Race 1   OTAUTAU VETS MOBILE PACE
NOVEMBER NINE - weakened final bend.
RAMBLIN ROVER - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver H Douglas advised he was disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
SEARING LIGHT - driver B Barclay reported he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord becoming entangled.
ROCKIN ROMAN - out of position at the start. Driver M Hurrell was issued with a warning.
BAUTISTA - paced roughly for several strides near the 50m and was unable to be fully driven out by driver B Williamson.

HONEYCOMB - held up throughout the run home.

Race 3   DARREN KEAST RACING THANKS THE TEAM MOBILE PACE
RISE UP N DANCE - placed in restricted room near the sulky wheel of WILD EAST when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1900m. Junior driver G Goodman, assisted by N Williamson, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly when contacting the sulky wheel of WILD EAST near the 700m resulting in the tyre puncturing and coming off the rim. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.
WILD EAST - the off side sulky tyre deflated and came off the rim near the 700m when contacted by RISE UP N DANCE. Held up rounding the final bend and early stages of the run home.
TASHS BAD GIRL - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
HAZER - over-raced when being restrained to take cover in the early stages. Made contact with the off side sulky wheel of EDICT near the 450m. Hampered by a weakening runner near the 300m. Driver K Tomlinson reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled. Miss Tomlinson admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 450m when contacting the sulky wheel of EDICT resulting in the tyre puncturing. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
THE ORANGE ROUGHY - hampered passing the 1900m and paced roughly in consequence. Hampered by a weakening runner final bend. Held up early stages of the run home.
EDICT - driver M Hurrell reported he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 450m.
JENNY GUMP - placed in restricted room near the sulky wheel of RISE UP N DANCE when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1900m.
SPORTY CHARLIE - driver B Morris was warned for the manner in which he drove when easing the pace after reaching the parked position near the 1900m hampering trailing runners.
TILLY DUNNAGE - placed in restricted room near the sulky wheel of JENNY GUMP when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1900m.
PUTERE BOY - placed in restricted room near the sulky wheel of TILLY DUNNAGE when there was a slight easing of the pace near the 1900m.
Race 4   WREYS BUSH GARAGE MOBILE PACE
SHADOW OF THE MOON - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay advised he was very disappointed and could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
RIP WHEELER - lay in and paced roughly final bend.
LEDGER'S MAID - broke in the score up and was slightly back from its Unruly position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BROTHER ROB - lay out and paced roughly rounding the first bend. Paced roughly passing the 700m losing ground.
Race 5   HIGHWAY SERVICES HANDICAP TROT
ANDY HALL - slow through the early stages. Raced three wide without cover from the 1600m. Weakened final bend.
HUCKLEBERRY - over-raced through the middle stages. Weakened final bend.
ERROL D - broke at the start losing all chance.
JACCKA ACE - pre-race warmed.
JIMMY CARTER - raced three wide with cover through the middle stages. Weakened in the run home.

Race 7   JIMMY DILLON CUP GOLD CHIP FINAL HANDICAP TROT
The start was delayed when gear on MISTER required adjustment.
PHISHING - trainer T Robertson advised the mare would be racing in season. Weakened final bend.
GLENDHU MISCHIEF - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m and broke in consequence losing all chance.
WHAT'S THE WHISPER - broke shortly after the start hampering a trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 300m.
FATHER NED - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 10.45am. Trainer C Faithful was issued with a $400 Minor Infringement Notice for being late to scratch her horse denying another runner a start.
SPIRITINTHESKY - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1000m.
PONTIFF - reared as the start was effected and refused to trot away with the field losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Prior to the authorisation of placings Stewards reviewed the footage of the start and were satisfied the gelding had received a fair start.
JOANY BABY - broke leaving the final bend losing ground. Authorisation of this runner's 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards had reviewed the footage and were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Driver D O'Connell admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300m placing his runner on to the sulky of THE GREEK FREAK causing his own horse to break hampering a trailing runner and losing ground. After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.
MISTER - broke near the 700m hampering a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
THE GREEK FREAK - raced wide from the 2000m. Weakened final bend.
JACCKA JIM - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Retired from the race by driver B Barclay passing the 1100m with the gelding returning to the birdcage enclosure with blood present in both nostrils. A post-race Veterinary examination detected a degree of internal exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage (EIPH). Stood down for the mandatory period of 30 days with connections advised a Veterinary clearance including the results of an endoscopic examination prior to completing a satisfactory trial would be required prior to the gelding resuming.
MY BONNIE LASS - raced wide from the 2000m. Weakened final bend.
HOBBS - raced wide from the 2000m.

SHARE A DREAM - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.

WARD LAMON - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m.
BEAUDIENE QUICK STEP - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Weakened over the concluding stages.
FOREVER ARDEN - lay in near the 1600m when attempting to take the lead having to be straightened by driver R McIlwrick. Weakened from the 700m. When questioned regarding the performance Mr McIlwrick advised the gelding had worked hard in the middle stages and this had taken its toll. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
CAPTAIN AMORE - hampered by a weakening runner near the 700m. Held up leaving the final bend.
MAJOR BOY - paced roughly in the early stages. Weakened from the 800m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance driver H Douglas could offer no explanation. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding.
