VALENTINA SHEVCHENKO - Driver J Abernethy was warned for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home.
BELLA MUCHACHA - broke at the start losing all chance.
NEYMAR - late scratching at 8.19am on veterinary advice.
TIKI - slow early.
Race 2   NZMCA POP AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
LINCOLN MAREE - paced roughly late in the score up hampering a second line runner and was back from position at dispatch. Continued to pace roughly shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners.
ENZO - jumped on reaching the crossing near the 1500m then broke checking trailing runners losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 900m when trailing the field losing all chance.
WHO'S YOUR DRAGON - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m losing ground.
GWENDOLINE MARY - back from position at dispatch despite the efforts of Driver J Abernethy. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
DESISTELLA - checked and broke near the 1500m losing considerable ground. Weakened near the 400m.
ULTIMATE MACH - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m.
DREAM ON LOU - checked by a breaking runner near the 1500m losing ground. Broke briefly near the 300m losing ground.
Following this event, after consultation with senior drivers, remedial work was carried out to the crossing with further grass cover added.
Race 3   SKYLINE PACKAGES FOR FEB/MARCH ON SALE TROT
COSMIC ANGEL - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Weakened in the run home. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts.
SENIOR CONSTABLE LIZ - pre-race warmed.
WYNBERG JANIE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke racing over the crossing losing further ground. Broke approaching the 150m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer J Teaz.
CAVIAR NOIRE - broke near the 200m hampering a trailing runner.
HAPPY HILL - hampered by a breaking runner near the 200m.
TRIFOLIUM - broke for several strides at the start.
BROTHER JOHNSON - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver D Butcher stated that the gelding had performed up to expectation and he was satisfied with the effort.
Race 4   HIRE A VENUE AT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY MOBILE PACE
TRUE COLOURS - held up final turn and throughout the run home with Driver B Orange not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
RASMUSSIN EFFECT - Junior Driver K Coppins (assisted by A Neale) admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) Whip and Reins Regulations in that she used her whip in a continuous manner early in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $250.
GET SET PARTY - held up final turn and throughout the run home with Driver A Poutama not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
CUPIDS ARROW - held up final turn and early stages of the run home before pacing roughly over the final stages.
Race 5   DRAX PROJECT AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS MOBILE PACE
SPIRITED LOU - held up rounding the final turn before laying out, despite the efforts of Driver S Wigg, contacting the sulky wheel of JAHI and broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
ENYA FRANCO - broke shortly after the start checking second row runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Broke racing off the crossing losing all chance.
MARIA KIRILENKO - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
JAHI - raced wide early.
LUKAKU - checked shortly after the start by a breaking runner.
I CAN TOO - checked shortly after the start by a breaking runner.

BOSS JO - checked by an outside runner and broke near the 1100m losing its chance.
PAT YATES - broke shortly after the start losing ground. Broke near the 250m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
GRACE N ELEGANCE - Driver S Burley reported that a sulky tyre deflated during the running with the tyre and tube coming off the rim in the run home.
EAGLE HANOVER - lay in despite the efforts of Driver J Abernethy checking an inside runner near the 1100m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
SCOOTS - raced wide early.
KENNY HILL - when questioned regarding the performance Driver C Hackett stated that she was satisfied with the effort after being held up briefly rounding the final turn.
CONRAD H - slow to begin. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
SO MYSTIFYING - broke racing off the crossing losing considerable ground.
BUSY CANOODLING - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
Race 7   EVENT CREATION, DELIVERY & PACK DOWN|DUCKHORSE MOBILE PACE
The start of this event was delayed briefly due to Driver H Orange (RHAEGAL) requiring a replacement whip.
LINCOLN LOVER - shifted out under pressure approaching the 100m presenting an inside run to a trailing runner.
COLONEL - paced roughly then broke shortly after the start losing ground. Raced fiercely entering the first turn before shifting out from the running line forcing ABMAN wider on the track. Continued to over-race middle stages. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied this runner had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier and racing manners. Stewards questioned Driver M White in relation to the incident rounding the first turn and were satisfied that Mr White had shifted ground at this stage for safety reasons and took the matter no further.
RHAEGAL - held up final turn and throughout the run home with Driver H Orange not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
KALIOPI - broke racing off the crossing hampering a trailing runner losing ground.
THE ENIGMA - broke in the score up losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
ABMAN - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first turn. Raced wide early before being shifted wider by an inside runner near the 1400m. Raced wide without cover for the remainder.
LOVEABLE ROGUE - held up in the run home until near the 100m when obtaining an inside run.
THE MIKI TAKER - raced greenly throughout the score up and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Paced roughly over the final stages.

TINKERBELLE - broke at the start losing ground.
VERONICA JANE - broke racing over the crossing losing ground before settling. Broke again near the 550m but soon settled. Broke on a further occasion near the 200m losing all chance.
KUMANOVO - broke after 200m losing all chance.
VERY MAJESTIC - hampered at the start and broke shortly after losing ground.
PARADISE ALI - broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners.
TWO FRANCS - broke at the start losing all chance.
Race 9   GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND TAUPO TROTTERS CUP HANDICAP TROT
KAIPAKI JACK - held up throughout the run home.
FORGIVENESS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance and was retired from the event.
CASTANA - held up throughout the run home with Driver T Hanara not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
HALBERG - required assistance from an Attendant prior to the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Backed up and swung sideways just prior to the barriers being released losing considerable ground. Declared a non-runner by Stewards under Rule 213(1)(j) after being denied a fair start.
Race 10   REVELL DOUGLAS MEMORIAL JUNIOR DRIVERS HEAT 3 MOBILE PACE
SKYS LEGACY - paced roughly shortly after the start. Continued to pace roughly at various stages.
HILARIOUS LOVE - broke briefly near the 300m and again just short of the winning post.
KAWACTUS - improved wide with cover from the 1300m before being left wide without cover approaching the 1000m. Weakened leaving the final turn.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - broke in the score up losing considerable ground and trailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.
Race 11   DUNSTAN HORSEFEEDS LAKE TAUPO SUMMER CUP HANDICAP PACE
The start was delayed due to several runners becoming fractious when called forward onto the barriers.
HEAVEN HIGH - stood on the mark when the barriers were released hampering YOU LITTLE BEAUTY and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer O Gillies.
KINGS WATCH - held up briefly near the 400m.
YOU LITTLE BEAUTY - hampered at the start when having to take evasive action to avoid HEAVEN HIGH. Paced roughly entering the first turn.
LOUEZYANA - broke briefly at the start losing ground.
VILLAGE REBEL - weakened final turn. Driver N Chilcott was warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. When questioned regarding her decision to hold the parked position when THE SURFER improved forward three wide approaching the 1200m Ms Chilcott stated that this was the gelding's normal racing pattern and felt it was her best option to hold the parked position rather than risk being shuffled back in the running. Stewards noted her comments.
HOORAY HENRY - broke briefly at the start losing ground. Raced wide with cover from the 1050m.
DOUBLE TIME - raced wide with cover from near the 1300m.
THE SURFER - raced wide without cover from near the 1300m when unable to secure the position outside the leader. Weakened rounding the final turn.
AMERICAN ME - raced wide with cover from near the 1100m before being forced four wide near the 650m.
Race 12   BETA VET MOBILE PACE
SANTANNA MACH - held up early in the run home.
BIG GEE - held up early in the run home.
MILLION DOLLAR CHIC - contacted and punctured the sulky tyre of RUSHKINOFF near the 1400m. Junior Driver W House, who declined the assistance of a senior, admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $300.
RUSHKINOFF - raced wide early before being restrained towards the rear. Raced wide with cover from the 900m. Weakened final turn. Driver Z Butcher reported that he sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 1400m with the tyre and tube coming off the rim in the home.
AUCTIONEER - weakened in the run home.
WALTZING WITH MIKI - raced wide without cover from the 900m.
MARY MAGDALENE - held up throughout the run home with Driver A Poutama not activating the removable deafeners as a result.
CAULFIELD - raced wide early.
Race 13   WAI-BOP THANKS TAUPO RC MOBILE PACE
OHOKA ACHILLES - lay out early in the run home presenting an inside run to a trailing runner.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - broke early in the score up and was back from position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
ALWAYS B AN ANGEL - broke shortly after the start losing ground before settling at the rear. Broke near the 1000m losing all chance. A warning was placed on both the mare's barrier and racing manners.
MIDFREW LUCRE - hampered and broke passing the 800m with a hopple connecting strap breaking whilst in the gallop and lost all chance. This gear was inspected and found to have been in satisfactory condition with Trainer J Abernethy deemed not to be at fault.
RAGNAR LOTHBROK - obtained an inside run early in the home straight.
MUCHACHO - raced wide without cover from the 1000m. Paced roughly near the 800m hampering a trailing runner. Paced roughly again near the 300m and throughout the run home.
NELSON'S BOY - broke shortly after the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Broke again racing off the crossing losing all chance.
