Race 1   LONE STAR ALEXANDRA PARK HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed with the field being turned away to readdress the barriers after several runners in the front line breasted the tape due to the unruly horses being unable to turn into position.
CRAZY - pre-race warmed. Broke at the start before pacing briefly being checked into its correct gait losing considerable ground. Gave ground final bend.
JOCA'S HILL - broke entering the first bend losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
KAIPAKI JACK - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
ONE MORE MOMENT - broke near the 600m losing ground. Broke again near the 150m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
IT AIN'T ME BABE - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
Trainer Z Meredith reported on the 18 May that ONE MORE MOMENT has had its joints treated since last racing.
Race 2   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
DOMINUS - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
ANOTHER COLLECT - held up early stages of the run home. Placed in restricted room late in the run home when an outside runner lay inwards. Driver M Purdon was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the run home.
BUDDY GOOD - over-raced when being restrained to take cover near the 1400m. Continued to over-race for a period thereafter. Weakened final bend and lay inwards contacting track markers hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange confirmed the gelding had over-raced which had taken its toll.
MAKO - raced wide early.
MELODY BANNER - co-trainers S & A Telfer were issued a warning for the late notification of driver. Over-raced middle stages.
COLONEL LINCOLN - raced wide from the 700m.
SUGAR RAY LINCOLN - placed in restricted room late in the run home when an outside runner lay inwards.
THE JOLLY ROGER - hung inwards and raced inside track markers near the 1300m with the trailing LEO LINCOLN dislodging a marker. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
HOORAY HENRY - lay inwards despite the efforts of driver D Butcher placing inside runners in restricted room just short of the winning post.
Race 3   REHARVEST HANDICAP TROT
BARSUKOV - trainer L Chin was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race with fixed deafeners instead of the notified removable deafeners.
PARADISE ALI - broke entering the first bend losing ground and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ALDEBARAN REDWOOD - when questioned regarding the performance driver A Poutama could offer no tangible reason. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
TU TANGATA - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver P Nairn advised that the gelding had trotted roughly on occasions and he wasn't overly disappointed with the effort considering this. Mr Nairn further added that he may change this runner's shoeing during the week.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke at the start considerable ground. Broke again near the 850m losing all chance.
Race 4   ALABAR MOBILE PACE
RIDE THE WAVES - driver T Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MIDNIGHT BETTY - held up early stages of the run home.
ANN PENNY - broke in the score up but was in position at the candy pole. Raced wide early. Weakened concluding stages.
DOLLY PARTON - held up early stages of the run home.
VALEREI - lost ground rounding the final bend hampering a trailing runner.
LOOKIN SNAZZY - trainer P Nairn was issued a warning for being late to notify that the colt would be racing with a pacifier. Hampered rounding the final bend.
JESSIE LINCOLN - raced wide from the 1400m.
SOUNDSHELL - had some difficult obtaining a clear run in the home straight.
MICKEY HOLLER - lay inwards shortly after the start and paced roughly for several strides. Hung inwards rounding the final bend and early stages of the run home.
Race 5   IRT NZ SIRES' STAKES 3YO TROTTERS CHAMPIONSHIP MOBILE TROT
KYVALLEY RAY - hampered entering the first bend. Driver B Orange reported that the removable deafeners failed to activate despite his efforts.
PETITE AMOUR - hampered entering the first bend.
THE FOUR ACES - over-raced early stages. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend when weakening then hung inwards and broke striking a track marker losing ground. Authorisation of 5th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
KAIRO - broke entering the first bend hampering trailing runners losing ground. Continued to trot roughly at various stages throughout the running.
Connections advised Stewards on 14 May that THE FOUR ACES had undergone treatment to remove an insect which had become lodged in the colt's trachea since its last start.
Race 6   PASCOES THE JEWELLERS NORTHERN OAKS MOBILE PACE
CATH - lay outwards rounding the final bend. Despite this driver S Hill was advised to make a better effort to maintain a straight course in future.
ALECTO - checked near the 800m losing ground.
SMACKDOWN - raced wide early. Locked wheels with LULANA near the 950m. Stewards questioned drivers P Ferguson (SMACKDOWN) and A Poutama (LULANA) regarding this incident where it was established that LULANA had lay inwards and had raced on one rein prior to being shifted wider by SMACKDOWN. Driver A Poutama stated that had his filly raced more tractably in this incident he would have been able to accommodate the outward shift of SMACKDOWN. After hearing from both drivers Stewards were satisfied that neither driver was at fault and took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances. Checked and broke briefly near the 800m losing ground.
ALL OF ME - pre-race warmed. Lay inwards rounding the final bend then continued to lay inwards throughout the run home.
WAT NEXT - pre-race warmed. Checked near the 800m losing ground.
LIZZIE BORDEN - late scratching at 7.29pm on veterinary advice after rearing and falling in the birdcage area. Treated by the oncourse Veterinarian. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SECRET WISH - improved three wide near the 1200m. Lay inwards and broke free of interference near the 800m checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
INDULGE ME - severely checked near the 800m losing ground. Lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
LULANA - broke when locking wheels with SMACKDOWN near the 950m after being forced to race wider on the track.
Race 7   BARRY PURDON RACING STABLES - ROY PURDON MEMORIAL MOB PACE
GOT THE CHOCOLATES - pre-race warmed. Held up early stages of the run home.
WE WALK BY FAITH - over-raced when being restrained through the early stages. Continued to over-race middle stages.
THE LAZARUS EFFECT - trainer B Butt was issued a warning for the late notification of driver.
DOO YOU WANT ME - late scratching at 8.23am on veterinary advice.
SWAYZEE - trainer J Grimson was issued a warning for being late to notify the gelding would be racing without notified blinds. Lay outwards having to be corrected near the 150m.
Race 8   WOODLANDS STUD NORTHERN DERBY MOBILE PACE
IRON MIKE TYSON - required assistance from a starting attendant in the pre-race formation. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early. Weakened final bend.
ANDRETTI(AUS) - raced wide from the 600m. Weakened over the concluding stages. Driver C Hart advised that working hard early had taken its toll.
FREEZE FRAME - raced wide early.
CYCLONE REBEL - trainer T Hopkins was issued a warning for the late notification of driver. Raced wide early. Connections advised that the gelding cast the near hind shoe.
LINCOLN WAVE - raced wide early.
SPECIAL OCCASION - held up early final bend. Driver M Purdon admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion early in the run home. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Purdon's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 8 May up to and including 21 May 2026 (3 days) and imposed a fine of $100.00.

SHES ALL LEGS - lay inwards rounding the final bend striking and racing inside track markers.
OVERWATCH - trotted roughly racing into the first bend. Broke near the 700m losing ground.
CYCLONE SALA - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
KAMILLA - weakened final bend.
HOME GROWN GIRL - lay inwards and struck track markers near the 950m.
ROYAL SECRET - broke near the 1600m losing ground. Broke again near the 600m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 10   TOP OF THE PARK - TICKETS AVAILABLE FRI 8 MAY MOBILE PACE
PRINCE LINCOLN - over-raced middle stages.
CAPTAIN MOONLIGHT - lay inwards and raced roughly when racing wide in the early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
UTAH BLAZE - raced wide early. Lay inwards contacting a track marker near the 300m.
MISS BRABANT - over-raced middle stages.
ALWAYS BE KIND - had difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 150m.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - raced wide early before crossing to the parked position near the 1550m.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - held up near the 150m momentarily.
