Race 1   SYNCROFLEX SUPERIOR EQUINE & CANINE SUPPLEMENTS MOBILE PACE
JACK'S EYRE - additional seat padding came adrift near the 650m and fell to the track. It was established that this gear had been sufficiently taped prior to coming adrift with no further action deemed necessary.
DIDJASHOUTTHEBAR - paced roughly after the start. Briefly placed in restricted room over the concluding stages when an outside runner shifted inwards marginally. Driver J Buckland-Stevens was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
OFF THE EDGE - held up early in the run home.
WARLOCH - when questioned regarding the performance driver M House advised that due to the sedate tempo and the one out line failing to establish, he had been forced to progress forward and race parked which had taken its toll on the gelding.
Race 2   SYNCROFLEX HA COMPLETE TROT
DIDN'T DI - hampered by a breaking runner near the 250m.
SCHOEMAKER - slow to begin. Lay inwards when weakening final bend.
THERE YOU GO - broke rounding the first bend hampering a trailing runner and was unable to be restrained by driver P Davis for a considerable distance losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
HUCKLEBERRY - broke near the 250m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
BIG AL - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
STEELINTHEHEEL - weakened in the run home.
Race 3   SYNCRO-GASTRO PACE
There was a delay to the start due to CAPTAIN KIWI being in the incorrect position after being fractious with the field turned away to readdress the barriers. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DELIGHT WITH ME - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1100m.
CAPTAIN KIWI - refused to take up its allocated position prior to the restart and stood on the mark losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start.
ENOKA - weakened final bend.
SAM SNEAD - broke near the 2000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TAIKA - broke near the 1100m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 4   SYNCROCALM EXTRA MOBILE PACE
THE HIGHLANDER - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
LORD MUDRICK - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
SOFIA ROSE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer K Fairbairn advised the mare had been racing without luck and had been suited by a drop back in grade today combined with being able to dictate terms in front.
ARTMORE - weakened final bend.
PLAYING WITH STARS - out of position at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver J Dunn. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
SWEET GLORY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
Race 5   SYNCROFLEX DUAL HA MOBILE PACE
FOX TERROR - momentarily placed in restricted room by WOODLEA DIAMOND racing into the first bend and raced inside and struck track markers with one being dislodged. Stewards questioned drivers B Orange (FOX TERROR) and K Cameron (WOODLEA DIAMOND) regarding this and after hearing their explanations it was established that WOODLEA DIAMOND had shifted inwards when clear however had been slow to react due to hanging outwards and when being restrained FOX TERROR had lay inwards which had contributed to the incident. After viewing the films which confirmed this, Stewards took the matter no further.
WOODLEA DIAMOND - lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.
BIG GEE - weakened from the 600m.
SWEET WILLOW - Weakened in the run home.
Race 6   SYNCROFLEX REGULATE (CONCESSION JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
IAMTHECAPTAINNOW - held up final bend.
DOWN A HUNDY - lay inwards in the run home having to be corrected by driver H Sail.
Race 7   SYNCROFLEX EXPRESS MOBILE TROT
NOAH MAGNIFIC - weakened in the run home.
JACCKA BAYLIS - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
KINGAROY - held up final bend.
BANGKOK BETTY - broke near the 1100m losing all chance.
MODE - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
BAFFLED - raced wide until being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1250m. Lost ground on the body of the field from the 1000m. Weakened final bend. Trainer J Gray advised he would have blood tests taken in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
THE MERC - pre-race warmed.
SILVERLININGS - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
SOLEMN SON - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BLUEY - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
PEAKNMONKEY - back from the unruly position at the start.
SWITCH ON - over-raced middle stages.
Race 8   SYNCROFLEX SUPERIOR EQUINE & CANINE SUPPLEMENTS PACE
CHANGEFORTHEBETA - slow to begin before laying outwards and pacing roughly in the early stages.
HI HOPES - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
HEZ A LOCH - raced wide early.
LOUIE VISTA - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again after 100m when awkwardly placed close to the back of CHANGEFORTHEBETA losing further ground. Stewards will speak to driver D Williams regarding this in the coming days. Weakened final bend.
GENERAL REBECK - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages.
SANTANNA MACH - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
