Race 1   ASHFORD MOTOR LODGE TROT
KYLE LOCH - lay inwards on the bend near the 1300m.
POPNROCK - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home. Driver R McIlwrick reported he did not activate the removable deafeners as a consequence.
HAIL STONE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened from the 600m.
RANGITATA - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground. Lay out under pressure in the run home despite the efforts of driver O Kite.
RYDGEMONT'S HEIR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1450m.
GLENDHU MISCHIEF - lay inwards and broke passing the 1450m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
Race 2   NORTHERN TAVERN MOBILE PACE
BAUTISTA - over-raced through the early stages when being restrained to take cover. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Williamson advised that the gelding had over-raced early and proved difficult to control. Mr Williamson added he had replaced half-blinds with full blinds and in his opinion this had caused BAUTISTA to over-race, however not withstanding that he was disappointed with the effort.
TASHS BAD GIRL - raced wide early.
BOMBAY GLACIER - raced wide early.
SUPERFAST - held up final bend and in the run home until passing the 50m.
RIGHTAZZ - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Held up final bend and throughout the run home.
RAKAMICK - connections advised the gelding would be racing without front shoes.
RISE UP N DANCE - raced three wide with cover from the 900m.
HAROLD HANOVER - raced three wide with cover from the 900m.
HONEYCOMB - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Raced three wide without cover from the 1100m.
Race 3   WAIKIWI TAVERN MOBILE PACE
SWAHILI - raced three wide without cover from the 1000m. Weakened in the run home.
HOKONUI JOEL - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Driver B Morris was issued with a warning for failing to maintain his barrier position until the start. Driver B Morris was also issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
MARIALANA - over-raced middle stages.
AMERICANA ELITE - raced wide early. Held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home.
CASH IS KING - raced three wide without cover through the middle stages. Raced wider on the track near the 1200m when TRENDY'S STAR (M Hurrell) shifted out. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule where it was established that driver M Hurrell had commenced his outwards movement prior to CASH IS KING reaching his sulky wheel, accordingly no further action was required. Cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 4   ASCOT SPORTS BAR TROT
GERALDINE CLOWERS - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750m and broke in consequence losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly near the 500m. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation during the running.
FILLYOURBOOTS - fractious prior to the start. Broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 900m losing all chance.
COURAGEOUS KATIE - broke at the start losing ground.
KRACKA KARMA - broke after 100m losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750m. Lay out in the run home having to be corrected and was unable to be fully driven out by driver B Williamson. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
MAJESTIC DAUGHTER - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Broke again rounding the final bend losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation during the running.
TICKTOCK MCGLAUGHLIN - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1300m and continued in a gallop for some distance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
BLARNEY STONE - broke near the 1750m hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1300m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 5   EASTERN SUBURBS TAVERN HANDICAP PACE
DECEPTIVE LEE - driver M Hill was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
DENY EVERYTHING - weakened final bend.
HALEY JACCKA - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
MACANDREW AVIATOR - weakened final bend. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
Race 6   NEWFIELD TAVERN MOBILE PACE
RED HOT FILLY PEPPER - paced roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out by driver B Barclay.
SEASIDE ROBYN - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards when weakening final bend.
JUST A GEM - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 2.17pm due to having abrasions on the right hind fetlock. Connections were advised the filly was stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance prior to resuming.
RAVEN SHARD - when questioned regarding the perceived improved performance trainer W Adams advised that the mare had benefitted from a favourable draw and economical trip today adding he was not surprised by the better showing.
TRAIN STATION - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to not having raced for a considerable period of time and was cleared to start. Lay inwards at stages in the run home having to be straightened by driver B Williamson.
JUSTA CRUNCH - lay inwards first bend contacting several track markers. Lay inwards again final bend contacting a track marker.
Race 7   THE SOUTHLAND SPORTS BAR HANDICAP TROT
ANDY HALL - shifted up the track in the run home despite the efforts of driver B Williamson.
DELLA'S FELLA - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Lay inwards rounding the bends and contacted several track markers near the 900m. Driver K Tomlinson advised she would be recommending gear changes to connections.
LA DAMA - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
LIL WHIP - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed.
Race 8   DIAMOND CREEK FARM / SBSR SILK ROAD SERIES MOBILE PACE
CLOSE - broke in the score up however was in position at the start. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home. Driver N Williamson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners as a consequence.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - lay inwards rounding the final bend contacting several track markers.
RAKAVENOM - raced three wide without cover until reaching the parked position passing the 800m.
DRAGONESS - broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.

Race 9   THE AVE MOBILE PACE
CRACKER OPIE - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home. Again held up over the concluding stages of the run home.
JUSTAWEESIP - raced wide early. Again raced wide from the 900m.
PALLADIUM - raced wide early.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - raced wide from the 700m. Weakened final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed no abnormality.
Race 10   EDITORS CUT MOBILE PACE
THE BRICKLAYER - held up over the concluding stages of the run home.
SANTIAGO - over-raced through the middle stages.
SHERGAR - crowded by an outside runner racing round the first bend having to be steadied. Held up leaving final bend.
MIKI SKIPPER - over-raced in the parked position through the middle stages.
BABE ON THE BEACH - raced wide early. Shifted ground inwards near the 1800m placing an inside runner in restricted room. Driver C Ferguson was issued with a warning.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - out of position at the start. Driver N Kyle was issued with a warning for failing to maintain her barrier position until the start.
MAJOR BURNS - hung in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LOUIES ME DAD - raced wide until reaching the lead passing the 1300m. Shifted out leaving the final bend having to be straightened by driver A Milne.
