Race 1 - HRS CONSTRUCTION (AMATEUR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
Driver W Frost (HES SANTAS EXCUSE) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when contacting the back of a breaking runner near the 350m. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Frost's Amateur Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 8 February up to and including 8 March 2026 (1 month).

Race 10 - DAWE CONTRACTING LTD - SHORE ACCOUNTING SOLUTIONS MOB PACE
Junior driver M Holbrough (ROCKOUTRAY) assisted by S Tomlinson, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that she used her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion and in a continuous manner in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Miss Holbrough's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 15 February up to and including 22 February 2026 (3 days).

Race 1   EAST WEST FENCING MOBILE PACE
INTERPOL - held up middle stages of the run home. Struck a track marker near the 70m. Driver B Hope was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice.
CHEEKY RED - raced wide throughout. Hung inwards on occasions through the running when attempting to progress forward. Weakened from the 500m. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised the gelding had hung throughout causing him difficulty. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the right front leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming,
ARTMORE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke near the 500m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. Driver J Cox reported the gelding had been making abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2   PETER CRAIG MEMORIAL TROT
VICTOR RADLEY - broke at the start losing all chance.
NEIL WILLIAM - when questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised the gelding failed to handle the grass track conditions.
GIMME THREE STEPS - broke shortly after the start and refused to settle losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
PHANTOM SPUR - broke near the 750m losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
HELP ME - raced wide early. Driver J Cox reported the gelding had been hanging inwards in the run home.
MITHALI - held up early in the run home.
BULLET - broke briefly and was slow over the early stages. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
CARMEN LUCIA - broke rounding the final bend losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.

WHATSUPMAN - held up early in the run home.
AMERICAN TOS - paced roughly rounding the final bend. Lay inwards throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance driver S Thornley advised the gelding failed to handle the grass track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 4   JOHN MORRISON, KEN McRAE, DAVE McHUGH PACE
LAY ON MACDUFF - broke at the start losing ground. Over-raced middle stages. A side carrier strap came adrift shortly after the start. Trainer D Burrows was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift.
CARRERA VAMOS - broke briefly at the start. Attempted to pull up and broke just prior to the finish resulting in checks to CEE WHATABET and PICK IT UP. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(5) alleging the mare was lapped on at the finish by KENSINGTON MIKE. Connections did not contest the protest and CARRERA VAMOS was relegated to 5th placing by Stewards.
CEE WHATABET - checked by a breaking runner at the finish unbalancing driver J Hay with the sulky being contacted by a trailing runner after the finish line.
ITZ ALL OVER ROVER - over-raced middle stages.
WILLOW VALLEY - broke at the start losing ground. Broke again briefly near the 1500m after a slight easing of the pace.
PICK IT UP - checked by a breaking runner and blundered badly after contacting the sulky of CEE WHATABET after the finish line unbalancing driver C Thornley. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities with the mare being treated with anti-inflammatories by the Veterinarian.
IRISH MIKI - paced roughly in the early stages losing ground. Again paced roughly on several occasions through the running losing ground. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Curtin advised the gelding failed to handle the grass track conditions. Co-trainer G Hope advised the horse's racing in the immediate future would be restricted to all weather tracks. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 5   RAKAIA SEED CLEANING TROT
JUST EASY - late scratching at 1.11pm on Veterinary advice after being injured en route to the course. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
BACARDI DOLL - hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m.
THE WILL - over-raced middle stages and was awkwardly placed close to the sulky of HEZA COOL DUDE near the 700m and broke hampering trailing runners losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
LAUZELLE - driver L O'Reilly reported the gelding had raced greenly throughout.
HEZA COOL DUDE - held up early in the run home.
MAJESTIC MONKEY - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 700m.
MOA MOJITO - raced wide early.
HIGHLY RATED - raced wide early.
ZHUTEE - broke after 100m losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Broke again near the 950m losing all chance.
Race 6   THE HAMISH SCOTT / KIM LAWSON MOBILE PACE
FRANCO HUMBIE - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer B Waldron advised the gelding had been racing without luck in previous starts and had been freshened and also, as reported since last racing, had its hocks treated.
LOGAN ROCK - over-raced middle stages.
OFF THE EDGE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 7   REVELL DOUGLAS MEMORIAL SERIES (STAND PACE)
COUNTRY GOLD - held up final bend. Briefly placed in restricted room by an inside runner early in the run home.
RAPID RESPONSE - held up final bend. Lay outwards early in the run home briefly placing an outside runner in restricted room.
FOLIEJON STAR - broke at the start losing ground.
ULTIMATE COUNSEL - tangled away.
SWIFT GUY - over-raced first bend having to be steadied.
SANTANNA MACH - raced wide early.
JOHNNY ARMA - tangled away. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CARLIN - broke at the start losing ground.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND HORORATA CUP (HCP PACE)
TO RI RUBY - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
BLUE ROCK DANCER - over-raced middle stages. Hung inwards and struck track markers near the 1300m. Weakened final bend.
COMMANDER BEN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LESTER - broke at the start losing ground. Held up early in the run home. Became awkwardly placed behind KISS THE GIRLS and contacted the sulky wheel when there was an easing of the pace near the 300m. Lay inwards near the 220m having to be straightened and then locked wheels with HACKSAW RIDGE momentarily near the 200m.
KISS THE GIRLS - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up early in the run home. Driver K Butt reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 300m.
HACKSAW RIDGE - locked wheels with LESTER momentarily near the 200m.
J T BOE - pre-race warmed. Paced roughly over the early stages.
Race 9   KNIGHT CONTRACTORS LTD MOBILE PACE
AMALFI - lay inwards rounding the first bend and struck a track marker.
GATECRASHER - late scratching at 10.12pm on 7 February on Veterinary advice.
MOTOR MOUTH - driver A Cameron was issued a warning for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
FLYAWAY - raced wide early. Paced roughly passing the 1200m.
FLO MOTION - raced wide early.
DON JUAN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
FAREWELL SPIT - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards racing into the first bend contacting track markers. Broke near the 300m and continued on in a break throughout the run home. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 150m in the run home. Connections did not contest the protest and FAREWELL SPIT was disqualified by Stewards.
FLYING FOR ME - broke racing into the first bend and shifted inwards dislodging track markers hampering a trailing runner and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
Race 10   ROSELAND RACING HANDICAP TROT
NOAH MAGNIFIC - broke at the start hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
SODS LAW - late scratching at 1.11pm on Veterinary advice after being injured en route to the course. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
TESSAMAE - had to be steadied when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of BARRYTOWN near the 2100m.
CAPPAHA - broke briefly after 150m. Broke again near the 400m losing ground.
BUFFY NORTHSTAINS - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 1800m.
SOLEMN SON - broke at the start losing ground.
JASPRIT TROUBLE - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance driver R Harrison advised the gelding failed to handle the grass track conditions.
Race 11   HSW ACCOUNTANTS /PROMED MOBILE PACE
JAY R TOLKIEN - lay outwards in the run home. Notwithstanding this driver J Morrison was advised to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course in the run home.
BREENY'S CONQUEROR - over-raced early and middle stages.
MAGICAL MAX - over-raced middle stages.
HEY TONIGHT - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver H Orange. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
