Race 10 - WINTER REWARDS FINALS HERE SUNDAY 26TH JULY MOBILE PACE
Trainer N Williamson advised Stewards on 1 June that subsequent blood tests conducted on SIMPLY AMAZING had shown irregularities which had been treated. Mr Williamson further advised the colt would now be given a brief freshen up.

Race 1   SOUTHLAND FARM SERVICES MOBILE PACE
BOMBAY GLACIER - raced wide early. Held up through the early and middle stages of the run home.
MAJOR BURNS - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1600m.
CLOSE - raced wide final bend. Held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home.
PARTY UP DENARIO - held up final bend.
RIGHTAZZ - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide final bend.
Race 2   NORTHERN SOUTHLAND TROTTING CLUB TROT
IN JEST - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer K Larsen.
GERALDINE CLOWERS - trainer K Green was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after presenting the mare with blinds which were not notified. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke in consequence losing considerable ground.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - trotted roughly in the home straight. Promoted to 4th placing.
JAZZY JACCKA - slow in the early stages. Broke after 100m losing all chance and was retired from the race by driver N Williamson. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
STAR INVASION - trotted roughly first bend.
DAISYMEROLLIN - broke over the concluding stages and was lapped on by TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN. Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) against 4th placing being awarded to DAISYMEROLLIN alleging the mare was lapped on at the finish line. After viewing the replays, driver B Barclay did not contest the protest and DAISYMEROLLIN was relegated to 5th placing by the Stewards, with TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN promoted to 4th placing.
Race 3   HYDE LANDSCAPING MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY DELIGHT - over-raced through the middle stages. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
XCITE US - raced greenly through the early and middle stages.
FLASHBYTHESEASIDE - held up final bend.
BETTER CLASS - broke briefly entering the first bend.
Race 4   THANKS COLIN DIXON MOBILE PACE
KUSAMA - briefly locked sulky stays with ROCKINGOOD near the 120m.
LOUIES ME DAD - hung outwards on the bends throughout. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
ROCKINGOOD - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Shifted up the track under pressure near the 150m having to be straightened by driver M Hill. Briefly locked sulky stays with KUSAMA near the 120m.
BOWLEM OVER - hung outwards at various stages in the home straight.
Race 5   TERRY DIXON 25 YEARS MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
PONTIFF - broke passing the 200m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
GLENDHU MISCHIEF - lay in final bend contacting track markers.
POPNROCK - over-raced middle stages.
RYDGEMONT'S HEIR - raced wider on the track when leading through the front straight on the first occasion.
DELLA'S FELLA - broke passing the 250m losing all chance.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - raced wide from the 500m. Lay inwards on the final bend. Driver M Kyle reported the inside sulky tyre had deflated in the run home.
Race 6   AWARUA SYNERGY FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
LA FAMILIA - weakened final bend.
STRANGER THINGS - driver C Dalgety advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SURE TO RISE - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Contacted a track marker and raced inside another on the final bend. Junior driver O Thomas, assisted by M Hurrell, was shown the replays for educational purposes. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful of Miss Thomas' lack of race day driving experience.
RED HOT FILLY PEPPER - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1650m.
AMERICANA ELITE - hung inwards and broke briefly passing the 200m when being shifted wider on the track in search of clear racing room. Driver C Ferguson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
INLIGHTEN ME - weakened final bend.
MARIALANA - over-raced middle stages.
SHONAGH KIRK - held up middle stages of the run home.
Race 7   KB & ASSOCIATES ACCOUNTANTS MOBILE PACE
HONEYCOMB - driver M Williamson reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
SUPERFAST - held up early stages of the run home.
TASHS BAD GIRL - raced wide from the 1000m. Driver N Kyle reported the inside sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 900m.
MATAI LIZZIE - held up leaving final bend and early stages of the run home.
JENNY GUMP - raced wide early until reaching the parked position near the 1050m.

MAMAS CRUNCH - raced wide from the 900m. Hung inwards on several occasions in the run home having to be straightened by driver N Burton.

MOONLIGHT ANGEL - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
PHISHING - weakened from the 800m.
TILLABERI - broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts.
JOANY BABY - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
LIL WHIP - hung outwards on various occasions in the home straight.
Race 9   SOUTH PORT NZ LTD BLUFF CUP (MOBILE PACE)
SAUCY DELIGHT - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened from the 700m.
HERB - weakened final bend.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - raced wide early. Shifted up the track in the home straight. Driver C Dalgety was issued with a warning for failing to maintain a straight course in the run home.
Race 10   SOUTHFISH LTD MOBILE PACE
DONNY DO - connections advised the gelding would race without front shoes.
DREAM STREET - lay inwards rounding the first bend.
SHERGAR - raced wide through the middle stages. Gave ground for a distance near the 600m.
SEARING LIGHT - trainer S Armour was issued with a warning for failing to have the correct colours available. Broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
