HE AINT FAKIN - broke near the 1350m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
KRACKALING - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1350m.
JIMMY CARTER - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
FIERY BANDITO - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied FIERY BANDITO had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
Race 6   CADUCEUS CLUB OF SOUTHLAND/ALABAR FILLIES CLASSIC (MOB PACE)
RAKATAYCAN - hung outwards racing into the first bend placing driver C Dalgety in difficulty and made contact with the sulky of FREEDOM SWEET and stumbled, hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Again hung outwards near the 1800m contacting the sulky of CARRERA PRECIOSO hampering a trailing runner. Weakened from the 600m.
CARRERA PRECIOSO - hampered racing into the first bend. Sulky contacted by an inside runner near the 1800m. Hung inwards throughout the run home.
FREEDOM SWEET - sulky heavily contacted by an inside runner racing into the first bend. Placed in restricted room leaving the final bend contacting a track marker.
CRUNCHY GAL - hampered racing into the first bend. Placed in restricted room leaving the final bend.
SANDO DENARIO - held up final bend.
BAILEYS BEAUTY - hampered racing into the first bend. Lay in leaving the final bend placing inside runners in restricted room.
AALIYAH - hampered racing into the first bend. Again hampered near the 1800m.
Race 7   MOUNTFORT FISHING COMPANY HANDICAP TROT
The front barrier strand became entangled around the leg of KRACKA LOOKA as the start was effected however neither of the two inside runners were inconvenienced by this.
MISTER - fractious prior to the start requiring the assistance of a Starting Attendant, causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
XERION - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 400m.
TILLABERI - broke near the 1800m losing all chance.
PYRAMID ROSE - broke near the 400m hampering trailing runners losing ground.
JACCKA ACE - slow to begin.
IMPERIAL MAN - broke near the 1300m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MOR MOONLIGHT - hampered by a Starting Attendant as the start was effected and broke briefly losing ground. Following the race, after speaking with with driver K Green and Starter B Ward and reviewing the footage of the start Stewards declared MOR MOONLIGHT a non-runner pursuant to Rule 213(1)(j) due to being denied a fair start.
Race 8   MACCA LODGE NORTHERN SOUTHLAND CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
ALWAYS DREAMING - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
BEACH DAY - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
MACANDREW AVIATOR - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DOUBLE JEOPARDY - broke at the start and shifted outwards hampering an outside runner, losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the horse. Raced wide from the 1000m.
HADRON COLLIDER - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Returned to the stabling area with minor abrasions to the near hind leg which were treated by the oncourse Veterinarian.
VESSEM - the required Veterinary clearance was received.
Race 9   NSVETS MOBILE PACE
