Race 1   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND SILK ROAD F & M HEAT 1 MOB PACE
RIVERGIRL BELLA - raced wide early.
TWIST AND TANGO - shifted out under pressure passing the 100m despite the efforts of driver S Phelan briefly hampering an outside runner.
ALWAYS BE KIND - hampered briefly passing the 100m by an inside runner.
Race 2   SKYLINE OPEN RACE NIGHTS MOBILE PACE
IM ALL IN - weakened final bend.
LIFE LESS ORDINARY - raced five wide briefly near the 500m.
CAPTAINS SECRET - broke entering the first bend after contacting the sulky wheel of MESSENGER BUOY losing ground. When questioned regarding the incident driver A Butt advised that after having lay in approaching the bend his gelding had then shifted out marginally when being corrected and contributed to the contact occuring. Given the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further.
ADJOURNMENT - raced wide early.
HE'S TOUGH - weakened final bend.
Race 3   CLUBHOUSE SPORTS BAR MOBILE PACE
MAJOR COPY - had to be steadied off the back of AROSE entering the first bend. Over-raced middle stages. Lay in over the final 100m having to be corrected.
S S GUPPY - raced wide early. Paced roughly rounding the final bend.
CRUISE DIRECTOR - paced roughly over the early stages losing ground. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
FRANCO SETH - broke early in the score up but was in position at the candy pole.
LOVE IT - lay in contacting a track marker approaching the 250m. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 4   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared at the first attempt due to SHES ALL LEGS being reluctant to turn into line with VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO then lunging forward on to the 30m tape.
REBEL CASTLETON - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
UKRANOVA - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SHRED N BURN - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TIZOURS - held up final bend. Trotted roughly approaching the 50m having to be steadied.
VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - broke rounding the first bend losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Weakened from the 700m.
KAMILLA - broke at the start losing ground. Lost further ground early when having to take evasive action to avoid breaking runners. Broke entering the first bend losing all chance.
LEVI - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
BRASS RAZOO - pre-race warmed.
BROTHER JOHNSON - trotted roughly in the run home.
Race 5   WAIKATO RACING AGAIN FRIDAY 19 JUNE, 3,17 & 31 JULY MOB PACE
The start was delayed for several minutes when LIGHTENING LASS had to return to the stabling area to replace the sulky after the tyre punctured in the preliminary.
SEASIDE CHARLIE - lay in throughout the running proving difficult for driver P Ferguson. Trainer S Doody advised he would be making corrective gear change prior to resuming.
LINCOLN DEALER - raced wide early. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule approaching the 1800m when this runner raced wider on the track after SOUNDSHELL shifted out on the running line. It was established the driver T Cameron (SOUNDSHELL) had commenced his outward movement prior to LINCOLN DEALER reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.
KALIOPI - broke early in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Weakened from the 800m to finished distanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
HAPPY DAYS - weakened from the 400m.
LIGHTENING LASS - paced roughly rounding the first bend after becoming awkwardly placed to the sulky of SOUNDSHELL which was shifting ground outwards hampering trailing runners.
SPIRIT OF GOD - hampered and paced roughly approaching the 1800m.
LUCKY LUKA - hampered briefly approaching the 1800m.
Race 6   CONGRATULATIONS DR LUK CHIN MNZM HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed with the field having to be turned out of line after SO MYSTIFYING had become fractious resulting in the mare not parading in the correct manner and was late to turn into line. Refused to take part in the restart. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory barrier manners. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
CHESINOV - held up throughout the run home.
BARSUKOV - held up throughout the run home.
PATRICK MAHOMES - held up early in the run home and then raced in restricted room in the passing lane with driver P Ferguson not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
SO MYSTIFYING - connections advised the mare would be racing in season.
JASINOVA - slow early.
Race 7   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND SILK ROAD F & M HEAT 2 MOB PACE
PRINCESS OF SAVOY - when questioned regarding her tactics driver C Hackett advised that she had been instructed to go back from the outside draw and drive the mare with cover and be saved for one run in what was its first race back from a spell. Ms Hackett further advised that PRINCESS OF SAVOY had performed well in two recent workouts when driven in this manner and that she had not received a trail into the event as she had hoped before commencing to improve near the 500m. Stewards noted her comments.
The track was downgraded to Slushy following this event.
Race 8   DAILY DOUBLE DASH MOBILE PACE
THE NIGHT AGENT - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
DREAM ON LOU - held up by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - raced wide with cover throughout.
KINGS WATCH - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear.
BLAZING LOUIE - raced wide with cover throughout. Lay in and broke early in the run home losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TWISTA - held up final bend.
MELTON MOGUL - raced wide without cover throughout.
VILLAGE REBEL - held up early final bend.
Race 9   NEW WINTER RACING DATES AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HCP TROT
The start was delayed due to the saddlecloth numbers of WESTAR MILLY and SON OF PATRICK having to be exchanged. Co-trainers D & N Balle were issued a warning.
ELIZABETH HILL - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Stewards noted that driver A Butt was required to fend off the breaking VORONOV for safety reasons late in the run home.
VORONOV - broke near the 300m failing to settle
SON OF PATRICK - raced wide early.
LOTERIA - pre-race warmed.
MANCHESTER IN TIME - raced wide early. Weakened in the run home.
Race 10   NZMCA PARKING AT THE RACEWAY SOUTH OF THE BOMBAYS MOB PACE
KING TIDE - lay out rounding the final bend.
BUGALUGS - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear.
FRANCO MIKI - raced without cover from the 1400m.
MIKI MIRAGE - had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
WHATZ MY CHOICE - raced wide with cover from the 1200m.
JAHI - raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
LEXINGTON QUEEN - late scratching at 10.50am due to being sold.
Race 11   HOARDING SIGNS AVAILABLE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HCP TROT
AND REMEMBER ME - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 650m after having shifted off the leader's back losing all chance.
PAT YATES - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
MASS DISRUPTION - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
SKEE PRINCESS - pre-race warmed. Hampered shortly after the start by a breaking runner. Broke near the 1900m when racing to the inside of KUMANOVO hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stewards opened an investigation into this incident.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - shifted in approaching the 50m when driver H Moralde Sands activated the removable deafeners. Miss Sands was spoken to advisedly in relation to her lack of control in this incident.
KUMANOVO - approval was given for the mare to race without the notified pacifier given the prevailing track conditions.
TINKERBELLE - slow early. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m.
JOCA'S HILL - broke approaching the first bend losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1600m losing all chance.
