| OUTBACK MAN - over-raced on occasions from the 1400m causing driver B Orange some difficulty and contacted the sulky wheel of SIDE HUSTLE near the 1200m. | |
| SIDE HUSTLE - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1200m when contacted by OUTBACK MAN (B Orange) with the tyre coming off the rim. Stewards spoke with drivers B Orange and B Barclay (SIDE HUSTLE) regarding this incident. After hearing from both drivers and reviewing the films it was established there was some outwards movement from SIDE HUSTLE, which was racing greenly at this stage of the race, simultaneous to some contributing inwards movement from OUTBACK MAN. Mr Orange confirmed that his runner had been over-racing at times prior to contacting the sulky wheel. The matter was accordingly deemed a racing incident with no further action required. | |
