IMPERIOUS GIRL - trainer C Ferguson was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards.
KRACKA KARMA - broke near the 500m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
IDLE LILLY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.
ERAGON - trainer G McLay was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Trotted roughly in the middle stages. Broke when being shifted wider on the track passing the 800m losing ground. Stewards questioned drivers G McLay (ERAGON) and H Douglas (BLARNEY STONE) regarding ERAGON breaking and after considering their evidence Mr McLay was issued a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) alleging that he drove carelessly when failing to concede his position. Mr McLay admitted the charge and after viewing the replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicator imposed a suspension of Mr McLay's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing today 16 April up to and including 7 May 2026 (4 days).
Race 2   PERFECT STING AT MACCA LODGE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
CRUNCHIE DALE - over-raced middle stages.
AMERICANA ELITE - trainer D Gregory was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Paced roughly shortly after the start.
BETTER KAST - co-trainers R & C Wilson were issued with a warning after presenting the mare with blinds not notified.
Race 3   NIGHTCAPS CONTRACTING MOBILE PACE
HAVARTI ARDEN - trainer N Aitken was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards.
RIGHTAZZ - raced wide early.
JUSTA TERRA - held up rounding the final bend.
SUPERFAST - trainer B Norman was issued with a warning for failing to affix mudguards. Broke near the 1200m briefly hampering a trailing runner losing ground and was not persevered with by driver W House who reported that the hopple shortener cord had become entangled around the mare's leg causing it to break.
RAKAMICK - raced wide early. Hampered briefly by a breaking runner near the 1200m.
JACCKA OMNI - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after showing signs of lameness around at the start and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 1.27pm. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
Race 4   LIFE MEMBERS FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SCHEMEANDREAM - briefly placed in restricted room over the concluding stages.
RAKADIAMONDS - held up final bend and early in the run home. Contacted a track marker near the 180m. Driver C Dalgety was issued with a warning. Briefly placed in restricted room over the concluding stages.
BETTER TIME - lay in over the concluding stages briefly placing inside runners in restricted room, having to be straightened by driver B Barclay.
LA FAMILIA - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover.
SHONAGH KIRK - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 1.09pm. Connections were advised the mare was stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
CARBONATE - raced wide early.
Race 5   TONY STEVENS MEMORIAL HANDICAP TROT
SHEILA LAXON - fractious prior to the start.
FATHER NED - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver C Ferguson advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
JOANY BABY - shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages despite the efforts of driver M Williamson.
TILLABERI - broke after 150m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 6   NIGHT 'N DAY WINTON MOBILE PACE
HIGH RETURN - held up final bend.
THREE THIRTY - lay out at various stages during the running. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner. Lay out when weakening final bend and was then placed in restricted room when COSMIC AURUM lay in simultaneously when weakening.
HAVTIMEFORMIKI - paced roughly near the 600m when becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of COSMIC AURUM which was shifting outwards to avoid another weakening runner. Shifted inwards on occasions in the run home despite the efforts of driver K Larsen.
LOVE MEISTER - lay in over the concluding stages despite the efforts of driver K Green and locked wheels with CASH IS KING near the 50m.
COSMIC AURUM - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to take cover. Lay in when weakening final bend.
DANGER ZONE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
CASH IS KING - locked wheels with LOVE MEISTER near the 50m.
RAKATURBO - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 7   SOUTHLAND VEHICLE SALES JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
BOMBAY GLACIER - briefly placed in restricted room when an outside runner lay in early in the run home.
THE BRICKLAYER - driver M Kyle dropped her whip early in the run home.
RAMBLIN ROVER - lay in early in the run home briefly placing an inside runner in restricted room, having to be straightened by driver D Anderson. Mr Anderson was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
LOU'S DEAL - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer/driver R Heads advised the gelding had drawn benefit from a change in training regime adding she was not surprised by the forward showing today.
DIAMONDSONMYSHOES - weakened final bend.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Race 8   RICKY MURRELL MEMORIAL MOBILE PACE
NEK DELIGHT - held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home.
ALWAYS BE BATMAN - lay in over the concluding stages. Driver H Douglas reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
CHICAGO SKY - raced wide early.
Race 9   OMALASS DRIED MOLASSES TROT
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed.
GARONNE - broke at the start losing ground before settling, then broke again shortly after losing considerable ground.
HAIL STONE - weakened from the 700m. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
GEENA'S GIFT - broke first bend losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
ERROL D - underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after showing signs of lameness around at the start and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 4.52pm. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
POPNROCK - broke first bend losing considerable ground.
RYDGEMONT'S HEIR - contacted a track marker final bend. Driver M Shirley was issued with a warning.
Race 10   TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD (TSL) MOBILE PACE
DRAGONESS - over-raced middle stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R McIlwrick reported he did not activate the removable deafeners as a consequence.
THE DANCER - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation adding he would have blood tests conducted on the filly in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the results.
JENNY GUMP - held up final bend.
ARMA FOREST - raced wide early.
TREACHEROUS ME - held up final bend and throughout the run home. Driver N Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners as a consequence.
SKINNY DIPPIN - raced wide early.
