Underwent a veterinary examination after being found to have blood at its nostrils upon returning to the stabling area which revealed the gelding had suffered from exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage. Stood down for the mandatory 30 days with a veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination required prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming. | |

| MIKI MIRAGE - commenced to improve to the inside of PROVISEUR on straightening for the run home but then raced over the final track marker at the entrance to the passing lane and broke losing all chance. Stewards held an investigation into the incident. After hearing the relative evidence from Drivers C Hackett (MIKI MIRAGE) and E Johnson (PROVISEUR) and viewing the replays blame could not be solely attributed to either horse or driver with Stewards taking the the matter no further other than to note the circumstances. | |
