Race 1   STROUD HOMES QUEENSTOWN LAKES MOBILE PACE
BAUTISTA - held up leaving the final bend. Driver B Williamson was issued with a warning for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
SHEZZA VINNY - lay inwards rounding the first bend striking a track marker.
CRUISING FONTANA - out of position at the start. Junior driver M Hill was issued with a warning.
Race 2   FIRTH CROMWELL FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
PREMIER ARDEN - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Over-raced rounding the first bend. Lay in near the 1450m striking a track marker. Held up early in the run home.
MAGNETIC ROXIE - driver B Orange reported the mare had over-raced in the middle stages when leading which had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
HAVTIMEFORDIAMONDS - over-raced in the early stages. Held up early in the run home.
Race 3   BROWN & GEARY BUILDING/FIORDLAND MEATS/SANGSTER ELEC TROT
RONDO TROUBLE - broke passing the 250m losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
HUNTER HILLS - lay outwards and broke shortly after the start when awkwardly placed close to ROSEANNA, losing all chance.
ROSEANNA - broke passing the 1200m losing all chance.
GARONNE - lost the left front plate when trotting roughly in the run home.
JUST GIVEME STRENGTH - broke after 100m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer N Taylor.
ERAGON - slow in the early stages.
WHAT'S THE WHISPER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
DAISYMEROLLIN - slow in the early stages.
Race 4   ANDERSON PARK MOTEL MOBILE PACE
HIGH RETURN - placed in restricted room near the 350m striking track markers, then raced greenly shortly after hampering an outside runner.
RAKATURBO - over-raced in the early and middle stages. Raced wide from the 700m.
STUMPY BLACKLER - shifted inwards placing an inside runner in restricted room momentarily near the 350m. Junior driver N Burton was issued with a warning.
CASH IS KING - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
JACCKA OMNI - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Milne. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early.
BROTHER ROB - raced four wide from the 600m.
Race 5   McNULTY TRANSPORT LTD HANDICAP TROT
There was a delay when Starter B Ward was not satisfied with the manner a number of runners addressed the barrier resulting in the field being turned away to reassemble with TORQUAY STREET sent to the Unruly position by the Starter where the mare will remain for future standing starts.
BEVRON - the sulky seat came adrift shortly after the start placing driver C Ferguson at a disadvantage. Trainer W Low was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix the sulky seat so as not to come adrift.
PONTIFF - trainer J Douglas was issued with a warning after presenting the gelding without the notified pacifier and blinds.
JOANY BABY - broke at the start losing ground. Driver D O'Connell admitted a charge under the Push Out Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted ground outwards near the 1250m forcing MY BONNIE LASS wider on the track. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
MY BONNIE LASS - raced wider on the track near the 1250m when an inside runner shifted out. Weakened final bend.
ONE MHOR FOR HEATHER - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Raced three wide from the 1100m. Weakened final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 6   MOJO JOINERY / HYGAIN - REVELL DOUGLAS SERIES MOBILE PACE
RISE UP N DANCE - junior driver G Goodman was issued with a warning for using her whip in a continuous manner in the run home.
NOW WATCH ME - paced roughly near the 120m having to be steadied by driver W House.
THREEBEERSDEEP - held up early in the run home.
Race 7   ONPOINT WINDSCREEN & GLASS MOBILE PACE
There was a delay to the start due to MATAI LIZZIE requiring farrier attention.
THE ORANGE ROUGHY - junior driver S Hill, who declined the assistance of a senior driver, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300m when shifting ground inwards and contacting the sulky wheel of JUST LIKE JAGGER with the tyre puncturing as a consequence. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Hill's junior driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 1 March up to and including 11 March 2026 (4 days).
RIGHTAZZ - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MR PRESIDENT - raced wide early.
JUST LIKE JAGGER - driver K Green reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 300m.
CAPTAIN AMORE - held up early in the run home.
MYSTIC MAGIC - cleared from the Unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 8   SHANNON FARM TRADIES RACE HANDICAP TROT
KRACKALING - struck and dislodged track markers hampering trailing runners near the 1450m. Driver K Tomlinson was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
RANDEL HUSTON P - lay outwards over the concluding stages.
MM SUNSHINE - hampered and broke passing the 1450m losing ground. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the right hind leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - broke briefly at the start. Hampered near the 1450m. Contacted a track marker final bend. Driver D O'Connell was issued with a warning.
DREAMS PAT - broke passing the 1900m losing ground before settling, then broke again shortly after losing further ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Authorisation of this runner's 4th placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation on both occasions.
STYRAX - broke at the start losing ground. Hampered near the 1450m.
