Race 1   TIM WILLIAMS & JOHN DUNN PACE
HUGHES TWO ME - tangled away. Briefly hampered by a slight easing of the pace after 200m.
ARCHER - driver T Borcoskie was issued a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home. Mr Borcoskie was also spoken to advisedly for the manner he drove in the early stages when easing the pace to obtain cover which caused trailing runners to be hampered.
CARLIN - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
MATTIE NEVIN - tangled away. Lay outwards leaving the final bend and shifted up the track despite the efforts of driver S Ottley.
PREMIER ARDEN - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
BUDDY REIGN - broke at the start losing ground.
WHATZ MY CHOICE - a post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed swelling on the right front knee which was treated.
REIMBURST - paced roughly after 200m when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of HUGHES TWO ME after a slight easing of the pace.
MOTOR MOUTH - driver A Cameron was advised to start wider on the track when drawn unruly.
Race 2   PROBUILD ITM / NELSON PINES TROT
JOHNNY TROTTER - broke at the start hampering an outside runner losing ground. Broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance.
WHICH WAY - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
SHEEP - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
MAJESTIC FLYER - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened in the run home. Driver S Tomlinson reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
IMPERIAL KNIGHT - broke after 200m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Broke again leaving the final bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TIME FOR VICTORY - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Trotted roughly late in the run home.
TERRY WEBSTER - broke at the start losing all chance.
WHATZ THE LUCK - trotted roughly throughout the run home and was unable to be driven out.
Race 3   GOLDTODD LODGE & SAM FORD MOBILE PACE
SAM SNEAD - driver A Cameron advised she elected not to activate the hopple shorteners on the gelding due to the horse pacing fluently today.
ROCKABILLY REIGN - lay inwards and paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
MAJOR MISS - hung inwards at various stages throughout the run home having to be corrected by driver J Dunn.
ANTISOCIAL - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Lay inwards when weakening leaving the final bend and struck a track marker.
MAMAS CRUNCH - raced wide early. Driver T Williams advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - driver S Thornley advised a sulky tyre deflated in the early stages.
Race 4   REMEMBERING MERV & ALICE WHITTAKER TROT
HUCKLEBERRY - held up for clear racing room early and middle stages of the run home.
RUTHLESS EMMA - raced wide early. Shifted outwards leaving the final bend. Driver A Mugford was advised to make a better effort to prevent her runner from shifting wider on the track.
GO HOME DENISE - trotted roughly throughout the run home.
BLUEY - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - raced wide early.
Race 5   JULIA, MAREE & STEVIE AT HARCOURTS PACE
DELIGHTINGOLD - connections advised the mare would be racing in season.
BABY COME BACK - broke after 150m checking trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. A hind bandage came adrift during the running. Trainer G Telfer was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift.
TOFFEE POTTS - checked and broke after 150m losing ground. Broke when racing over the crossing near the 1700m losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Paced roughly when being shifted wider on the track near the 800m and raced wide from the 800m. Lay inwards when weakening early in the run home.
JAMES TOM - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
FEI LONG - shifted outwards near the 800m forcing TOFFEE POTTS wider on the track which paced roughly. After questioning drivers T Williams (TOFFEE POTTS) and J Morrison (FEI LONG) regarding this incident and viewing replays, Stewards issued Mr Morrison with a warning to exercise greater care when shifting runners wider on the track.
FOREMAN FOX - broke when racing over the crossing near the 1700m losing ground. Hung inwards and paced roughly in the run home.
UNDER ARREST - broke at the start losing ground.
BARRACUDA - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
THERE HE GOES - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again when racing over the crossing near the 1700m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ALWAYS B HAYLEY - hampered by a breaking runner after 150m.
Race 6   SAM THORNLEY & WILSON HOUSE (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
MOSTERT - raced greenly when leading passing the 1000m.
FLYAWAY - lay inwards and broke after 150m losing ground.
KATYS SHADOW - refused to score up with the field losing all chance and was retired from the race. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming.
ART JORDAN - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MOUTON CADET - driver M Holbrough was issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
DOWN A HUNDY - permission was granted for the gelding to race with fixed deafeners after becoming fractious in the stabling area prior to the race. Fractious leaving the pre-race formation and was back from position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 7   JONTYS JOURNEY TROT
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - driver M Holbrough advised she was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
HEZA COOL DUDE - broke passing the 1800m losing ground.
MEANDAD - weakened early in the run home.
ISOBEL - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MONARO DEAN - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
Race 8   CRATE & BARREL/ALPINE INN HANMER/MARK TWEEDY MOBILE PACE
HANOI FRANCO - weakened in the run home.
SIDOROVA - crowded by an inside runner early in the run home.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - shifted outwards early in the run home crowding an outside runner. Driver G O'Reilly was issued a warning.
EVIDENTLY - raced wide early.
ZEUS - raced wide early. Driver B Thomas admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 300m and with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.

TEDS LEGACY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
TO RI RUBY - broke at the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.

COMMANDER BEN - broke at the start losing ground. Raced wide early.
SHANNON B - stood on the mark losing ground.
MY SKATJIE - broke at the start losing ground.
BLUE ROCK DANCER - driver B Hope was issued a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
SHARD DE ARCH - broke at the start losing ground. Paced roughly in the run home. Driver R May advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.

OLIVER - reared as the start was effected hampering a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Trotted roughly in the run home.
OUR EVIE RAE - hung inwards near the 100m having to be corrected by driver R Close.
FOUR WISE WOMEN - broke at the start losing ground.
