Race 1   RACING TOWARDS A CURE. LET'S GO, TEAM TEAL! MOBILE PACE
WHYAMIHERE - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages.
BRILLIANT CHASE - struck and raced inside track markers near the 150m. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had not gained an advantage when racing inside track markers in the run home. Driver S Hill was issued a warning.
ROUTE SIXTY SIX - held up middle stages of the run home.
EMMA SWAN - raced wide early.
MONKEE MAJOR - over-raced middle stages.
ARMA HUNTER - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1200m.
HUGO - paced roughly near the 900m after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of JUKEBOX GYPSY. A post-race veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed a small laceration to the left fore cannon bone which was treated.
Race 2   CRAIC & RACING RACE NIGHT-20 MARCH. BOOK NOW MOBILE TROT
ALICE IN DREAMLAND - the anti choke device was removed prior to the start after the mare warmed up unfavourably.
MYSARIA - trotted roughly early in the score up losing ground and was out of position at the candy pole. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
STUARTS BULLER BOY - trainer A Faulks was issued a warning for being late to present the gelding on course. Briefly locked wheels with NEIL WILLIAM racing into the first bend.
I'M CONNECTED - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early.
VOLSTONE - hung outwards when weakening rounding the final bend and struck a track marker when being corrected.
NEIL WILLIAM - briefly locked wheels with STUARTS BULLER BOY racing into the first bend.
LORDE FRANCO - broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Broke again near the 800m losing ground.
BULLET - forced to race four wide from the 700m.
Race 3   WOODLANDS STUD 'KNOWS THE IMPORTANCE OF TEAM TEAL' MOB PACE
AARDIE'S A STAR - weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 4   TOUCHDOWN RENTALS 'YOUR LOCAL KIWI CAR RENTAL' HCP PACE
LESTER - broke at the start losing ground. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER - began awkwardly.
LONNEKERS - broke in the early stages losing considerable ground. Lay inwards when weakening leaving the final bend.
SPIRIT DOWNUNDER - stood on the mark losing ground.
TANZANIA - hung inwards and locked wheels with AKATEA near the 950m unbalancing driver G O'Reilly hampering a trailing runner. Mr O'Reilly admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted outwards near the 1050m forcing SEASIDE ROSE to race wider on the track. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
AKATEA - locked wheels with TANZANIA which hung inwards near the 950m.
SEASIDE ROSE - forced wider on the track near the 1050m when TANZANIA shifted outwards. Hampered near the 950m.
SLOTS - pre-race warmed. Weakened leaving the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver A Butt advised the gelding had been unsuited to the strong tempo when racing in the parked position.
Race 5   DJ PARKYN 'PUTTING COLOUR BACK IN CANTERBURY' HCP TROT
WATERLOO STATION - held up middle stages of the run home.
ROCK LOBSTER - began awkwardly. Trotted roughly for a distance passing the 2100m.
ZOLTAN BOSCIK - fractious prior to the start resulting in the gelding backing away into the 20 metre barrier strand causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung outwards rounding the final bend. Weakened in the run home. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
FREYA - raced wide from the 800m.
MOSES - when questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised she was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation.
HELLOVEAMOMENT - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again after 200m losing all chance.
DREAM OF YOU - raced wide from the 950m. Broke passing the 400m losing all chance.
Race 6   THE LEGEND THAT'S MARTIN LARTER AUTUMN FFA (MOBILE PACE)
BAZOOKA - after returning to the stabling area and cooling down, connections requested a veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to be lame in the near hind leg and was treated by the Veterinarian. Connections advised xrays will be taken and undertook to notify the results to Stewards. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
WE WALK BY FAITH - over-raced middle stages.
Race 7   COMMODORE HOTEL FOR ALL YOUR ACCOMMODATION NEEDS MOB PACE
MIGHTY FLYING LOU - lay inwards final bend striking a track marker.
COMMANDER JOE - over-raced middle stages.
SONG SUNG BLUE - held up final bend and early in the run home.
WARRIOR CHIEF - raced wide from the 1100m.
KOWHAI STAR - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide with cover from the 900m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND PROUDLY SUPPORTS TEAM TEAL HCP TROT
TU TANGATA - held up late in the run home. Driver P Nairn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
ASPIRATIONAL DREAM - broke at the start losing all chance. Authorisation of placings was withheld after driver J Morrison wished to view replays of the start and after doing so was satisfied he had not been denied a fair start and did not wish to proceed with a protest.
HARRIET'S MOMENT - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again near the 200m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
HOOF IT HAGRID - the boring pole was removed prior to the start due to the gelding warming up unfavourably. Trotted roughly after 200m.
PETITE TRIXTON - over-raced middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver S O'Reilly advised the mare had failed to settle when racing in the parked position with the effort taking its toll.
MM SUNSHINE - the required veterinary clearance was received. Held up throughout the run home.
B D HALL - pre-race warmed.
Race 9   OWNERS' NIGHT 27 MARCH 'LOCK IT IN' MOBILE PACE
MIKI MAGNIFICENT - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
FRANCO SUBLIME - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
NANSANA - hung outwards near the 900n having to be steadied resulting in an easing of the pace with trailing runners being hampered. Held up late in the run home. Driver K Butt advised the filly had raced greenly.
BOY RACER - driver J Cox advised the gelding had been striking the sulky wheel discs on occasions during the running.
TIDY KIWI - raced wide early. Hampered near the 900m after a slight easing of the pace when becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of SEASIDE BRUCIE and lost ground with a trailing runner being checked. Raced wide from the 900m. Weakened final bend.
STEVIE MY BOY - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
VALOROUS - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the filly had worked hard in the early and middle stages to obtain the lead however he was slightly disappointed with the effort.
EYES OF AN ANGEL - over-raced middle stages. Driver B Williamson advised the filly had been striking the sulky wheel discs.
SEASIDE BRUCIE - over-raced early and middle stages.
KING'S COMMAND - raced wide early.Hampered near the 900m losing ground.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
KEEPING IT KIWI - weakened final bend.
SACETAS - raced wide early. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1000m. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
BURNHAM GIRL - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1150m. Weakened final bend.
MY WINGMAN - raced wide early. Driver S Thornley was issued a warning for the manner he attempted to shift ground near the 1600m. Held up final bend and early in the run home.
MAJOR PERFORMER - connections advised the mare would be racing in season. Weakened final bend.
