Race 1   CRAIG & DYLAN HEYRICK @ HARCOURTS SUPPORTS ST JOHN MOB PACE
PARTY UP DENARIO - weakened from the 800m hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG before completing one trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming.
RAMBLIN ROVER - over-raced middle stages. Raced wide final bend.
VAN LIBERTY - raced wide until reaching the parked position passing the 1650m.
BAUTISTA - lost contact with the body of the field through the middle stages.
ITSALLABOUTTHEMONEY - lay in contacting a track marker near the 1250m. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 800m.
SHEZZA VINNY - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver K Tomlinson advised she was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery.
Race 2   CRAIG /DYLAN HEYRICK @ HARCOURTS SUPPORTS TEAM TEAL HCP TROT
DAISYMEROLLIN - pre-race warmed. Lay in leaving the final bend contacting several track markers.
THE BRUISER - pre-race warmed. Slow away. Broke passing the 1700m losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
KYLE LOCH - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Lay in on the bends throughout.
SHE'S GOT SASS - trotted roughly passing the 1600m and then again passing the 1400m losing ground. Weakened final bend.
PONTIFF - broke passing the 1800m losing considerable ground. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until the Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 3   DIAMONDS DAY - 26 APRIL MOBILE PACE
GINERVA - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.
Race 4   WIN A DIAMOND RING ON DIAMONDS DAY MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared when RAKATURBO and MY GAL JUNE refused to score up. A warning was placed on the barrier records of both horses. RAKATURBO and MY GAL JUNE were sent to the outside Unruly positions for the restart where they will remain for future mobile starts.
RAKATURBO - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1400m. Over-raced in the middle stages.
MY GAL JUNE - again refused to score up in the restart and took no part in the race. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a mobile start prior to resuming. Following the race Stewards reviewed the footage of the start and declared MY GAL JUNE a non-runner pursuant to Rule 213(1)(e) due to unsatisfactory manners prior to the start.
TREASURE CHEST - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
SANTIAGO - driver K Larsen admitted a charge under Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) that he shifted ground outwards near the 1050m forcing ACE OF SPADES wider on the track. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.

Race 5   ALABAR NZ 'SOUTHERN SUPREMACY STAKES' HT 2 MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed 3 minutes at the request of the TAB.
FRANCO LENNON - paced roughly rounding the final bend. Lay out throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver T Williams.
CRUISE MAGUIRE - lay out throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver B Williamson.
REIMBURST - caretaker trainer C Ferguson was issued with a warning for failing to have the correct colours available.
STUMBLIN IN - lay out throughout the run home despite the efforts of driver B Orange.
Race 6   APPARELMASTER HANDICAP TROT
PYRAMID ROSE - reared as the start was effected then broke shortly after losing ground. Held up rounding the final bend. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until the Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed. Broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground.
Race 7   BETAVET NZ MOBILE PACE
NUTCRACKER - held up early stages of the run home.
DENY EVERYTHING - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver W House reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 8   EQUINE PRODUCTS NZ TROT
ROSEANNA - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
GRANNY ROSE - broke rounding the first bend hampering trailing runners losing considerable ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Over-raced middle stages.
LA DAMA - broke rounding the first bend losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 350m.
MAJESDIX - driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
OUR SUPERFUND - broke near the 350m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
FATHER NED - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
CALL DUDLEY - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
FIR - eased down and retired from the event near the 1000m by driver M Hill who advised the mare had choked down. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed FIR had choked down. Trainer G McClymont advised she would be making gear changes.
Race 9   COUNTRY MANOR AT ASCOT PARK MOBILE PACE
WARD LAMON - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Junior driver M Kyle, assisted by K Larsen, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) that she drove carelessly near the 150m when shifting ground outwards and contacting the sulky wheel of RISING STORM resulting in the tyre puncturing. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - held up leaving the final bend.
RISING STORM - driver P Hunter reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 150m.
DRAGON POWER - raced wide early.
THE REAL CRUNCH - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer A Black advised the gelding had been freshened and performed well at a recent workout, adding he was not surprised by the forward showing.
HAZER - lay in early stages of the run home.
MR PRESIDENT - raced wide early.
SUPERFAST - paced roughly in the score up. Held up over the concluding stages of the run home. Driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 10   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
OUTBACK MAN - over-raced on occasions from the 1400m causing driver B Orange some difficulty and contacted the sulky wheel of SIDE HUSTLE near the 1200m.
SIDE HUSTLE - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1200m when contacted by OUTBACK MAN (B Orange) with the tyre coming off the rim. Stewards spoke with drivers B Orange and B Barclay (SIDE HUSTLE) regarding this incident. After hearing from both drivers and reviewing the films it was established there was some outwards movement from SIDE HUSTLE, which was racing greenly at this stage of the race, simultaneous to some contributing inwards movement from OUTBACK MAN. Mr Orange confirmed that his runner had been over-racing at times prior to contacting the sulky wheel. The matter was accordingly deemed a racing incident with no further action required.
