Race 1   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY METRO TROTTERS HEAT 3 HANDICAP TROT
JASINOVA - delayed the start when requiring assistance from a starting attendant after the mare refused to come up into position. Sent to the outside unruly position where the horse will remain for future standing starts. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
CAVIAR NOIRE - broke approaching the 1000m losing all chance.
KUMANOVO - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
ALMIGHTY - caretaker trainer Z Butcher was issued a warning for presenting the mare to race without the notified blinds. Lay outwards in the early stages.
FEARLESS - trotted roughly in the early stages of the run home. Again trotted roughly just prior to the finish.
EYRE I WILL - crowded by an outside runner just prior to the barriers being released and broke at the start after being checked losing all chance. Authorisation of placings was withheld until Stewards had spoken with driver S Abernethy (EYRE I WILL) and starter F Phelan regarding this matter and after hearing from both parties EYRE I WILL was declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) due to being denied a fair start.
VERY MAJESTIC - fractious prior to the start and swung inwards just prior to the barriers being released crowding an inside runner. Broke at the start losing ground. Hung inwards rounding the first bend before breaking near the 1800m losing all chance.

THE JOLLY ROGER - late scratching at 9.57am on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
LEO LINCOLN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver P Ferguson. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened final bend.
BETTER KNUCKLE UP - raced wide early and middle stages before crossing to the parked position near the 900m.
RUBIRA - out of position at the start. Driver M Purdon was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
HOORAY HENRY - weakened final bend.
Race 3   HARNESS RACING AT RUAKAKA MON 6 APRIL MOBILE PACE
IRON MIKE TYSON - required assistance from a starting attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MAGENTA - locked wheels with an inside runner passing the 400m losing all chance. Stewards questioned junior driver H Moralde Sands (assisted by T Herlihy) regarding this matter and after viewing the replays and hearing from both drivers it was established that the filly while improving quickly rounding the final bend had hung inwards causing Miss Moralde Sands some difficulty when being shifted wider on the track by MERLE MARY which resulted in both runners locking wheels. After considering all factors, Stewards deemed that no further action was required.
DREAM LIGHT - hung inwards rounding the final bend losing ground.
SAMMY LINCOLN - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver H Orange. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MERLE MARY - locked wheels with an outside runner passing the 400m when shifting ground outwards and broke losing all chance.
LULANA - broke shortly after the start losing ground before settling at the rear. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied this runner had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
Race 4   FROCKS AT THE TROTS 27 FEB METRO PACERS HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
SHAKE A LEG - late scratching at 8.30am on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
SAVARNA - lost ground passing the 600m.
HEAVEN HIGH - weakened final bend.
PROVISEUR - over-raced early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.
ALLAMERICANPLAYER - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early. Paced roughly passing the 400m having to be steadied losing ground.
Race 5   ATC SUPPORTS TEAM TEAL METRO PACERS HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed due to the gear on MUCHACHO requiring attention.
AMAZING CAPTAIN - pre race warmed.
TIME FOR CHANGE - late scratching at 1.31pm on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
NAZARE - paced roughly near the 1400m.
MUCHACHO - lay inwards in the score up. Paced roughly over the early stages. Hung inwards and paced roughly at various stages causing driver H Orange considerable difficulty. Had to be strongly restrained off the back of CLOUDING OVER near the 750m. Weakened from the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
FIFTH AND FINAL - paced roughly and broke approaching the 1700m losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 6   BORDER FENCING SERVICES METRO TROTTERS HEAT 4 HCP TROT
I'LL CALL YOU - broke near the 1800m losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800m losing ground. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
HAPPY HILL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
ROYAL SECRET - broke at the start losing ground.
MAJESTIC CRACKER - hung outwards racing along the back straight on the final occasion and again rounding the final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight. Driver T Mitchell advised that he was unable to utilise the passing lane due to the gelding hanging outwards so he elected to shift outwards early in the run home in search of clear racing room.
FINAL APPROACH - began awkwardly and shifted outwards at the start hampering an outside runner.
BARSUKOV - hampered by an inside runner at the start.
RUBBLE ON THE DOUBLE - weakened leaving the final bend.
PARADISE ALI - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 800m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
TWO FRANCS - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 7   BRECKON FARMS YOUNG GUNS 2YO C & G HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
THE JACKAL - weakened in the run home.
SOUTHEND ON SEA - broke as the start was effected losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DELANEY - raced greenly in the score up and was out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver M Purdon. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
Race 8   GALLAGHER INSURANCE YOUNG GUNS 2YO F HEAT 2 MOBILE PACE
LADY DI - trainer N Purdon was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the filly to race without the notified removable deafeners.
ETERNAL PERFECTION - co-trainers T Shaw & J Stephens were issued a warning for presenting the filly with removable deafeners which were not notified.
PRINCESS KREKA - lay inwards rounding the bends. Paced roughly passing the 100m.
QUEEN OF TROY - required assistance from a starting attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
Race 9   QUIZ NIGHT EVERY WED IN THE ALEX JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
MR MIKI - over-raced middle stages.
CHANEL NOIRE - when questioned regarding the performance driver H Orange advised the mare had over-raced during the running with the effort taking its toll.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - lay outwards throughout the run home having to be corrected by driver C Hackett.
