ALWAYS TICKING - trainer C Ferguson advised Stewards on 2 April that a follow up veterinary examination of ALWAYS TICKING revealed the mare to have a virus which has been treated.

Race 1   REGENT SOUTH HANDICAP TROT
SPECIAL SON - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend. Lay in rounding the final bend contacting and dislodging several track markers then broke hampering a trailing runner, losing all chance.
GARONNE - broke entering the first bend hampering a trailing runner. Authorisation of this runner's 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
PHISHING - driver T Robertson was issued with a warning for using his whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
IDLE LILLY - lay in rounding the bend near the 900m contacting track markers. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
DAISYMEROLLIN - pre-race warmed.
HAIL STONE - lay in rounding the bend near the 900m.
Race 2   CREATION SIGNS MOBILE PACE
SKY PATROL - over-raced in the parked position through the early to middle stages. Weakened from the 900m. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Williamson confirmed the gelding had over-raced which had taken its toll. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
MAGNETIC BECKERS - late scratching on veterinary advice at 11.45am.
NEK DELIGHT - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground with the hopple centre carrier strap coming adrift as a result.
Race 3   HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM KILKELLY PACE
RISE UP N DANCE - contacted track markers rounding the final bend. Driver N Williamson was issued with a warning. Lay out final bend and throughout the run home.
DRAGON POWER - slow in the early stages.
MR PRESIDENT - lay in near the 1000m contacting several track markers. Held up leaving the final bend and early stages of the run home.
MAJOR BURNS - trainer K Green was issued with a warning after presenting the gelding without the notified anti-choke device.
JENNY GUMP - tangled away.
Race 4   PROVIDENT INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared at the first attempt when SUPERFAST broke in the score up checking a second line runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver W House elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart.
SUPERFAST - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Weakened in the run home.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - over-raced through the middle stages. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Weakened in the run home.
TASHS BAD GIRL - raced three wide without cover until reaching the parked position passing the 1000m. Weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
BOMBAY GLACIER - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
SEARING LIGHT - the blinds were removed prior to the restart after the mare had become worked up due to the false start.
Race 5   REGENT ROUNDABOUT MOBILE PACE
HAROLD HANOVER - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
CLOSE - weakened over the concluding stages.
ALWAYS B ROYAL - lay in over the concluding stages having to be straightened by driver M Hurrell.
THE REAL CRUNCH - junior driver G Goodman, assisted by B Williamson, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Goodman's junior driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 16 April up to and including 3 May 2026 (3 days).
DURRANT - lay out throughout the run home having to be straightened by driver C Ferguson.
RAKAMICK - held up throughout the run home. Driver M Hill reported he did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.
Race 6   FINAL TOUCH / CLEAN-BIZ HANDICAP TROT
CALL DUDLEY - lay in final bend contacting a track a marker.
MARKTHEWARRIOR - fractious prior to the start causing a delay then broke shortly after the tapes were released losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
THE GREEK FREAK - lay in passing the 1000m contacting and dislodging track markers.
JAY BEE HILL - broke passing the 1800m losing all chance.
MISTER - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver W House advised that the gelding had struggled to make ground off the 20m handicap, however notwithstanding this he was disappointed with the run.
Race 7   MACCA LODGE/NEVELE R STUD SOUTHERN OAKS (HEAT 3) MOBILE PACE
INDULGE ME - lay out throughout the run home having to be straightened by driver N Williamson.
HAVTIMEWILLFLY - contacted the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Authorisation of this runner's 1st placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the filly had not gained an advantage. Driver B Barclay was issued with a warning.
Race 8   STIRLING AUTO REPAIRS / ALL PURPOSE ENGINEERING MOBILE PACE
SCHEMEANDREAM - shifted up the track throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver N Williamson.
SHIVER IN THE DARK - driver M Hurrell reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
RAVEN SHARD - raced wide early.
CHARLOTTE BADGER - over-raced middle stages. Raced three wide with cover from the 1000m. Raced greenly near the 300m before breaking and making heavy contact with the sulky of RAVEN SHARD, stumbling and falling to the track briefly, hampering and checking a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have cuts and abrasions to both front legs which were treated. Connections were advised CHARLOTTE BADGER was stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
SWEET ESPRESSO - raced wide early. Raced three wide without cover from the 1200m. Lay in on the bend near the 1100m. Weakened final bend.
SHONAGH KIRK - raced wide early. Raced three wide with cover from the 1100m. Hampered and checked near the 300m.
CASH IS KING - broke in the score up and was slightly back from its Unruly position at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
BETTER KAST - over-raced middle stages.
Race 9   VETSOUTH EQUINE SOUTHERN BELLE SERIES (HEAT 4) MOBILE PACE
ANITA MARY - lay in rounding the bends contacting track markers. Held up final bend.
