Race 1   DC INSTALLATION & MTF MOBILE PACE
GEORGIE ZUKOV - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1450m.
JUSTA TERRA - paced roughly after 150m having to be steadied. Held up early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the gelding had travelled well during the running however had failed to respond when placed under pressure and he was disappointed with the effort.
LOGAN ROCK - held up early in the run home. Driver R Close advised the gelding had cast a shoe during the running.
MOTOR MOUTH - weakened in the run home.
FRANCO TIM - driver G Thornley was issued a warning for the manner she drove when easing the pace near the 1450m resulting in trailing runners being hampered. Miss Thornley was also issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
PLAYING WITH STARS - trainer T Bagrie was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race with removable deafeners which had not been notified. Hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1450m. Raced wide from the 1200m. Weakened from the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Bagrie advised the mare had flipped its palate and he would be making gear changes prior to racing next. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
JACK'S EYRE - raced wide from the 1000m.
SWEET GLORY - hampered by an easing of the pace near the 1450m. Raced wide from the 900m. Weakened in the run home.
HARRY BELAFONTE - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
HEAVEN FORBID - trainer R Cameron was issued a warning for presenting the gelding to race without the notified anti choke device. Raced wide early.

MAJESTIC TRIX - broke at the start losing all chance.
CHOCOLATE ANGUS - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver M Alfeld was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein on one occasion and with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BEYOND EXPECTATIONS - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver J Smith advised that despite racing parked from the 1200m he was disappointed with the effort of the gelding.
GIMME THREE STEPS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 1100m and the 800m with the gelding continuing on in a break despite the efforts of driver B Orange losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
Race 3   BRENDON FRIEL APPRECIATION CLUB MOBILE PACE
QUICKER THE BETTOR - trainer F Scott was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race without a number. Out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Hill. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend and struck track markers.
TACT FRANCO - hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
RYELLA - over-raced middle stages. Weakened leaving the final bend hampering trailing runners.
BELLA CIAO - the blinds were removed prior to the start after the mare warmed up unfavourably. Hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
ROCKING RUBY - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to notify the filly would be racing with fixed deafeners and blinds. Paced roughly leaving the final bend.
THE SEAMSTRESS - over-raced early stages. Hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
MISS WOODVILLE - raced wide early. Hampered by a weakening runner leaving the final bend.
TOFFEE POTTS - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.

There was a delay to the start due to the Starter not being satisfied with the manner in which the field addressed the barriers with all runners being turned out of line.
JOANY BABY - held up early in the run home.
NATIVES INFERNO - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
A REASON TO FIGHT - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
BIRSTALL BABE - raced wide from the 800m.
DIAMOND HARBOUR - broke after 150m losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer K James.
GINAS MAJESTY - broke after 150m losing ground. Held up early in the run home and trotted roughly. Driver J Morrison advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
GO HOME DENISE - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground. Raced wide with cover from the 800m. Again trotted roughly in the run home.

DELIGHTINGOLD - late scratching at 12.55pm on Veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
SPICEY LOU - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
MARBLE ARCH - co-trainers C & C Dalgety were issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to notify the gelding would be racing with removable deafeners and blinds.
FOREMAN FOX - hung inwards and broke near the 1600m checking trailing runners losing ground. Paced roughly and broke again near the 500m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
LAST HONOURS - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - raced wide early. Weakened in the run home.
THERE HE GOES - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1600m.
HARRY'S GOLD - checked by the breaking FOREMAN FOX near the 1600m and paced roughly after striking the sulky wheel of that runner. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
SAM SNEAD - broke after 100m losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed. Held up middle stages of the run home.
HUNTER HILLS - broke at the start and continued on in a break for a considerable distance despite the efforts of driver S Tomlinson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 1650m losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer N Taylor.
SHEZA TRENDY ONE - raced wide early.
JACCKA BAYLIS - weakened early in the run home.
MAROUBRA - broke near the 300m losing all chance.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 7   MUSCLE MOUNTAIN & CAPTAIN COOL (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when ANYTIME AT ALL broke in the score up checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver T Duley elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
ANYTIME AT ALL - held up for clear racing room inside the final 150m.
FLYAWAY - weakened early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance connections advised the mare had worked hard in the early stages to obtain a forward position with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MY TEN GUITARS - driver S Payne advised one hopple shortener failed to activate after becoming entangled.
OCEAN OF TEARS - driver D Williams was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home.
KATYS SHADOW - fractious prior to the first attempt at a start and refused to parade in the pre-race formation requiring assistance from the Clerk of the Course and a starting attendant causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Harrison advised the mare had worked hard in the early stages to obtain the lead with the effort taking its toll. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 8   THE MNM MOBILE PACE
LOUIS - broke shortly after the start checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened in the run home.
WHATZ MY CHOICE - raced greenly for a distance passing the 1200m when unsuccessfully attempting to improve to the lead. Driver C Dalgety was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance, Mr Dalgety advised the gelding had peaked on its run after working hard through the middle stages and he expected the horse would derive considerable benefit from its first start back from a spell.
QUINN - raced keenly when wide on the track in the early stages and was restrained to the rear of the field. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Held up for clear racing room in the middle stages of the run home.
FAREWELL SPIT - over-raced middle stages.
STYLE COUNCIL - checked by a breaking runner in the early stages.
ZARLINI - held up throughout the run home.
HOPE FOR LOVE - held up throughout the run home.
PIONEER - driver J Morrison was issued a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. When questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised today's race was a drop back in grade from previous starts and the gelding had received an economical run throughout.
JAY R TOLKIEN - paced roughly near the 1700m. Weakened in the run home.
Race 9   WAIHORA RFC TROT
BULLIT TRAIN - crowded by an inside runner approaching the 100m and trotted roughly.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - broke at the start losing ground.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - driver J Young-Grant was issued a warning for crowding an outside runner when shifting ground approaching the 100m.
MISTER - trainer C Buchan was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the gelding to race without the notified pacifier which was fitted prior to completing its preliminary.
JASPRIT TROUBLE - held up for the majority of the run home. Junior driver R Harrison (assisted by J Dunn) was issued a warning for the manner she shifted ground near the 700m resulting in the gelding becoming awkwardly placed for a distance between MUSCLYNN and TESSAMAE.
TESSAMAE - held up throughout the run home.
VALYRIAN - broke near the 1700m losing ground.
LAUZELLE - broke after 150m losing ground. Raced greenly near the 1700m.
Race 10   MEGAN SWAIN RACING PACE
There was a delay to the start due to BRANDI SNAPP requiring a change of sulky.
There was a further delay due to GOODOLDAYZ being fractious with all runners being turned out of line. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. GOODOLDAYZ continued to display poor barrier manners and was sent to the unruly position by the Starter where the horse will remain for future standing starts.
GOODOLDAYZ - stood on the mark taking no part in the race. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
TOPAZ - held up early in the run home.
THE COALMAN - broke shortly after the start checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver S Ottley was issued a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
BRANDI SNAPP - broke at the start checking a trailing runner losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened in the run home.
LAVRA ROSE - raced greenly passing the 1800m when leading.
WAIKAKA - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
TEMPO WARRIOR - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke losing ground.
KIRKMAN - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Weakened leaving the final bend. Driver T Chmiel was issued a warning for using his whip on a runner out of contention.
Race 11   TEAM HUTCHINSON FORD MOBILE PACE
NORMIE STEAD - held up early in the run home.
FOLIEJON STAR - weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance trainer B Negus advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
ASK ME LAZARUS - weakened in the run home.
PACIFIC THUNDER - weakened in the run home.
DIVINE MERCY - paced roughly leaving the final bend before breaking in the run home and was retired from the race. Attended to by the on course Veterinarian and transported from the track in the Horse Ambulance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a suspected fracture to the left hind leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
TAUMUTU LAD - raced wide early.
TYPHOON TERE - driver C Dalgety advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
ZEUS - retired from the race near the 1600m after the near side back hopple loop had broken. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after it was established the hopple had broken prior to the start. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition with trainer B Thomas deemed not to be at fault.
