| EDDIE OSEI - lay out and paced roughly when leading rounding the home turn before breaking near the 300m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. | |

Driver M Hay admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly entering the first turn when shifting inwards when not sufficiently clear of WHO'S YOUR DRAGON which was checked and contacted several track markers as a result, losing ground. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250. | |

| CHANGE TACT - Trainer M White was issued with a warning after the mare was presented without the notified blinds. Shifted in on two occasions over the final stages of the run home when appearing to shy at patrons on the outside fence, having to be corrected. | |

| KINK - Driver M Hay reported that he elected not to activate the deafeners as he was reluctant to place the gelding under undue pressure given that he felt he had no chance of catching the winner. | |
| NAZARETH - when questioned regarding the performance Driver B Wilkins stated that this runner had trotted roughly rounding the final turn having to be steadied however she was pleased with the manner in which the gelding had finished the event off in the run home. | |

| RHAEGAL - raced fiercely before choking down passing the 1150m and shifted inwards falling into the running rail with Driver H Orange being tipped from the sulky. The event was then stopped by Stewards with the assistance of the Clerk of the Course and a no-race declared due to the field having travelled more than a 1000m. RHAEGAL was cleared by the oncourse Veterinarian to be removed from the track without the use of the Horse Ambulance. Underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed small superficial skin lesions and nose bleeding which had stopped. Connections were advised RHAEGAL was stood down until trialing to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver H Orange was examined by St John Ambulance personnel and cleared of any injury. | |
