| MCKENDRICK - commenced to weaken rounding the final turn. | TIPSTAR - Co-Trainers P & V Blanchard were issued with a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for the late notification of driver. Broke near the 1400m when racing to the inside of ANOTHER COLLECT hampering trailing runners but soon settled. After questioning Driver N Delany and viewing the replays it was established that Mr Delany had initially resisted the inward movement of ANOTHER COLLECT when on terms with that runner however had then desisted when ANOTHER COLLECT gained the advantage but contact had occurred shortly afterwards when the respective sulky wheels cleared. Given the circumstances Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Mr Delany of his obligations given similar circumstances in the future. Weakened in the run home. | |
| RAGNAR LOTHBROK - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 1400m and dislodged a track marker when taking evasive action. Held up late in the run home. | |

| TINKERBELLE - hampered shortly after the start. Junior Driver O Gregory (assisted by J Abernethy) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion rounding the final turn.
