Co-trainer B Hope advised Stewards on 25 February that LOVE WALKED IN will be freshened prior to resuming.
Trainer B Butt advised Stewards on 25 February that blood tests taken from READY SET JET following its last start revealed no abnormalities and the gelding will be sent for a spell.

Race 1   DIAMOND RACING LOT 54 SHARES AVAILABLE MOBILE PACE
FOX TERROR - broke in the score up losing ground. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
OFF THE EDGE - struck and raced inside the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver A Edge was issued a warning.
SWEET N SASSY - required assistance from a Starting Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Held up late in the run home and paced roughly after striking the sulky wheel of OFF THE EDGE. Driver M Maynard was issued a warning. Mr Maynard advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
WARLOCH - over-raced middle stages.
FUSION REACTOR - slow to leave the pre-race formation and was out of position at the start. Driver S Murtha was issued a warning.
MOUTON CADET - broke near the 450m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

LADY LUCINDA - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
DIEDRE FRANCO - slow to begin.
SOLEMN SON - hung inwards at various stages throughout.
BIG AL - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. Driver S Clarke advised he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
BAFFLED - raced wide early.
MODE - late scratching at 12.30pm on Veterinary advice.
MEANDAD - trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out.
BLUEY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Trotted roughly in the run home when weakening.

AR GEE RULZ - over-raced early stages when being restrained in an attempt to obtain cover. Weakened early in the run home.
HEAVEN - over-raced early and middle stages.
ESTER LUCY - late scratching at 12.45pm on Veterinary advice.
NORMIE STEAD - when questioned regarding the performance driver R Harrison advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MY TEN GUITARS - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.

MIKKO KOIVU - trotted roughly near the 950m. Weakened from the 600m hampering trailing runners.
PRINCE TEKA - weakened early in the run home.
GINAS MAJESTY - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 700m losing all chance.
KINGAROY - held up final bend.
CROWN THE MOMENT - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m.
SILVERLININGS - raced wide early.
PEAKNMONKEY - held up early in the run home.
SWITCH ON - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Trotted roughly in the run home.
DYNASTY - back from the unruly position at the start. Raced wide from the 950m. Driver B Butt advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 5   OWNTHETHRILL.CO.NZ "CHECK IT OUT" MOBILE PACE
DREAM BOYZ - weakened leaving the final bend. Driver T Williams reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - weakened early in the run home.
KOTARE RATA - checked at the start by an outside runner. Raced wide early. Weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised the mare failed to respond to his urgings and had been showing signs of being in season. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SPECIAL EDITION - broke as the start was effected and shifted inwards checking an inside runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
RYELLA - weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
THE TOWN OF LIGHT - held up early in the run home.
SHARDS LYRIC - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Raced greenly late in the run home and shifted up the track.
Race 6   DIAMOND RACING LOT 78 SHARES AVAILABLE MOBILE PACE
CHANGEFORTHEBETA - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer M Purvis advised the gelding had appreciated a drop in grade from recent starts and had been racing without luck.
STUBING - raced wide early. Weakened final bend. Driver S Tomlinson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for speaking to another driver in the preliminary.
SWEET GLORY - held up throughout the run home.
FRANCO TIM - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
SHADOW CREEK - over-raced early stages.
HEAVEN FORBID - hung inwards rounding the final bend causing driver R Cameron difficulty. Held up throughout the run home.
Race 7   DIAMONDRACING.CO.NZ PROVEN WINNERS PACE
LOUIE VISTA - broke at the start losing ground.
PACIFIC THUNDER - broke at the start losing ground.
MIDNIGHT SOPHIA - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
ARCHER - struck the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Driver P Borcoskie was issued a warning.
CHEEKY RED - the required veterinary clearance was received. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

BETTOR N JOY - paced roughly early stages.
OKIWI BAY - attempted to buck and broke briefly early in the score up however was in position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
DIDJASEEMIKI - weakened in the run home.
COURAGE REACTOR - over-raced early stages.
EMMA SWAN - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
