Race 1   PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA TROT
MACHO MAN - struck the final track marker prior to the passing lane and another track marker passing the 140m. Driver T Williams was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
PAIGE - weakened final bend.
CORMORAN STRIKE - broke at the start losing ground. Weakened final bend.
DIDN'T DI - hampered by a weakening runner near the 900m.
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 900m.
FATHER MIKE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Weakened final bend.
LOOK TO DA STARS - when questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised he was disappointed with the effort and could provide no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
AXEL ROSE - slow in the early stages. Lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the first bend. Lay into the passing lane late in the run home.
KNOWING ME - broke rounding the first bend losing ground and then over-raced for a distance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Trotted roughly and gave ground from the 900m hampering trailing runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
Race 2   WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
HAPPY HARRIET - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
ARTFUL BROMAC - raced three wide for a distance from the 1050m.
STYLE COUNCIL - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
LILY'S A STAR - raced wide with cover from the 1050m.
TAUMUTU LAD - raced wide with cover from the 1050m.
MONKEE MAJOR - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner.
LILAC LUXURY - out of position at the candy pole and start despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HEAVEN - held up by a weakening runner final bend.

Race 3   COCA-COLA HANDICAP TROT
RANDEL HUSTON P - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
TETRICK(AUS) - pre-race warmed.
PARIS PRINCE - broke briefly shortly after the start losing ground. Driver S Thornley was struck by a dislodged track marker near the 400m. Mr Thornley was unharmed in this incident. Lay inwards and struck track markers before breaking leaving the final bend losing all chance.
FRANCO JOSIAH - hung inwards leaving the final bend contacting and dislodging a track marker.
FIERY BANDITO - broke near the 900m losing ground.
Race 4   THREE CODES SYNDICATION OPPORTUNITIES MOBILE PACE
BETTOR GO VINNIE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
CRUSHER LOU - broke shortly after the start and hung inwards hampering trailing runners losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming.
STILL ROCKIN - weakened from the 500m hampering trailing runners.
AMASS - late scratching at 1.00pm on Veterinary advice.
MOONLITE BLOOD - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
BLAZE LIGHTENING - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver N Williamson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CHRISTIES ART - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
Race 5   SYNCROFLEX EXPRESS NZ 2YO TROTTING STAKES (MOBILE TROT)
DYNAMITE HILL - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Had to be steadied near the 950m when awkwardly positioned to the inside of T K SUPERSONIC. Stewards questioned drivers C Dalgety (DYNAMITE HILL) and J Morrison (T K SUPERSONIC) regarding this incident where it was established that T K SUPERSONIC had improved forward of DYNAMITE HILL at this stage however when being steadied after a slight easing of the pace DYNAMITE HILL had become awkwardly placed to the inside of T K SUPERSONIC with Mr Dalgety having to restrain his runner. After considering the matter, Stewards deemed no further action was required. Weakened from the 450m.
JET STREAM - forced to race wide on the track near the 900m.
DONOVAN - checked and broke entering the first bend when becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of MACY ROYALE and contacted the sulky wheel of T K SUPERSONIC hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stewards questioned drivers T Williams (DONOVAN) and K Cameron (MACY ROYALE) regarding this incident where it was established that when DONOVAN was being restrained when racing greenly T K SUPERSONIC hung outwards slightly entering the bend and this resulted in DONOVAN being tightened between runners with no one horse or driver deemed to be at fault.
ELLIE DIAMOND - hung outwards on several occasions through the running. Lay inwards and struck track markers when weakening final bend.
MASTER MCGOOGAN - hung outwards and trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
MACY ROYALE - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming.
Race 6   AVON CITY FORD NZ WELCOME STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
MADDISONS SPEEDY - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
TRAVEL AGENT - lay inwards in the run home having to be corrected by driver J Dunn.
A MAKO MAN - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
METRO BOY - weakened from the 450m.
NOT GUILTY - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
CAPTAIN TUI - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver J Morrison. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 7   YABBY DAM FARMS HEATHER WILLIAMS MEMORIAL (MOBILE TROT)
SILVERLININGS - required assistance from a Starting Attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ROYAL GYPSY - held up final bend.
MAVIS JONES - weakened final bend and broke leaving the final bend losing all chance.
VERTIGO - raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
PRACTICAL MAGIC - raced wide early and middle stages.
EUROSTYLE - raced wide early.
AH DINNAE KEN - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend.
NELLIE DOYLE - raced wide early.
Race 8   GARRARDS NZ SIRES' STAKES SERIES 3YO C&G FINAL (MOBILE PACE)
FLYING ACE - crowded by outside runners racing into the first bend and raced inside a track marker having to be restrained. Stewards questioned drivers O Thornley (FLYING ACE), A Butt (GET SEASIDE LUCKY), and B Orange (JUMAL). After hearing their explanations and viewing the replays, it was established that JUMAL had initially crossed both FLYING ACE and GET SEASIDE LUCKY. However after 100m GET SEASIDE LUCKY was able to improve to the inside of JUMAL when this runner shifted up the track. JUMAL then lay inwards racing into the first bend despite the efforts of driver B Orange resulting in GET SEASIDE LUCKY being dictated inwards with FLYING ACE racing inside a track marker. After considering the circumstances, Stewards deemed that no horse or driver was at fault. Held up early in the run home and lay in and struck a track marker near the 170m.
MYSTERY CREEK - raced wide early. Held up throughout the run home.
FOREVER MIKI - raced wide early and middle stages.
SPECIAL OCCASION - raced wide early and middle stages.
BRUCIEBYTHESEASIDE - held up early in the run home.

Race 9   HYDROFLOW NZ COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL (HCP PACE)
The start was delayed due to ROUGH AND READY being fractious. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HACKSAW RIDGE - broke at the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts. Weakened final bend.
DA VINCI - driver M Hurrell admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Hurrell's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 1 June up to and including 21 June 2026 (5 days).
DREAMS ARE FREE - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide from the 1100m.
THE BIG LEBOWSKI - over-raced middle stages.
AMERICAN ME - broke at the start losing ground.
FRANCO SINATRA - fractious after a delay to the start resulting in the gelding shifting outwards prior to the start. After viewing replays of the start Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained any advantage.
Race 10   MOORE WALKER DAVEY SEARELLS MOBILE PACE
FRANCO HUMBIE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Placed in restricted room momentarily near the 450m by an outside runner.
COUNTRY GOLD - raced wide early. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1100m.
TO RI RUBY - raced wide early. Forced to race wide from the 700m. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. Lay inwards near the 450m momentarily placing an inside runner in restricted room.
THE QUEENS GAMBIT - broke near the 1100m checking trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
BLAZING KNUCKLES - checked by a breaking runner near the 1100m.
Top
