RYLAN CHARLIE - broke late in the score up checking second line runners resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver E Barron elected to remain in her allocated position for the restart.
PACIFIC ARC - paced roughly in the early stages. Raced wide from the 1100m.
SEARING LIGHT - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
PARADISE VALLEY - raced wide from the 1000m.
ALWAYS A MENACE - broke in the score up of the restart and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.

SHE'S GOT SASS - broke briefly shortly after the start losing considerable ground.

HENNESSY - broke racing into the first bend and was retired from the race by driver A Milne. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the left front leg. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
KYLE LOCH - junior driver M Kyle, assisted by A Armour, was spoken to advisedly and reminded of her obligations regarding starting closer in when drawn two the second line.

NANA'S LITTLE TERROR - broke shortly after the start hampering trailing runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400m.
SHERGAR - shied and ducked outwards abruptly passing the 900m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
RIP WHEELER - hampered near the 900m.
SHADOW OF THE MOON - hampered and broke briefly passing the 900m.

MATAI PRISCILLA - hampered near the 1500m. Hampered again by a breaking runner near the 1400m. Hampered on a further occasion near the 900m.
ROBYN ROCKS HEAVEN - broke near the 1400m hampering a trailing runner, losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

GLENDHU MISCHIEF - held up for the majority of the run home. Broke passing the 50m losing its chance.
KAY'S TOO COOL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts.
LADY HARRIET - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400m.
DAISYMEROLLIN - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SHAKEDOWN - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start and broke in consequence losing ground. Broke near the 1400m hampering trailing runners, losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Lost both front plates during the running.
WHAT'S THE WHISPER - driver P Williamson admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip free of the rein on one occasion near the 100m. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a suspension of Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 22 February up to and including 4 March 2026 (3 days).
THE BRUISER - slow in the early stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400m.

GRANNY ROSE - broke racing over the crossing near the 1500m hampering trailing runners, losing ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
MC SQUARED - broke passing the 200m losing all chance.
MAJESDIX - broke near the 1400m losing considerable ground.
ERROL D - broke near the 1300m losing ground.

TWICE THE CHARM - over-raced middle stages.
BABE ON THE BEACH - trainer C Ferguson admitted a charge under Rule 865(2) in that he presented the mare without the notified blinds and anti-choke device. After considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $150.
LYDAH VALLEY - over-raced middle stages.
AUTUMN BELLE - lay inwards rounding the first bend contacting and dislodging several track markers. Broke passing the 1300m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
Race 8   KIM McDOWALL PAINTING TROTTING CUP (HANDICAP TROT)
HIDDEN TALENT - broke for a distance near the 250m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.
FIERY BANDITO - shifted up the track leaving the final bend and in the run home despite the efforts of driver K Green.
Race 9   OLYMPIC WATCHES AT VAN DE WATER JEWELLERS MOBILE PACE
KELTIC TIGER - raced inside the final track marker prior to the passing lane. Junior driver M Kyle, assisted by K Green, was issued with a warning.
LOU'S DEAL - raced wide early stages. Raced three wide from the 1200m.
NYLA - raced three wide from the 1200m.
PUTERE BOY - raced three wide from the 1100m. Held up middle stages of the run home.
Race 10   GORE TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB SUMMER CUP (HANDICAP PACE)
TABASCO - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
BOBBIES ROCK - broke at the start losing ground.
STEP IT UP A NOTCH - broke briefly at the start. Weakened over the concluding stages.
THE BIG LEBOWSKI - weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance of a favoured runner driver B Barclay advised that having to work hard through the middle stages had taken its toll on the gelding. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 11   MARSHALL'S EXCAVATING LTD HANDICAP TROT
NUBLIAH CHAMAY - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 9.22am. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
JACCKA ACE - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke again passing the 200m losing its chance.
IMPERIAL MAN - paced away before breaking passing the 1700m losing ground, then switched back to a pace shortly after having to be broken up by driver R McIlwrick losing all chance.
RANDEL HUSTON P - broke briefly after 200m losing ground.
OUR PINOCCHIO - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500m and broke in consequence losing all chance.
AH DINNAE KEN - broke over the crossing near the 1500m hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.

WARD LAMON - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.
SKY PATROL - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
