Race 1   SUMMIT ULTRA MOBILE PACE
GOTTA GO MIKI - lay inwards and raced inside and struck a track marker near the 1300m. Lay inwards and struck track markers near the 800m and again rounding the final bend. Driver L Hollis reported that the mare did not handle the bends.
NYMBAL - late scratching at 10.06am on veterinary advice.
IMPOSING SEA - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Butcher advised that he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2   CLASSIQUE LANDSCAPERS HANDICAP TROT
MANCHESTER'S MOMENT - lay outwards near the 50m hampering TU TANGATA which in turn hampered SANTAPAZIENZA, DARK GHANA and FINAL APPROACH despite the efforts of driver T Mitchell.
TU TANGATA - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Hampered by an inside runner near the 50m. Driver P Nairn advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence. Mr Nairn further advised Stewards that his chances of finishing ahead of MANCHESTER'S MOMENT had not been affected nearing the 50m.
SANTAPAZIENZA - trotted roughly early stages. Hampered near the 50m.
CHESINOV - weakened from the 900m. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver L Chin advised that the gelding was racing up in class however despite this was still disappointed. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DARK GHANA - hampered near the 50m.
HILL BILLIE BUNDY - held up early stages of the run home.
FINAL APPROACH - hampered near the 50m.
MAGIC DASH - raced wide from the 600m. Driver T Cameron advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
Race 3   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
TRIPLE DOWN - held up early stages of the run home. Driver L McCarthy advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
LOOKIN SNAZZY - broke racing into the first bend and attempted to buck losing ground. Lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 700m. A warning was placed on the racing record of the colt. Driver B Butt was spoken to for the manner in which he attempted to return the colt to its correct gait.
Race 4   IRT YOUNG GUNS EASTON LIGHT CLASSIC MOBILE TROT
APOLLO ELEVEN - required the assistance of a starting attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
ROYAL MONARCH - broke after 100m losing its chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile prior to resuming.
POWER STATION - broke as the start was affected losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile prior to resuming. Broke again near the 1300m losing its chance.
T K SUPERSONIC - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Out of position at the candy pole and start. Driver M White was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to maintain his position at the start.
DUKE OF BOURBON - fractious early stages of the score up and was out of position at the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile prior to resuming. Lay inwards and was awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of ELLIE DIAMOND when being shifted wider near the 250m.
Race 5   CHARLES ROBERTS N.I.S.B.A. STAKES MOBILE PACE
LADY OF THE LIGHT - weakened from the 500m hampering a trailing runner. Shifted up the track leaving the final bend. Driver M McKendry was questioned regarding the manner in which his runner shifted up the track rounding the final bend. After considering Mr McKendry's explanation and reviewing all available race films, Stewards issued him with a warning for the manner in which he drove at that stage of the race.
PRINCESS GRACY - hampered final bend.
MHAI SURFER GIRL - pre-race warmed.
WORDS - held up early stages of the run home.
SWEET MAGGIE MAE - weakened concluding stages.
FRANCENT - hung inwards at various stages.
Race 6   BRECKON FARMS NORTHERN TROTTING DERBY MOBILE TROT
SHARPE STRIDE - slow to leave the pre-race circle. Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
KAIRO - weakened from the 600m.
KYVALLEY RAY - driver B Orange reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
WHO'S YA DADDY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
KAWATIRI TREV - broke near the 500m losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 5th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
SAVE A PRAYER - broke near the 300m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 7   MAGNESS BENROW SIRES' STAKES 3YO FILLIES FINAL MOBILE PACE
ALL OF ME - pre-race warmed. Commenced to weaken from the 700m. Driver C Dalgety could offer no tangible explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities or findings of significance on endoscopy. Connections advised they will have blood tests taken from the filly in the coming days with Stewards to follow up.
DOLLY PARTON - paced roughly passing the 400m.
WAT NEXT - raced wide from the 1300m.
QUEEN LIZZY - raced wide from the 1500m.
SMACKDOWN - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
CATH - raced wide early.
RIPPLES - driver L McCarthy was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for speaking with another driver when parading in the pre-race circle.
TIME FOR CHANGE - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
FLY HIGH - driver H Orange was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for speaking with another driver when parading in the pre-race circle. Hampered final bend. Broke near the 200m for a distance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
Race 8   REHARVEST ROWE CUP FFA ((STAND) TROT
ROMEO FOXTROT - weakened from 300m.
MIDNIGHT DASH - hampered near the 400m.
WALKINONSUNSHINE - held up leaving the final bend.
HIGHER POWER - weakened leaving the final bend.
CONFESSIONAL - raced greenly near the 2700m losing ground. Raced greenly again approaching the 400m and broke hampering a trailing runner. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
MR LOVE - driver B Hope was issued a warning for crossing his reins late in the run home to perform a celebratory gesture.
OSCAR BONAVENA - pre-race warmed. Over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend.
Race 9   DAWSON HARFORD NEW ZEALAND MESSENGER MOBILE PACE
SWAYZEE - underwent post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination at the request of connections which revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery which was treated by the oncourse veterinarian.
DAVE DULEY - locked wheels briefly with ANOTHER COLLECT at the start. Weakened near the 700m.
ANOTHER COLLECT - lay inwards at the start and locked wheels briefly with DAVE DULEY. Weakened final bend.
MR MIKI - weakened final bend.
LEO LINCOLN - lay inwards striking track markers near the 1250m. Again lay inwards near the 850m striking a track marker losing ground.
WE WALK BY FAITH - weakened concluding stages.
Race 10   ROVA MOBILE PACE
MUCHACHO - crowded and forced to race inside track markers entering the first bend having to be checked by driver H Orange. Paced roughly then broke near the 250m shifting the gelding being shifted inside the marker line as a consequence losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - shifted inwards approaching the first bend, crowding MUCHACHO (H Orange), which was forced down onto track markers and had to be restrained. Junior Driver C Hackett, assisted by M Wallis, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) for driving carelessly by shifting inwards near the first bend when not sufficiently clear to do so and after viewing the replays and considering submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
