAYWARD MOBILE PACE
SUZY FRANCO - broke in the score up losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
THE CAPTAINS LADY - lay outwards under pressure rounding the final bend and paced roughly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3   GALLAGHER INSURANCE MOBILE TROT
JET STREAM - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver A Clark advised the gelding had trotted roughly and lost the off front shoe during the running.
FATHER MIKE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Williamson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BIRDY - hampered leaving the final bend.
SILVERLININGS - hampered leaving the final bend.
FRANCO JOSIAH - weakened from the 500m.
DASH DOSH - lay inwards leaving the final bend hampering inside runners.
Race 4   ANY EXCUSE FOR A BUBBLES MOBILE PACE
FRANCO LOMU - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised the gelding had lost momentum after being held up behind the weakening CRUNCHED.
LADY TYRON - weakened in the run home.
LOUS PINUP GIRL - held up early in the run home.
CRUNCHED - weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the gelding had to work too hard in the early stages with the effort taking its toll.
TAUMUTU LAD - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver S O'Reilly advised she did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 5   EVENT PROFESSIONALS NZ TROT
The start was delayed due to BRIANNA being fractious with all runners being turned out of line. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - hung inwards and struck track markers rounding the first bend with one being dislodged.
SON E - broke at the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - over-raced in the parked position.
DORNISH HILL - broke at the start losing all chance and was retired from the race. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of connections.
TESSAMAE - broke after 100m losing ground. Hung inwards near the 1100m striking track markers. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - permission was granted for the gelding to race without the notified Pacifier after this gear had broken in the stabling area. Broke after jumping a dislodged track marker rounding the first bend losing all chance.
Race 6   COMMODORE HOTEL MOBILE PACE
LAST HONOURS - held up early in the run home.
LIST N SELL - paced roughly early in the run home. Driver C Ferguson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
POSEIDON - over-raced middle stages.
RISE N SHINE - over-raced early stages.
Race 7   PASCOES THE JEWELLERS SILK ROAD FINAL (MOB PACE)
A false start was declared after LILAC LUXURY broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. Driver R Close elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
LILAC LUXURY - weakened from the 700m hampering trailing runners.
RENA - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
MOLLY MAEVE ESTELLE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
CHERISH ME - the murphy blind was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably. Raced wide early.
ELEKTRA KING - late scratching at 12.16pm on Veterinary advice.
Race 8   TOUCHDOWN CAR RENTALS HANDICAP PACE
SEMBA - broke at the start and again shortly after losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOONLITE BLOOD - over-raced early stages. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R May advised he did not activate the sliding blinds in consequence.
DOUBLE TIME - late scratching at 4.49pm on Veterinary advice.
ROCK BAND - over-raced middle stages.
RENEGADE - broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
DA VINCI - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
Race 9   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
TEMPO WARRIOR - over-raced middle stages.
PROSPERITY - when questioned regarding the performance trainer M Purvis advised the gelding was having its first run for one month and had been unable to make ground due to the fast closing sectionals and would derive benefit from the race.
MOSTERT - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the race was a step up in grade from previous starts and after settling at the rear of the field he was pleased with the manner in which the gelding had finished off the race after racing wide rounding the final bend and the fast closing sectionals.
COMMANDER JOE - raced wide from the 800m.
PRINCESS LISA - held up early in the run home.
I'M ROCKIN - over-raced middle stages.
