Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
IRON HEART - connections advised the mare has had its joints treated since last racing.
SHOW STOPPER - over-raced middle stages.
SHADOW CREEK - paced roughly from the 700m before weakening. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver B Weaver advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
SCOTLYNN CRUNCH - paced roughly after 150m.
ROCKOUTRAY - raced in restricted room over the concluding stages striking the final track marker.
MIKE'S EYRE - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole.
Race 2   BRECKON FARMS - CHECK OUT OUR 2026 DRAFT MOBILE TROT
The start was delayed two minutes at the request of the TAB due to the Auckland TC meeting running late.
WHATA CASTLETON - broke late in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
MAROUBRA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Authorisation of the promoted 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
NEIL WILLIAM - broke near the 1700m losing all chance.
MAKANI - broke in the score up losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Broke again leaving the 200m before settling prior to the finish. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and MAKANI was disqualified by Stewards.
BULLET - back from the unruly position at the start.
Race 3   BETAVET SUPPORTS THEIR YEARLING SALE PREPARERS MOBILE PACE
TOUCH N GO - raced three wide from the 800m. Weakened final bend.
STUBING - lay inwards and struck a track marker rounding the final bend.
EASTWOOD DREAM - paced roughly late in the score up and broke as the start was effected losing all chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DIDJASEEMIKI - held up in the run home until inside the final 50m.
BURNHAM GIRL - late scratching at 8.55am on Veterinary advice.
B B KING - over-raced early stages. Raced greenly rounding the final bend and again near the 100m. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was not disappointed after the colt had improved wide rounding the final bend and would derive benefit from its first run back after a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
GATECRASHER - raced wide early.
BY CHANCE - raced wide early.
Race 4   TRACKSIDE DINING BACK FROM 27 FEB - BOOK NOW MOBILE TROT
LAVRA SEGIL - broke in the score up losing ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
CALL DUDLEY - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
TETRICK(AUS) - late scratching at 11.30am on Veterinary advice.
Race 5   STUDHOLME BLOODSTOCK "JOIN OUR WINNING TRADITION" MOB PACE
SWEET WILLOW - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Weakened from the 600m hampering a trailing runner.
HUGO - lay inwards on several occasions in the run home having to be straightened by driver S Thornley.
HENRY WINKLER - raced wide early.
JAY R TOLKIEN - over-raced middle stages.
CARBON - held up over the concluding stages.
BETTER BE QUICK - hampered by a weakening runner near the 600m. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room until passing the 100m. Driver J Dunn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BETTOR BE SHARP - raced wide early.
JOHN STEWART - lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 1500m and again rounding the final bend.
TREACHEROUS DREAMS - had to be steadied near the 1700m when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of HUGO after an easing of the pace.
Race 6   NZB NATIONAL YEARLING SALE 16 & 18 FEB MOBILE TROT
KINGAROY - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
CLOVELLY HILL - lay inwards and trotted roughly near the 150m having to be steadied.
CROWN THE MOMENT - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Hope advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any tangible explanation. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
T K MEGASTAR - over-raced middle stages.
MAKAKU - broke late in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
WANNA PLAY A GAME - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
TU TANGATA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver P Nairn advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
Race 7   MAJESTIC HORSE FLOATS TASMAN EMPRESS SERIES FINAL (MOB PACE)
MISTY BLUE - forced to race wide near the 650m.
Race 8   BUY A WOODLANDS STAR 16 FEB 2026 HANDICAP TROT
VERTIGO - hampered by a breaking runner after 200m.
DREAMS PAT - broke near the 500m hampering a trailing runner losing ground. Broke again near the 350m losing all chance.
SUNNY LOUIS - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m.
READY SET JET - broke after 200m hampering a trailing runner losing all chance.
MAVIS JONES - broke at the start losing all chance.
BROTHER LOVE - hung inwards when progressing to the lead near the 1700m having to be straightened. Weakened from the 500m hampering trailing runners. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G Smith advised the gelding may be feeling the effects of recent racing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery.
PARIS PRINCE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500m.
DREAM OF YOU - hampered by a weakening runner near the 500m. Trotted roughly final bend.
Race 9   TOUCHDOWN RENTALS 'YOUR LOCAL KIWI CAR RENTAL' MOBILE PACE
C C ARDEN - weakened final bend hampering a trailing runner. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Williams advised he was disappointed with the effort and was unable to provide any explanation. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no findings of significance.
BUCKSKIN - hampered by a weakening runner final bend.
COMMANDER JOE - over-raced middle stages.
Race 10   GOLD BAND TAXIS MOBILE PACE
CAPTAIN LAWLESS - hampered near the 1500m.
SWEET ESPRESSO - broke late in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
DELIGHTINGOLD - hampered near the 1500m. Weakened from the 600m. A post-race veterinary and endoscopic examination revealed no findings of significance. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
CEE WHATA MICKEE - paced roughly shortly after the start. Attempted to ease near the 1500m when leading hampering trailing runners and then raced greenly on several occasions when racing in the trail.
PROPHET - hampered near the 1500m.
