RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
TIKI - broke entering the first bend losing all chance.
Race 2   SUPERSONIC SYNDICATE MOBILE PACE
WHO'S YOUR DRAGON - was inclined to shift up the track marginally over the concluding stages.
DREAM ON LOU - lay inwards first bend. Lay inwards again passing the 100m having to be corrected by driver A Poutama.
CLAP FOR THE WOLFMAN - broke for some distance as the start was effected losing ground and causing a disadvantage to THE ELITE ATHLETE and IM ALL IN by forcing them to race wide into the first bend. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner through the early stages. Driver E Johnson was issued with a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
IM ALL IN - inconvenienced by a breaking runner through the early stages.
GENUINE IMITATION - driver M Hay was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 3   BILL MARWICK MOBILE PACE
EASTWOOD ADMIRAL - over-raced through the middle stages. Paced roughly near the 1000m. Held up rounding the final bend. Lay outwards over the concluding stages.
CEE WHATABET - driver S Dickson was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the initial stages of the run home.
MANAVUE - held up final bend.
MAJOR NIGHTMARE - held up late in the run home.
SHEZABONNIELASS - raced greenly in the early stages. Driver M Hay dropped his foot momentarily when activating gear near the 350m.
Race 4   CARTOWN MOBILE PACE
INDISPOSED - over raced when being restrained passing the 1500m and weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance, driver M Hay advised that, in his opinion, the gelding was not suited by the strong early tempo and had commenced to over-race while he was attempting to obtain cover, which had taken its toll over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
ESTER LUCY - over-raced through the middle stages.
COSMIC STAR - late scratching on veterinary advice at 5.29pm.
MR MIKI - held up early stages of the run home.
FEAR THE DIVA - driver S Doody admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicator imposed a suspension of Mr Doody's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 9 April up to and including 30 April 2026 (4 days).
Race 5   RACING AGAIN THURSDAY 9TH MOBILE PACE
HE'S TOUGH - the hood of the removable deafeners became detached shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the parked position through the middle stages. Weakened abruptly from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance driver A Poutama advised that despite the gelding over-racing through the middle stages he could offer no tangible excuse for the disappointing run. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. Stewards will follow up the recovery of HE'S TOUGH with connections prior to the second day.
BALTIC STAR - held up for the majority of the home straight.
I CAN TOO - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained then continued to over-race through the middle stages. Raced fiercely on it's outside line throughout the run home proving difficult for driver E Johnson to drive out with any vigour.
GOTTA ELECT BILL - Stewards opened an investigation into the manner in which driver M Hay used his whip over the initial stages of the run home.
