Race 1   REMEMBERING COLIN BERRY HANDICAP TROT
ROWDY YATES - broke passing the 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MILLIE LET LOOSE - held up final bend.
CORMORAN STRIKE - lay inwards and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
TETRICK(AUS) - pre-race warmed. Lay inwards and trotted roughly when racing wide in the early and middle stages. Driver B Graham was advised to start wider on the track when drawn unruly.
STYRAX - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.
Race 2   CONTINENTAL EVENT HIRE PACE
ENOKA - weakened in the run home.
TEE BALL - raced wide from the 1000m.
MAJOR MISS - tangled away. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1000m. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
HARRY'S GIRL - checked by a breaking runner near the 1000m.
BACCHUS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke briefly at the 1800m losing ground. Broke again when leading near the 1000m checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the bit had shifted in the horse's mouth causing him steering difficulties.
Race 3   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE TROT
CLOVELLY HILL - held up final bend.
RIDGE - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably.
BARRYTOWN - broke late in the score up hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SILVERLININGS - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
HE'S MY CREATION - raced wide early.
SILVESTER - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WHAT THE BELL - hampered by a breaking runner late in the score up and was out of position at the start. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had spoken to driver S Ottley who confirmed her horse had not been denied a fair start.
Race 4   EXPERIENCE THE THRILL AT ADDINGTON MOBILE PACE
ALL OF ME - the required veterinary clearance was received. Raced wide early.
SHARE A DREAM - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 5   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MOBILE PACE
ZARLINI - struck a track marker rounding the final bend. Driver G Thornley was issued a warning.
PIONEER - lay inwards final bend striking track markers.
TACT TEVA - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early.
Race 6   NZMTC THANKS & FAREWELLS BRAD STEELE MOBILE PACE
WARRIOR CHIEF - crowded by an outside runner racing into the first bend.
EBONY ARDEN - shifted inwards racing into the first bend crowding an inside runner. Driver T Williams was issued a warning.
NEXT LEVEL - weakened final bend.
SIDESHOW BRUCE - raced greenly when leading and shifted up the track near the 1300m.
Race 7   ROAD METALS PACE
The start was delayed due to the Starter not being satisfied with the manner in which several horses addressed the barrier with all runners being turned out of line.
BRYCE'S MEDDLE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
JAY R TOLKIEN - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
TEDS LEGACY - raced wide early. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
MYSTERY BEACH - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Raced wide without cover from the 1300m.
CAUGHT THE EYE - raced wide with cover from the 1300m.
Race 8   BUY A WOODLANDS STAR 20 MAY MOBILE PACE
B B KING - over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised the gelding had over-raced in the parked position which may have taken its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
EYES OF AN ANGEL - held up early in the run home.
ROCKING RUBY - raced wide early. Lay inwards when weakening from the 500m and struck track markers. When questioned regarding the performance driver A Butt advised the filly had over-raced and then commenced to hang causing him difficulty. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
FLYING ACE - held up early in the run home.
Race 9   BETAVET THANKS JACK HARRINGTON HANDICAP PACE
HADRON COLLIDER - broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
MARKETPLACE - driver C Ferguson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
OHOKA CONNOR - weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed some lameness in the left hind leg which was treated. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS HANDICAP TROT
ZOLTAN BOSCIK - over-raced middle stages. Lay outwards in the run home.
PARIS PRINCE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
ROCK LOBSTER - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
