| AUDACITY - over-raced middle stages. Held up in the run home before being awkwardly placed behind the sulky of COMMANDER BEN near the 100m when THE COALMAN and COMMANDER BEN shifted ground marginally and broke losing its chance. Stewards questioned driver R Cameron regarding this incident where it was established that a run had been available however after activating the removable deafeners this gap had closed resulting in Mr Cameron having to restrain his runner and contact being made. After considering Mr Cameron's explanation and reviewing the replays, Stewards were satisfied that Mr Cameron was not solely culpable and took the matter no further other than to remind him to exercise greater care when activating gear in similar circumstances. | |
