Race 5 - IRT NZ SIRES' STAKES 3YO TROTTERS CHAMPIONSHIP MOBILE TROT
Connections advised Stewards on 14 May that THE FOUR ACES had undergone treatment to remove an insect which had become lodged in the colt's trachea since its last start.

Race 7 - MAGNESS BENROW SIRES' STAKES 3YO FILLIES FINAL MOBILE PACE
Stewards subsequently followed up with connections regarding the blood test results obtained from ALL OF ME following the filly's disappointing performance. Connections advised that the blood analysis failed to detect any abnormalities or underlying issues that may have contributed to the performance. Furthermore, connections confirmed that the filly also underwent an ECG examination, the results of which likewise revealed no abnormalities or irregularities. In light of these findings, connections advised that ALL OF ME will now be sent for a spell before resuming preparations.

Race 1   NZMCA PARKING AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
NEW YORK HUSTLER - lay inwards racing into the first bend and struck several track markers. Weakened final bend and raced greenly. Stewards questioned drivers R Fensom (NEW YORK HUSTLER) and D Ferguson (MARA) regarding NEW YORK HUSTLER striking track markers rounding the first bend. After hearing from both drivers it was established that NEW YORK HUSTLER had lay inwards when Mr Fensom had restrained his runner after being crossed by MARA. After considering the matter no further action was deemed necessary.
RAVENS SHADOW - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend having to be steadied.
RIVERGIRL BELLA - driver P Ferguson reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MARA - driver D Ferguson was issued a warning for crowding an inside runner when shifting ground racing into the first bend.
LIGHTENING LASS - trainer J Young was issued a warning for being late to notify the filly would be racing with blinds and removable deafeners. Held up final bend and early in the run home.
BLINX - weakened final bend.
THE LAST YARN - required assistance from a starting attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
LOVE IT - paced roughly final bend. Driver T Hall was issued a warning for using his whip on a runner out of contention.
Race 2   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY HANDICAP TROT
BROTHER JOHNSON - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer D Butcher.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - over-raced middle stages when leading.
AND REMEMBER ME - over-raced middle stages.
TACTICAL APPROACH - broke after 100m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Broke again near the 150m losing all chance.
KISS MY PIXEL - hampered after 100m by a breaking runner.
RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - lay inwards rounding the final bend striking track markers. Held up early in the run home.
SON OF PATRICK - raced wide from the 800m.

S S GUPPY - lay inwards and paced roughly rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver A Poutama advised that the gelding was unsuited to racing parked and may not have backed up from its last start on 7 May.
SEASIDE CHARLIE - raced wide early. Over-raced early and middle stages.
COPY N PASTE - raced wide early.
HES NOT THAT INTO U - lay inwards throughout the run home.

RAKERO LIGHTNING - driver R Argue was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
MIKI MIRAGE - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Driver C Hackett was issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
JAHI - raced wide early.
HE'S TOUGH - raced wide early. Raced four wide from the 500m.
Race 5   NEW WINTER RACING DATES OUT THIS WEEK MOBILE PACE
FIFTH AND FINAL - raced wide without cover from the 1200m.
MIKI'S MOMENT - driver M Hay was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 400m.
SECRETS ABOUND - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early before being restrained to the rear of the field. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

SKEE PRINCESS - pre-race warmed. Weakened final bend.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 1800m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
JASINOVA - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lay inwards early in the run home having to be corrected by driver L Chin.
TINKERBELLE - broke at the start losing ground.
VERY MAJESTIC - over-raced middle stages.
KINK - raced wide early.

BILLY THE KID - hampered for a distance passing the 500m by a weakening runner.
IM ALL IN - hampered for a distance passing the 500m by a weakening runner.
RUN BLAZE RUN - raced wide early. Crowded by an outside runner early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - lay inwards approaching the first bend crowding inside runners.
DOMINUS - raced wide from the 1400m. Driver M Hay reported that one hopple shortener had been unable to be activated after becoming entangled.
TWO JULES - crowded by an outside runner early stages. Weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners. Broke near the 300m when STEALERS WHEEL shifted ground . Stewards opened and adjourned an investigation into this matter.
DREAM ON LOU - crowded by an outside runner early stages. Lay inwards in the run home.
LOUEZYANA - raced wide early. Raced wide from the 1400m.
STEALERS WHEEL - Hampered by a weakening runner rounding the final bend.

COSMIC STAR - weakened final bend. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
LINCOLN MAREE - raced wide early. Driver J Kriechbaumer admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion middle stages of the race. After viewing the replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - driver C Sharpe admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. After viewing the replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Sharpe's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 14 June 2026 (1 month).
