A false start was declared due to FOX TERROR breaking in the score up hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Driver S Tomlinson elected to remain in her allocated barrier position for the restart.
INTERRORGATOR - held up early in the run home.
FRANCO TIM - lay inwards near the 1700m and struck a track marker. Held up throughout the run home. Driver G Thornley advised she did not activate the removable deafeners or sliding blinds in consequence.
FOX TERROR - raced wide until reaching the lead near the 1300m. Hung outwards in the early stages of the run home resulting in the gelding having some difficulty obtaining clear racing room early in the run home. Paced roughly near the 150m.
ZEUS - raced wide early. Over-raced near the 1000m and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky of RADIOACTIVE JAFFA resulting in a slight easing of the pace.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - broke in the score up of the restart and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Over-raced middle stages. Hampered by a slight easing of the pace near the 1000m. Raced wide from the 850m.
RADIOACTIVE JAFFA - the required veterinary clearance was received.

ALI SON - broke after 100m losing ground. Broke again near the 1400m and the 1100m losing all chance.

SWEET BREE - lay inwards throughout the run home.

KOTARE RATA - raced wide with cover from the 1100m.
UNICO TESSA - raced wide early. Hampered by an outside runner near the 950m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
HAPPY HARRIET - raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
CONNIE GOLIGHTLY - raced wide from the 1300m.
VESTA - briefly raced four wide near the 1200m after TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT had shifted ground outwards. Stewards investigated a possible breach of the Push Out Rule at this stage however it was established that R Houghton (TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT) had commenced his outward movement prior to VESTA reaching his sulky wheel and accordingly Stewards took the matter no further.
TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT - paced roughly in the early stages. Hung inwards near the 1250m when being shifted wider on the track before racing erratically for a distance when improving to the parked position through the back straight resulting in inside runners being hampered. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly. Trainer/driver R Houghton advised he would return the filly to the Trials prior to resuming.
HONOUR BRIGHT NOTE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 4   CHRIS JONES - BAYLEYS REAL ESTATE PACE
The start was delayed at the first attempt due to the Starter not being satisfied with the manner in which the field addressed the barrier.
AMERICAN TOS - swung outwards as the start was effected hampering a trailing runner. Paced roughly in the run home.
PICK IT UP - fractious prior to the start. Broke at the start and shifted outwards abruptly severely checking WILLOW VALLEY losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts and stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion from a standing start prior to resuming.
WILLOW VALLEY - checked and broke at the start losing all chance.
KENSINGTON MIKE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
YOGI'S COLADA - broke near the 1700m losing considerable ground. Weakened in the run home.
Race 5   TEMPS BAR / MARK TEMPLETON MEMORIAL TROT
DIAMOND HARBOUR - broke in the early stages losing ground. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
DIEDRE FRANCO - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again in the early stages losing all chance.
JUST EASY - the required veterinary clearance was received. Fractious prior to the start and shifted outwards just prior to the start being effected hampering an outside runner. Raced wide early.
BAFFLED - hampered by an inside runner and unable to take up its correct barrier position. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) due to being denied a fair start.
HOLLY HIGHLANDER - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
GINAS MAJESTY - lay inwards and trotted roughly near the 1600m. Again trotted roughly in the run home.
NATIVES INFERNO - broke early in the run home losing all chance.
SWITCH ON - broke in the run home losing all chance.
Race 6   THE PINT & PONY RACING & SPORTS BAR MOBILE PACE
SHADOW CREEK - shifted inwards in the run home crowding an inside runner near the 200m. Driver B Weaver was issued a warning.
CHAL VEE POWER - weakened from the 600m. When questioned regarding the performance driver C DeFilippi advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
NORMIE STEAD - raced wide early. Paced roughly in the run home. Driver R Harrison reported she lost her whip near the 250m.
THE HIGHLANDER - crowded by an outside runner near the 200m. Held up for clear racing room throughout the run home.
MOTOR MOUTH - driver A Cameron reported the gelding cast the near fore shoe in the run home.
EVIDENTLY - over-raced early and middle stages.
Race 7   REVELL DOUGLAS MEMORIAL SERIES JUNIORS DRIVERS (MOBILE PACE)
MY WINGMAN - weakened in the run home.
QUINN - weakened leaving the final bend. Driver M Holbrough advised she was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
JOHN STEWART - shifted into the passing lane in the run home. Driver A Cameron was issued a warning for failing to maintain a straight course in the run home and leave the passing lane clear for trailing runners. Miss Cameron who declined assistance from a senior driver, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Cameron's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 15 February up to and including 25 February 2026 (3 days).
BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE - raced wide early. Driver R Harrison advised she did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
DENNIS DENUTO - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
PERAKI SEELSTER - held up by a weakening runner final bend.
TEMPO WARRIOR - raced wide throughout. Weakened from the 700m.
Race 8   MOORE WALKER DAVEY SEARELLS ACCOUNTANTS TROT
NOBILO - driver C Thornley was warned for the manner he drove late in the run home when shifting ground which crowded outside runners.
SILVERLININGS - broke at the start losing ground.
ROYALGLOW - broke at the start losing all chance. Driver J Ford reported the boring pole broke during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed.
MUSCLYNN - crowded by an inside runner late in the run home.
SOLEMN SON - crowded by an inside runner late in the run home. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
Race 9   CHECK OUT LOT 285 "IMAGE" MOBILE PACE
ACENTO - driver R Holmes became unbalanced in the sulky near the 200m with both feet slipping from the sulky footrests. Mr Holmes reported his seat had slipped causing him difficulty.
GEM N EM - when questioned regarding the improved performance connections advised the mare had been held up for clear racing room throughout the run home at its last start and had received an economical run today.
JUDINE - raced wide early.
BETTOR N JOY - the required veterinary clearance was received.
WOODLEA DIAMOND - raced wide early.
SOFIA ROSE - raced wide early.
FLYAWAY - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home and lay inwards.
APATCHOFGOLD - over-raced middle stages. Held up throughout the run home.

ARTMORE - broke near the 1000m losing ground. Driver G Shand reported a hopple shortener cord had entangled around the connecting strap after being activated.
COUNTRY GOLD - held up early in the run home.
NOT OVER - broke at the start losing ground.
SARGENT HENRY - broke near the 1700m losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 11   CRATE & BARREL TROT
GO HOME DENISE - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
BIRSTALL BABE - trotted roughly early in the run home when held up for clear racing room.
CAPPAHA - held up early in the run home. Driver R Holmes advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
SODS LAW - the required veterinary clearance was received. Lay inwards rounding the final bend and struck a track marker. Weakened early in the run home.
KINGAROY - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
PRINCE TEKA - when questioned regarding the improved performance driver K Cameron advised the gelding had trained on well after racing without luck at its previous start and received an economical run today.
BRIAN BEATT - driver A Tomlinson reported she accidentally dropped her whip near the 450m.

PURE COURAGE - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
FRANCO HUMBIE - hampered by an inside runner early in the run home.
JAY R TOLKIEN - hung outwards rounding the final bend and in the run home with the gelding shifting up the track despite the efforts of driver S Ottley hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
