Race 1   ITM MOBILE PACE
EDDIE OSEI - lay out and paced roughly when leading rounding the home turn before breaking near the 300m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
THE ELITE ATHLETE - raced four wide from the 550m.
BUGALUGS - over-raced middle stages. Held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
INDISPOSED - held up early final turn.
Race 2   JASE SCAFFOLDING MOBILE PACE
BENSON DUDE - held up final turn.
GWENDOLINE MARY - weakened rounding the final turn. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
GENUINE IMITATION - contacted a track marker approaching the 1150m with trailing runners also contacting the marker. Held up early final turn. Driver M Hay admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly entering the first turn when shifting inwards when not sufficiently clear of WHO'S YOUR DRAGON which was checked and contacted several track markers as a result, losing ground. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.

Race 3   OUTBACK TRADING HANDICAP TROT
MASS DISRUPTION - broke shortly after the start and was taken up the track to clear trailing runners losing ground before settling. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - delayed the start when becoming fractious. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
MECHANICA - broke at the start losing all chance.
TIKI - mixed its gait shortly after the start and then broke losing all chance.
SCOOTS - broke near the 600m losing its chance.
EAGLE HANOVER - Trainer J Abernethy was warned for presenting the mare without the notified blinds. Driver K Coppins was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
Race 4   THE TANK GUY MOBILE PACE
MIKI'S MOMENT - lay in rounding the turns.
CHANGE TACT - Trainer M White was issued with a warning after the mare was presented without the notified blinds. Shifted in on two occasions over the final stages of the run home when appearing to shy at patrons on the outside fence, having to be corrected.
Race 5   PRESCOTT MAINTENANCE MOBILE PACE
RUN MASON RUN - lay in and contacted track markers rounding the final turn.
ALWAYS B AN ANGEL - broke entering the first turn losing ground before settling at the rear. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Weakened near the 400m.
CALL SECURITY - lay in rounding the final turn then had to be steadied when racing to the inside of BENJAMIN BUTTON, which shifted in, and lost ground.
MIKI MIRAGE - broke passing the 200m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
SWEET WILLOW - broke in the score up losing all chance. A final warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
Race 6   HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLEONE LYONS HANDICAP TROT
VERONICA JANE - delayed the start when becoming fractious. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
TINKERBELLE - Driver C Hackett reported she did not activate the deafeners or sliding blinds due to having the field covered.
KINK - Driver M Hay reported that he elected not to activate the deafeners as he was reluctant to place the gelding under undue pressure given that he felt he had no chance of catching the winner.
NAZARETH - when questioned regarding the performance Driver B Wilkins stated that this runner had trotted roughly rounding the final turn having to be steadied however she was pleased with the manner in which the gelding had finished the event off in the run home.
Race 7   MKM ORIGINALS MOBILE PACE
RHAEGAL - raced fiercely before choking down passing the 1150m and shifted inwards falling into the running rail with Driver H Orange being tipped from the sulky. The event was then stopped by Stewards with the assistance of the Clerk of the Course and a no-race declared due to the field having travelled more than a 1000m. RHAEGAL was cleared by the oncourse Veterinarian to be removed from the track without the use of the Horse Ambulance. Underwent a Veterinary examination which revealed small superficial skin lesions and nose bleeding which had stopped. Connections were advised RHAEGAL was stood down until trialing to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver H Orange was examined by St John Ambulance personnel and cleared of any injury.
BET ON POLLY - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader.
EL DRAEGO - broke rounding the first turn losing ground before settling.
