Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 4 February that STUBING has been treated for muscle tie up since last racing.
Race 6 - NZB NATIONAL YEARLING SALE 16 & 18 FEB MOBILE TROT
Co-trainer B Hope advised Stewards on 5 February that CROWN THE MOMENT has recovered well from its previous start and it was their intention to continue with the gelding's current preparation.

Co-trainer A Telfer advised Stewards on 4 February that blood tests taken from IRON HEART revealed no abnormalities and it was their intention to continue with the mare's current preparation.

Race 1   HRS CONSTRUCTION (AMATEUR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
HES SANTAS EXCUSE - checked by a breaking runner near the 400m and broke losing ground. An enquiry was opened and adjourned into this incident due to driver W Frost having left the course.
PLAYING WITH STARS - awkwardly placed close to the sulky of PATIRO near the 1400m after driver S Murtha was placed at a disadvantage when being contacted by the trailing TAUMUTU LAD.
FOVEAUX GAMBLER - broke passing the 400m checking a trailing runner losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
LILY'S A STAR - broke as the start was effected losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Lay inwards and raced inside and struck track markers near the 1450m. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
WARLOCH - over-raced middle stages when racing in the parked position.
COURTNEY ROSE - hampered near the 1400m when there was an easing of the pace.
DOVER TERRACE - lay outwards near the 1500m.
JUST ASK PADDY - hampered near the 1400m when there was an easing of the pace.
MOUTON CADET - hung outwards and over-raced in the score up and broke after contacting the barrier arm despite the efforts of driver C Negus. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hampered near the 1400m when there was an easing of the pace. Raced wide from the 1050m.
TAUMUTU LAD - awkwardly placed behind PLAYING WITH STARS near the 1450m resulting in an easing of the pace after contacting driver S Murtha. Driver D Roberts was issued a warning for the manner in which he drove when trailing too closely.
Race 2   RICOH MOBILE TROT
THE ROYAL GAMBLE - hung inwards and struck a track marker near the 200m. Weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner.
VALYRIAN - broke passing the 850m losing ground. Hung inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
NUBLIAH CHAMAY - hung inwards rounding the final bend and early in the run home. Held up near the 50m. Driver W House advised the mare had been on one rein causing him difficulty.
PYRAMID ROSE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the request of trainer/driver M Williamson.
RANDEL HUSTON P - driver B Orange had difficulty activating the removable deafeners near the 150m.
ROYAL DEL - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
TU TANGATA - held up middle stages of the run home.

OCEAN OF TEARS - held up final bend.
BETTER BE QUICK - raced wide early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Dunn advised the mare had been unsuited to racing in the parked position.
Race 4   AVON CITY FORD MOBILE TROT
MAJIC N THE PORT - lay inwards and broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners losing ground. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Thomas advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Mr Thomas advised he will have blood tests taken from the mare in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.
NATIVES INFERNO - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
HE AINT FAKIN - lay inwards and raced inside a track marker leaving the final bend.
HARRIET'S MOMENT - raced wide early. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
TORQUAY STREET - raced wide early. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
KOWHAI SUMMIT - raced wide early. Trotted roughly having to be steadied near the 50m.
LOVEYOU TO DA SKYE - broke near the 1300m losing ground.
Race 5   NZB 2026 NATIONAL YEARLING SALE 16TH & 18TH FEB MOBILE PACE
EYES OF AN ANGEL - hampered in the score up however was in position at the start.
TYPHOON TERE - hung inwards in the score up hampering an inside runner and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened in the run home. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
TIDY KIWI - paced roughly rounding the final bend.
PROPHET - driver B Butt advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
Race 6   COMMODORE HOTEL HANDICAP PACE
KEEPING IT KIWI - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
HENRY WINKLER - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
LONNEKERS - pre-race warmed.
Race 7   BOLTY'S CLEARING SALE 21ST FEB MOBILE PACE
COMMANDER JOE - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend.
CLASSIE LINC - over-raced early and middle stages.
TAKETHEPLUNGE - raced wide early.
GONE SURFIN - hung outwards rounding the final bend.
AMARETTO FRANCO - when questioned regarding the performance driver C Thornley advised the mare was not suited by the tempo of the race and he was reluctant to improve forward as he believed the horse would be unsuited to racing parked over 2600m. Mr Thornley added in his opinion the mare would derive benefit from today's race.
MILOU - held up final bend.
Race 8   BRECKON FARMS - CHECK OUT OUR 2026 DRAFT HANDICAP TROT
BOUNCE N BEYOND - the boring pole broke near the 1800m. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition with co-trainers R & J Dunn deemed not to be at fault.
Race 9   BUY A WOODLANDS STAR 16 FEB 2026 MOBILE PACE
B J HUNNICUTT - over-raced middle stages. Lay inwards and raced inside and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
HUGO - lay outwards simultaneously to an outside runner laying inwards racing into the first bend having to be steadied. Continued to race greenly for a distance.
CLONAKILTY - lay inwards when racing wide racing into the first bend becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of HUGO.
DESTINY'S DREAM - weakened final bend.
I'M ROCKIN - over-raced middle stages.
CAPTAIN KOBE - over-raced for a distance near the 1950m.
WARRIOR CHIEF - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer J Gameson advised that the gelding was unsuited to racing parked at its previous start and had appreciated the fast tempo of tonight's race over its preferred distance.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS 2YO MOBILE PACE
VALIDATION - raced greenly and shifted outwards near the 1100m.
FANFARE - broke racing into the first bend losing ground. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
ROGER THAT - paced roughly near the 200m. Driver C Dalgety advised he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
AARDIE'S A STAR - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again near the 1600m losing ground. Paced roughly near the 500m losing ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation during the running.
