Co-trainer C Dalgety advised Stewards on 17 March that FREEZE FRAME has recovered normally following its disappointing performance which he attributed to the colt being slightly underdone following its first up race along with sitting parked on a fast tempo.

Race 1   BETAVET MOBILE PACE
MCKENDRICK - commenced to weaken rounding the final turn. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Dunn could offer no explanation other than it was the gelding's first race for six weeks. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
BUGALUGS - back from position at dispatch despite the efforts of Driver J Stormont. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
ENZO - broke approaching the 1000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
Race 2   HOLMES & CO MOBILE PACE
RIVERGIRL BELLA - over-raced early. Driver P Ferguson was warned for the manner in which he shifted ground inwards near the 1450m which resulted in ABMAN being momentarily crowded contacting a track marker.
BETTER BE SWEET - late scratching at 5.09pm on veterinary advice.
TWIST AND TANGO - paced roughly early in the run home having to be steadied.
MAGENTA - held up early final turn.
BLINX - weakened leaving the final turn.
Race 3   GREGORY EQUINE MOBILE PACE
SWEET VINTAGE - paced roughly then broke near the 400m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
LINCOLN MAREE - over-raced middle stages.
LINCOLN LOVER - late scratching at 3.08pm due to being sold.
PROVISEUR - over-raced early and middle stages.
CHANGE TACT - raced wide early.
Race 4   NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS TICKETS ON SALE JUNIOR DRIVERS MOB PACE
WALTZING WITH MIKI - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m.
SEA OF LOVE - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m.
CAULFIELD - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m.
ANOTHER COLLECT - lay in leaving the final turn and early in the run home.
TIPSTAR - Co-Trainers P & V Blanchard were issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification of driver. Broke near the 1400m when racing to the inside of ANOTHER COLLECT hampering trailing runners but soon settled. After questioning Driver N Delany and viewing the replays it was established that Mr Delany had initially resisted the inward movement of ANOTHER COLLECT when on terms with that runner however had then desisted when ANOTHER COLLECT gained the advantage but contact had occurred shortly afterwards when the respective sulky wheels cleared. Given the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Delany of his obligations given similar circumstances in the future. Weakened in the run home.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m and dislodged a track marker when taking evasive action. Held up late in the run home.
Race 5   DRAX PROJECT AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS MOBILE TROT
KISS MY PIXEL - weakened from the 600m.
PLAY FAST AND LOOSE - lay in contacting track markers approaching the 200m.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - over-raced middle stages.
REWIRI HILL - broke shortly after the start hampering outside runners losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Weakened from the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
BOSS JO - hampered shortly after the start. Had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight before then being held up over the final 50m.
TINKERBELLE - hampered shortly after the start. Junior Driver O Gregory (assisted by J Abernethy) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion rounding the final turn. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Gregory's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on the 27 March up to and including 31 March 2026 (2 days).
CRAZY - pre-race warmed. Trotted roughly in the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 6   JOIN US FOR FLYING MILE NIGHT 2ND APRIL MOBILE PACE
COMMANDER LINCOLN - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Held up throughout the run home.
KING TIDE - paced roughly when held up rounding the final turn.
Race 7   NOC BRILLA MARQUEE TICKETS AVAILABLE HCP TROT
MECHANICA - broke at the start losing considerable ground and trailed the field throughout.
B D CASTLETON - lay in rounding the turns.
