Race 1   DUNEDIN CITY MOTORS MOBILE PACE
JACCKA OMNI - lay in through the middle stages of the run home having to be straightened by driver A Milne.
SWEET ESPRESSO - broke in the score up losing all chance with the overcheck coming adrift in consequence. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
LOTTIE'S LUCK - over-raced early and middle stages.
MAGNETIC ROXIE - late scratching on veterinary advice at 8.23am. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the mare resuming.
Race 2   OTAGO PAINTING SOLUTIONS HANDICAP TROT
FILLYOURBOOTS - slow over the early stages. Broke again near the 1600m losing all chance. Lost the left front racing plate when in a break.
JAY BEE HILL - fractious prior to the start. Driver M Williamson advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
RONDO TROUBLE - over-raced middle stages. Lay out leaving the final bend and was then held up early stages of the run home. Broke near the 200m losing all chance.
KAY'S TOO COOL - broke at the start losing all chance.
BORN TO ROCK - slow over the early stages.
ROYAL AHEARN - slow over the early stages.
DELLA'S FELLA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 200m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Stewards lodged a protest against this runner's 4th placing under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging DELLA'S FELLA had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. After viewing the replays driver K Tomlinson did not contest the protest and DELLA'S FELLA was disqualified by the Stewards.

HAVARTI ARDEN - broke near the 1800m hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Weakened final bend.
PARADISE VALLEY - lay inwards early stages of the run home.
AUTUMN BELLE - lay inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
PACIFIC ARC - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1800m. Broke briefly near the 1700m.
CRUISING FONTANA - held up final bend.

LORD FANTASY - over-raced early stages.
SHARE A DREAM - awkwardly placed near the sulky wheel of FOREVER ARDEN leaving the final bend.
THE ORANGE ROUGHY - held up final bend.
THREEBEERSDEEP - raced wide early.
TUNEINSPORTSFANS - raced wide early.
FOREVER ARDEN - shifted out then lay out leaving the final bend hampering an outside runner. Driver R McIlwrick was issued with a warning for the manner he shifted ground.
