Junior Driver L Hibell, assisted by S McCaffrey, admitted a charge in that she drove carelessly entering the first turn when contacting the sulky wheel of MIKI MIRAGE resulting in the tyre puncturing. Ms Johnson further explained that as a result of this she had been reluctant to place the gelding under pressure as she felt it would break. Ms Johnson also advised that she would be recommending gear changes to connections. Stewards noted her comments.
